Everyone in kinshasa knows french , I grew up in Limete and had friends that were born in kinshasa and only knew french and also had cousins in Gombe who were born and only knew french in Kongo and came to learn lingala in USA thru me and their Dad wasn't even a politician, and this cousin of mine speaks french even better than a typical person walking in Paris. So a typical person in Gombe or other neighborhood in kinshasa speaks well French. My family speaks French to each other, and none of them is into politics. I only learn french from my family, but I speak better french than Algerians and maroccan. And these are just the facts and realities, I ain't trying to pander french And we are not trying to pride french in the Kongo. We like our Lingala. we just use french as a tool because Kongo has been speaking french for nearly 100 years , we are not Rwandese who had German colonies

That is not true , because we have been speaking french in the Kongo since the colony , Kongo DRC is has the highest population of french speaking, it is even recognize in thr francophone world that Kongo is the highest french speaking country.
