Thanks for the comment. I only used it for an hour so can’t say what it is actually like on fuel without spending a few days with it and doing my normal journeys. When you buy this kind of car though fuel consumption is the last thing to worry about. It will be more smiles per gallon.

@@DrSaahb I have had one year this Great looking car. But I was over 6 times to repair anything. It costs nothing. All in Garantie. But After one year the Problems with gears and Elektrik was too much. I gave my car back and by my dealer other 4 owners have the Same Problems. The car Looks very Nice but thats Not all. I drove over 35 years many SL Modells but this is the Modell with too many mistakes.

That sounds like you had a really bad experience. Sometimes it can be just faulty from factory just like an Apple iPhone.

Thanks for the comment. Do you have the Driving Assistance Package. If so then it should automatically adjust the cruise control? If you don’t have the package above then it will need you to press the RES button to adjust the speed.

@@DrSaahb Ah, yes i do but in my Ford puma it just adjusted the LIM to speed limit changes which was so easy. I just thought it worked the same in Mercedes.

I think it does do something similar but you would have to have the Driving Assistance package as an option fitted to the car.

So UK customers get satellite navigation and Apple CarPlay as a standard feature. Which country did you buy your car from because some countries may charge to have it from factory or the option to buy it later through the Mercedes Me online Portal. Some countries may require you to take the car to the dealership to have the features fitted.

Thanks for the comment. 1. The car in this video has the ambient lights in the vents. I think this feature is no longer available for the GLC. 2. I would get this checked and resolved under warranty (there should be no charge for warranty work like this).

@@DrSaahb thanks for your swift comment. I’ve got a couple other questions: 1. How do you demist front and back windscreen 2. How do you turn the back wiper to continuously work? Noticed I have to push the wiper button and then it does one wipe. I have to repeat this every single time I want the back wiper on which for me doesn’t make any sense.

Well I bought mine in 2019 with around 40,000 miles and it has been a great car. Servicing and maintenance is expensive but it’s a Mercedes and I take it to the dealership for all the work. I still own the car now and its done over 66,500 miles. I am planning to keep it for a long time too aslong as nothing big goes wrong with it lol

@@rs22296 thanks dude, yeah the deal was £3,500 contribution which was actually better than the Q2 offer which was £3,000 to me it didn’t make too much difference in the end it’s how much you want to put down initially that will help lower the monthly payments

Thanks for the comment. I need to do a video for adaptive cruise control. So for some models, some features are pre-installed to the car so current or future customers can unlock features like the adaptive cruise control or Apple CarPlay etc. To purchase features you need to have a Mercedes Me account and it needs to be connected to the car. Then you can purchase the features from the Mercedes Me Online Portal/store. You just purchase the features online and do not go to the dealership to purchase the features. Hope that helps?

Thanks for the comment. I think for your model year, Apple CarPlay will not be full screen which is a shame. I believe the facelift B-Class may have full screen version of Apple CarPlay.

Sometimes when the car was ordered from new it may already have Apple CarPlay installed so you don’t have to purchase it.

@@DrSaahb hi and thanks for answering. The old model has reset option so that you push up, front, back for 5s and roof starts open properly without going to service. And on this touch panel for roof it seems not to work the same I spouse or do I miss something.

Thanks for the reply. I have no idea to reset the sunroof but your car should have warranty, so take it to the dealership and ask them to check it under warranty and they should be able to fix it. It might be that the car needs a software update. Have you also tried saying “Hey Mercedes, open sunroof”?
