Hi again! Good to see you're immersing yourself in 40k lore. So what are you going to be watching to-- *OH NO.*
😂😂😂😂
Yeah - that was my reaction
@@hatter3555 mine too D:
Iron Warriors are like hot dogs. Everyone loves them, but everyone hates how they're made.
Lol that's such a great description 😂
Say what you want. It worked. My iron warriors out here making new ranks
I am indifferent towards the legion itself, disregarding Honsou. But Perturabo frustrates me to no end. Dude is seriously overhyped and overglorified. Employed Krieg tactics with astartes, murdered any commander that offered a more efficient solution, and whined about how hard his job was when he didn't even lift a finger to alter his tactical approach. Also employed an archaic disciplinary tactic that was found to be completely and utterly ineffective by the ancient Terran empire that first used it, and had his head rammed so far up his own ass to account for the possibility that his legion may hate him after employing decimation. Perturabo is as bitch-made as they come. Ferrus Manus was everything he claims himself to be. Perturabo's legion, however, well... let's just say they'd have been much better off if Perturabo never made it off Olympia alive. Perturabo ruined his own legion's psychology much in the same manner that Angron ruined the World Eaters. But at least Angron has the excuse of the Butcher's Nails clouding his judgement. Perturabo on the other hand had no such excuse, even less, considering his intellectual ability.
@@venerablebrothergoriate5844 I'm sure seeing the Eye of Terror since youth, without knowing what it is, will fuck anyone up
He isnt overhyped. The Iron Warriors got the hardest and most demanding battles in the great crusade, one should remember that and tell me about the other Primarchs as much as you want but the sheer fact that with the casualties they edured he was able to get a constant supply of new astates is Gorillaman level logistics. Also he planed the drop Site Massacre and coordinated Terra while Horus was busy trying to overpsychic the emperor (lol) , he breached the palace and went away when he realised that A he was to be used as cannonfodder again and what kind of degenerates his traitor brothers were. Also he broke the Imperial Fists legion, say about him what you will but he is the best commander among the traitors @@venerablebrothergoriate5844
I saw the Thumbnail and went "No". I'm so sorry ma'am.
As great Primarch Rogal Dorn once said: *NO*
Understandable.
😂😂😂😂,😮
Ohhhh noooooo....
May the emperor purge your chaosed mind child
This is the one; this is the one where you say both "By the Emperor, I'm in too deep!", and "Yeah; I'm a fan of 40K."
"The first rule about the daemonculaba is not talk about the daemonculaba,
The second rule about the daemonculaba is NOT talk about the daemonculaba..."
Fortunately, the Daemonculaba is no more. Only one space marine warlord, Honsou, actually used it, and the primary site was destroyed by his fellow iron warriors and daemons. No one else has used it since, the technique lost.
Ah, my friend, but remember. This is 40K. Whenever something horrific seems to be gone, we must add the qualifier "for now"
What gave you the idea that, honsou didn’t take note of his research and not possibly shared them with his fellow renegades? Have you forgotten the night lords or emperors children? Who knows how long the warpsmith has been doing this.
@@ATart6 Because Honsou was literally at war with his fellow iron warriors. Because the daemonaculabla requires infastructure, something that both the Emperor's Children and the Night Lords have no interest in. Because the Daemoaculaba was a failure.
@@dadab22 you make a very valid point. Yet capturing those geneseeds didn’t take a lone effort. I fear the other surviving warpsmiths the helped honsou, likely shared this kind of experiment.
@@ATart6 Potentially, but I would imagine that the other warpsmiths would try a different method. One that is far more efficient, and requires less infastructure, and of course, doesn't produce a small army of rejects that rise up against them.
Another day, another war-BY THE EMPEROR! NOT AGAIN
I'd rather be part of the daemonculaba than be captured by the dark eldar. At least it would end instead of being kept alive and tortured for potentially years.
Yeah... you are being "used" by the Iron warriors in an industrial way. It's horrifying, but once you're done, you're done. Drukharis is basically a forever hellish torture, for their amusement and well-being :(
I don't know if I would have to agree. Yes, being endlessly tortured 4 shits and giggles is awful, but I'd like to think that you at least have a chance to a somewhat decent Slave Life, as minuscule as that chance may be. You will probably get tortured now and again, and you would have to survive in the Arena, but you still have some autonomy. Your actions matter, and, depending on how you choose to conduct yourself, you may even be able to better your circumstances. Being a total Masochist would probably also help while staying with the Dark Eldar.
