Thank you for the review! Quick question on something I’m confused about. Once you make cultured butter and save the buttermilk from that, how long will the buttermilk last in the fridge? Would you keep adding more buttermilk to it from successive batches of butter, or toss the older buttermilk and replace it with the new to have on hand for recipes/culturing the next batch of butter? I feel like I’m ready to tackle cultured butter but just stuck on this detail. Just keep the newest batch of buttermilk on hand?

Great Azure haul! I have been buying from them for years and absolutely love everything I have ever gotten. I remember the constant shortages of chocolate last Fall! Once I had my "grocery store pantry" totally filled about 18 months ago, I started ordering from Azure just three or four times a year to keep things always in stock. I just made the last order of the year to make sure I will have all of the spices, cocoa, chocolate chips, sugar, flour, and EVERYTHING we will need for the rest of the year. It is massive at $2,000.00 and I kinda dread picking it up and getting it all in the house but I am not going to be stressing about those things that were always in shortage last year. One more trip to Costco in the Fall and I will have our family ready for relaxing and enjoying the holidays. I have spent this week blanching and freezing 10 bushels of baby lima beans and purple hull peas. Am about to be finished putting up 20 lbs. of jalapeños for Cowboy Candy and the extra juice as "Cowboy Glaze". I have a long list of home canned foods to get done by Fall and thankfully I enjoy doing all of it.

Growing up, as kids we were told burdock was very poisonous 🤷‍♀️. Good to know NOW that it has benefits! We had 60 goats on our farm one year, 20 milkers. We always hated if they got into some burdock, made the milk so bitter. Sometimes Mom would have me go out and search for it to destroy it before the goats got at it😂. Please let us know how it goes for supper!

Honey garlic tastes amazing - even the kids love it. BUT of course it needs to sit for 6 months to a year to reach that candy like flavor. I agree completely with you. My best friend has bees and gifts me a couple quarts every year and I make this honey candy potion. YUM. Thanks for this reminder to go look at my garlic - been waiting for July 4 to pull one to see how it has grown and my honey is waiting for it. I also use it for my salad dressing, over fried chicken, and any other way that feels good at the time. Great video, thanks.

I had to chuckle Amanda, I think the receipt thing is hilarious. I'd get a good laugh out of it like you did, but also maybe just in case it could lead to "issues/confusion" consider dropping the "The" and it would then say "Happy Home" or "Happy Homes" ? That would be a cool reminder on the receipt haha. Loved the recipes and process you shared, garlic is so yummy! 💚

Real Olive Oil should solidify. I put my garlic in food processor with a lil Olive Oil and in eggs trays or ice cube trays and make garlic pucks and freeze. I love it. When a cooking recipe says garlic, I always have a puck ready and no need to defrost. Another tip for you, use wood spoon for honey, regular spoons contaminate the honey- reason for those wooden honey utensils. TY
