The Thunder Warriors weren’t Space Marines, more like a crude early prototype. The two lost legions were full Space Marines and had their own Primarchs. They were stricken from all records during the Crusade, but no one knows why, or even what they were called.
In the lore no one truly knows what happened to the 2 lost legions. On the tabletop, we know what happened to them, because they were ours to create. Since there wasn't as many subchapters back in the beginning.
The Guilliman Returns! video by The Amber King is really cool if you’d like to get into Roboute Guilliman lore. Although that one doesn’t get into his upbringing, it starts off midway into his story and goes all the way into present day.
To think that after all this, Lion would meet Guilliman again. This will be one of the big things in WH40K. It will be amazing. Guilliman (with ultradepression 🙂) will no longer be alone.
Personaly im a son of guiliman at heart but i have a lot of respect for the lion. And im so glad he is who they chose to bring back after guilliman to the 40k setting. And the fact that he is older and more tempered is even better. I feel the relationship between the 2 primarchs will be a lot better
The second legion was known as the Forgotten, the 11th is the purged. One was simply unmemerable. During the banter between Sangy, morty, fulgrim, and Jaghatai the second primarch was there. Primarchs however can only remember that the two existed but only fulgrim to my knowledge has any memory of them stating the 2nd was a man of few words.
It's also important to note that it's heavily implied that the 2nd legion was integrated into both the Ultramarines and Imperial fists as like over a few years they both saw an incredible growth in numbers

Sangunius was perfect to be the new Emperor. Lion would not like to see Guilliman the new emperor and vice versa. Lion and Guilliman knew that neither of them could be the new emperor. This would introduce a lot of conflict. Sangunius himself reluctantly accepted this proposal, but the other brothers were most willing to do so. They themselves received positions that suited them. Lion was given a position that corresponded to Warmaster of the First Empire. And he really didn't see himself in a position like the Emperor. PS. For the Lion! PPS. The way Lion El'Jonson roared and plunged his shield into Angron's head was epic. Angron was so charged with power that he exploded, leaving a crater behind when he died.

From my knowledge nothing is known about the two "lost legions" the best l guess is they did something so bad they had to be taken out and have their name and history removed or maybe both legions where wiped out to a man primarch included so the imperium swept it under the rug Also frost punk mentioned RAHHHHHHHHHHH

So word is, the original writer that mentioned these two was in his own head (so this is totally not cannon just the initial thought) that, the fallen legions are remembered because they are a warning, but the redacted fell out of grace and did something to right their wrongs, thus being given the privilege of being forgotten. And I kinda like this, however I like the concept that the 11th was purged because their allegiance was to Erda before the emperor. It always struck me as odd that Erda didn't make one of them loyal to the mother instead of the father.

I feel like The Lion is such a simple character. but it's how he interacts with the world that makes him more complex. He likes to deal in absolutes. and unfortunately the universe is full of grey areas. kinda hate how this video ruins some of the lion son of the forest novel. but it is the nature of warhammer videos. how emotionally invested you become in these stories is a real treat. makes your reaction very genuine. Robert Rath (author of the infinite and devine) just wrote a novel on the fall of cadia. i'm hoping it's good. thanks for being you and sharing your videos!

I was doing it by vote since so many people were telling to do multiple primarchs, I still may do it by votes because Angron will be the last Primarch I react to, because people have told me it's the saddest one.

Hya I was wondering, since you find it a lil difficult to both make notes and listen to the story, why don't you pause the video and tell us what you're writing down? For example, an interesting thing happens, you pause, start writing, tell us what you're writing and what's going through your head about the thing you just heard, you maybe ask our opinion and then you continue the video. Would that work? Just a suggestion ey
I am particularly reluctant to accept this new apologizing and accepting Lion El Johnson instead of the paranoid asshole he was always portrait as. I understand that people seek for growth and maturity in their favourite characters, but I feel like the character lose much of their personality and the drive that made them unique and interesting in the first place. I fear that in order to give fulfilling fan service story arcs, we will end with a bunch of primarchs that all have the same principles and mind sets, can't do any wrong or have any defects, and that will go against the core theme of warhammer, that is a the grim dark hopeless decadent future. So you see... some stories are better if there are no happy endings or personal growth. As much as i like the new god of war series, the core theme of the destructive avatar of vengeance was lost, in the end i felt like i was playing a different game. Kratos is no longer angry and vengeful and become the God of father, Freya lost her obsession over the loss of baldur and ends forgiving everyone. It felt forced and uncharacteristic.