On the other Side of the Spectrum, you can be a industrial Product that get's fattend and then skinned, while furthering a process so foul that even a completly indoctrinated and brainwashed Autist starts gagging.
Sure, there is a chance that exactly the same happens to you when you are a Slave to the Drukhari. But it's a chance, not a certainty. And the Aspect of Chance, of Choice, matters a lot. Or at least I'd like to think so.
At least you're killed in the process of your body being turned into protein slurry
@@RaaBae If you're a masochist they'll figure out a way to make you not one I guarantee it. The Drukhari are there to make sure you suffer and don't have a nice time. They would deny you any kind of masochistic pleasure and you wouldn't really be able to pretend like you hate it since they'd know whether they were getting pain fuel out of you in that moment. If you're so much of a masochist they can't get anything out of you they'd either kill you as you won't be providing suffering to them (and you wanted to avoid dying) or Commoragh or they'd be intrigued and find a way to make you suffer with more passion and dedication than any other slave. You'd just be more fun to break to them and I doubt you want the greatest of torturers with millennia of experience ensuring the worst possible outcome for you specifically. Not a torture you'd find fun in even the slightest way unless giving you that fun would be more catastrophic to you later.
Not only that like I said they live for millenia and have all the experience in the universe with knowing what will provide the worst existence to any given slave there. You'd go in hoping to become a slave instead and they'd be able to read that with ease I'm sure. They wouldn't make you a slave if that's what you were hoping for. I think you're greatly underestimating exactly how inescapable your own personal and horrific hell would be under the care of a race that only exists to make sure it happens.
I'm 100% taking a relatively quick and indifferent death over a well maybe the horrible torture-you-forever monsters might just possibly perhaps not reveal their true power level to me when I visit uwu
The only thing crazier than your take is your confusing use of capitalization like what's going on there? Are you okay?
The people who got captured to be used for any part of the daemonculaba process are traumatized to a zombielike state. The Dark Eldar will make sure you never reach that point, that you are fully aware and screaming for the entirety of it.
Which one of you psychopaths told her to watch the demon kilbasa?!?!
Not me! I'd suggest Baldermort's intro to the night lords first. You don't just recommend daemonculaba.
I did few videos ago.... Boy that escalated quickly
@@_d-- you sick puppy, I salute you
Becoming a couch for a Drukhari, doesn't exactly mean you'll be dead... or even non responsive.
Uriel’s redemption is the best part of this story
Also: Honsou kicking a greater daemon of khorne awake and telling the very angry daemon "hey slacker, there's wizards out there that you should be chewing" and it works.
It's like watching a horror thriller and in the last 5 minutes it becomes the Naked Gun.
🎵"If you like daemonculabas,
And getting caught in the rain"🎵
If you like stealing flesh at midnight, if you have no membranes
BERSERK actually did a really great rendering of this when Ganishka took over old Windham. They took the bodies of apostles and hollowed them out. Then stitched them together and filled them with amniotic fluid. Then lowered pregnant women into it. Because the apostles bodies were essentially portals to hell, demons could then inhabit the babies, and the women would be brought out and torn open by their own demon babies. Wild times.
FFS, don't remind me about that arc. One of the few arcs that I prefer Griffith.
Not even 2 minutes and I knew she was going to experience ptsd by the end of it.
25:21
Isn’t that kind of asking:
“Do you wish you to eat green pill of death, or a yellow pill of death?”
Meaning that there’s only horror ahead either way. Hmm. I guess there’s the small chance that I’ll be chosen as some f**ck toy to some nice drukhari ladies, and the experience might even be fun for the first 3 minutes.
The Daemonculaba is as close as humans have ever come to reaching Drukhari levels of suffering...but it's still not Drukhari levels of suffering. As horrific and mind-breakingly bad as it would be to be captured by the Iron Warriors or Night Lords, I would still choose them over the Drukhari. The Dark Eldar have had MUCH longer to perfect their medical technology to the point where they can even bring their slaves back to life after they've killed them, repeating the process of pain vampirism all over again until even the victim's soul is naught but tatters. At least when we die at the hands of traitor astartes, we're dead. The nightmare is over.
I mean with Chaos there's a matter of torturing your soul too
I’m gonna save myself from watching this and just post this in the comments, “WHY IN THE LIVING F@CK WOULD YOU DO THIS TO YOURSELF!?”
I gotta give the people want they want 😭
I consider myself as a person who doesn’t easily get unsettled by sci fi horror, but Daemonculaba is DEFINITELY something that I’m traumatized to this day by.
Same here😭😭🤍
Try watching this video, is about one of my favorite spacemarine chapters : How the Space Sharks Mentally Broke a Dark Eldar - Warhammer 40k
It's a testament to both the horror and goodness of the story that you (any of us) are left kinda blank minded at the end, needing to allow the subconscious and the conscious to process all of...all of that.
This bit makes Nurgle almost seem preferable.
Also: Death Guard audio book suggestion: Lords of Silence.
A great look into the perspective of a plague marine.
This story always brings me to tears toward the end
Especially when I hear "Iron men! DIE!"
I see why, I tears up towards the end😭😮💨
Wish I could watch live but got a busy day, so glad you were able to get this out. Have a great day
You have a great day as well! Stay safe!
Ah, those unfleshed surely earned their place by the Emperor. Not even the worst perversions of chaos could break the core of what makes us human.
Ah welcome, the inner circle of 40k lore it is a good sight to see ppl get this far. But don't worry it get more murky from here. I recommend you llook into the inquisitor obiwan Sherlock clueso
30:21 this is literally the face of someone in visible pain and discomfort
23:28 the what the F$%K am i watching face
Being captured by the Drukhari is the worst fate in 40k. Hands down.
Probably one of the most terrifying descriptive phrases I've heard in relation to the Dark Eldar:
"You pray you die. You don't."
This is a STRONG contender for worst fate though. Maybe a close second?
@@johnj.spurgin7037i thing contester is having your ship swallowed whole by tyrradid ship and watch as it slowly gets digested.
The worst fate is to be an aeldari (of any faction) who dies in real space without a soulstone handy. You become a part of Slaanesh and are tormented for all eternity.
They just don’t kill you, they play Drukhari games with you, and then they kill you! And then they revive you to take it from the top.
That's some of the best of 40K. Suicidal heroism in the face of unimaginable horror, the nobility of humanity contrasted so absolutely by the monstrosities we can think of inflicting on each other, bitter sweet tenderness and defiance in death amongst the carnage of a world baptized in blood and torture.
It's stories like the Daemonculaba that remind me that life isn't so bad compared to such horrors.

No, you misunderstood, we need more families to make more skin suits, take this bolt pistol and go get more cattle for us.
Man, I'm making myself nauseous lmao, god I hate daemonculabas x)
Might I suggest: "Power Armour Lore" and then "The Longest Second" by Baldermort? The former is a great introduction to the scale of the 40k universe and is relatively short, and the latter will make a stone-cold veteran feel things he forgot he could feel. I cannot recommend Baldermort enough, the man is a born orator and writer. Great video, and thanks for helping get through watching this video again xD
Warhammer 40k is the most terrifying universe in fiction XD
I knew this day would come, where this nightmare would be brought to this channel.
This is part of why the emperor didn't want Female Space Marines.
wait really? how does that connect? I'm just curious.
@@TheBroGamer14082 it's because women are more prone to emotional distress than men.
@@WhineotGames aight
@@TheBroGamer14082 They aren't connected at all, the geneseed required to make space marines is based on a male template, therefore females cannot receive it.
That's the in-universe explanation, really it's just because space marines were created in the 80's and making female action heroes wasn't much of a thing (unfortunately) back then.
@@Tulipses Yeah. I remember one of the guys that worked with GW at the time did design female space marines then but they weren't selling much. Perhaps they could be brought back as one of cawl's discoveries similar to the creation of the primaris. GW could just release a series of FSM heads, their armor doesnt have to be any different.
You can read the tale of this in the Ultramarines Omnibus, great read, one of my favorites.
Really, what did you like about it? Honestly curious.
With the daemonculaba there is a chance of you dying by insulting an iron warriors calling him fat or ungly or something. The dark eldar with make sure you cannot die as they proceed to murdergrape you forever. And the dark eldar dont exactly care about the age of consent so children and toddlers are on the menu. Same goes for the emperor children ala the 3rd legion.
One thing that should be made clear.
The Daemonculaba isn't the worst fate for a human in 40K.
It's just one of the many fates that exist in 40K.
The Drukhari will do much worse with their insane and sinister alien agenda to preserve your life in perpetual unending agony.
The Tyranids will do insanely horrific things to the human form.
Unending aliens and chaos forces do truly malevolent and sinister things to life.
For example, turning a person into a living part of a ship that's left to watch and feel everything as they are just a piece of macabre art.
Saw the title and immediately grabbed popcorn , apologies in advance 40K gets really dark sometimes
32:05
daemonculaba and all the chaos shenanigans:
_awful_
yeah, at least
Oh sweetie... Why do you want to know about this? Please, For the Emperador. It is better if you remain ignorant with this topic. It is for your own mental safety.
I gotta give the people what they want😎
@@TwentyTwoHyagigachadette move.
@@TwentyTwoHyalove you too hehe 🥰🤭
After watching this realize: this is far from the worse fate in 40k. It's just the worse put to print. In the infinite expanse of the warp there are innumerable horrors just as bad if not worse. Totally discounting the Palace of Slaanesh and the horrors of Commoragh.
Yeah this is a bedtime lullaby story for dark eldar children at best.
bit late, but the Daemonculaba is a far better fate than being held by the Eldar. this has an end, a definite end, the Eldar torture for thousands of years.
As heinous as this, it has a purpose. It is not callous for the sake of callousness (not that the iron warriors would not savor the suffering of their victims) but it has a dark purpose. It is industrial malice, professional evil. The drukhari's purpose IS your suffering, and to that end they get inventive.
@@johnj.spurgin7037IDK, this kind of thing always struck me as somewhat out of character for the Iron Warriors, if not Honsou himself, but more a Fabius Bile type of thing to do. I wouldn’t be even remotely surprised if Bile had drawn up the whole daemonculaba procedure and given it to Honsou to make use of.
@@venerablebrothergoriate5844 you'd think that, but the hate of perturabo and the twisting influence of the warp are vicious things. I can totally see 39K+ iron warriors doing it.
Your use of the word(s) chad and giga-chad had me wheezing, thank you lol.
Your sanity has been tarnished, but your mind and soul have held strong. You will make a fine acolyte... Junior Inquisitor.
Tbh I want a animated movie of demonculaba. And I been a fan of 40k when I was 16 I am 28 now.
I remember reading the book Dead Sky Black Sun many moons ago.
I remember being so absorbed into the book (I was in High School at the time), that I was unaware of everything around me.
Also, I forgot a bit about how Uriel is put inside of one of those. Holy hell
The Deamonculaba is probably the most abhorrent creations that rivals the demon book written by the ex priest who was possesed by the Upstart's forces around the Renaissance.
Deamonculaba might be horrific enough to petrify Lovecraft's greatest cosmic horror. Might be bad enough to wake it up, if you will.
If Luetin says it's "fucked up" you know it's going to he an interesting story.
For the record: Daemonculaba is a bit of lore that even some 40k fans think as unnecessarily grimdark even for 40k.
Iron Warriors and Emperors Children are my favourite Legions. I love their Depravity.
Drukari can make that torture last forever if they wish.
"Drukhari are worse cause they keep you alive to suffer" well inlore is still better than having your soul devoured by daemons or worse becoming one. There is no worse or better. Or you experience pain from the flesh or your soul is torn apart and devoured by daemons. We think the first one is worse cause even the lore doesn't explore the souls fate
Uriel ventris is by far my fav Ultrwmarine
Love this. I love that 40k has my four favourite genres of; Fantasy, Sci Fi, horror and mystery. A lot of 40k books are 90% combat and action and it can get boring after you’ve read a few of them, these that add story and depth are the best!
As mess it up Honsou he is I gotta say it is based of him to kick the bloodthirster and order to kill someone certified iron warrior moment
Daemonculaba is horrific, drukari capture a lot longer lasting.
Ah, I remember this part in the book, good times.

the whole 'daemonculaba is the most grimdark 40k thing' is a meme and is a general flag that someone's a newfriend to the franchise, or gets their lore from Bricky or TTS
the Dark Eldar do much much worse things in the regular
Yeah. It MIGHT be the most horrifying thing covered in canon text though? I don't recall any drukhari stories going into comparable detail.
Sure, but the details of the description of demonculaba make it, in my opinion, the most gruesome thing I've read in 40k
@@johnj.spurgin7037isnt there a book focused on the dark eldar that goes into unnecessary detail regarding an archon torturing a toddler?

Ahh yes. Luetin09... The BEST warhammer channel on youtube!
Oh... Yeah...
Daemonculaba...
...
Time to drink again.
The Daemonculaba are an element of older Warhammer 40k ..the actual grim dark ....not shy to show the horror of chaos....it was actual horror .. exactly what would happen if we met xenos lifeform ..the true nature of chaos.
Nowadays in this tame version .. ..people think the worse thing a slanesh demon could do is slash you with crab claws .....
In actuality they perform much much worse acts ..acts that thanks to the lack of physics of the warp can be far more invasive and wrong
Oh snap she did the Daemonculaba, clearly the worst ever thing to happen in 40k.
I suggested this when you first started 40k lore. Hopefully you won't be completely scarred by it.
I actually listen to Leutin's sweet voice talking about this horror show to go to sleep to, I think I might be broken.
Worst thing detailed in text. Drukhari are PROBABLY worse, but they haven't had their deplorable exploits covered in detail, and thank the emperor for that.
When I saw the thumbnail, I became like those Italian dudes reacting to breaking pasta before cooking.....
SEÑORA, NO!!
Sometimes...I'm concerned for myself since I don't get affected by this. But I think it's just I'm a more visual person and need to see it to get the reaction everyone else seems to be getting.
Nah. It's probably just desensitization. With the amount of gore in shows and videogames, living monster wombs are sort of meh. The demonculaba isn't even the worst version of this horror. At some point, gore just stops being horrible.
Oh no, another sea of corpses and blood. How original.
That's absolutely horrifying!
The scary part is that BL could drop some Drukhari lore depicting something just as bad, if not worse at any time...
This is gonna be a good one

so the outro doesn't really explain that the new iron warrior with "storm cloud eyes" is essentially a clone of Uriel. His time in the Daemonculaba seemed to have given enough genetic material to be able to make a clone of him. Yes, this is nasty, but I would argue that the Dark Eldar IMHO are worse. At least the Iron Warriors don't care if you die, Drukhari do their level best to keep you alive, no matter what they do to you...
this was a good story to fall asleep to xD
😮 Well I can finally say this one is definitely to me the Warhammer 40k Horror show 😢. That’s a tall order even in 40k universe to be just bizarrely grossed out my horrific perversions and happenings.
You had to deal with this, no matter what you deserve a comment and a like on principle
The DAEMONCULABA is perhaps the most horrendously grim-dark things in 40k.
As everyone knows, in even the 40k parlance... That is saying something.
lets see how this goes
Ohhhhh i tried to forget about this 😬
Oh boy.... here we go.
The worst part it's that darmonculaba it's soft romantic sex and warm chocolate and strawberrys compared to what Dark eldars could do to you

Strongly prefer going through the Daemonculaba.
Why? Because you will still die...
Horrifying as this is, it has nothing on the reality bending horror of eternal torment by the Drukhari.

whoever suggested this is terrible lol. throwing 40k beginners head first into the Daemonculaba is hilarious and just the worst at the same time
I saw what you were reacting to and said

Oh no... You found it...
Having watche4d it now that the video is out and I'm off work.
1, I'd still rather be captured by the Chaos, cause they won't care if your brain shuts down and dies mid torture, the Dark Eldar will *make you awake for every second of every day for decades if not centuries of agony.
2. I was most moved by the birthed creatures were still loyalist and aided Uriel's fight, and the most CHAD guardsman on seeing the paralyzed space marine traitor, placed a bomb near his head, saying "just cause the astartes promised to kill you, doesn't mean I will. lmao."
3. Astartes are always one of two things, utter bitch ass cowards and egotistical losers, or Righteous chads that put the lives of the imperium above their own.
4. Honsu was actually an OG ironwarrior apothecary during the Great Crusade, and after Perturabo went traitor and linked up with the now utterly corrupted Fulgrim and Emperor's children, went to help see why so many people were dying or in the infirmary, and was instantly knocked out, drugged, and tortured for god knows how long by the Slaanesh Marines, part why he's such a bastard now I think.
