My A200 AMG Mercedes has the symbol on the steering wheel for adaptive cruise control, but when I attempt to use the same a message comes up on the screen to say that this facility needs to be payed for to activate. Can you explain. Thank you.

Thanks for the comment. I need to do a video for adaptive cruise control. So for some models, some features are pre-installed to the car so current or future customers can unlock features like the adaptive cruise control or Apple CarPlay etc. To purchase features you need to have a Mercedes Me account and it needs to be connected to the car. Then you can purchase the features from the Mercedes Me Online Portal/store. You just purchase the features online and do not go to the dealership to purchase the features. Hope that helps?

I have a 2023 CLA 45 that has Driving Assistance option. I have route-based speed disabled in the settings. However, my cruise speed still auto-adjusts when it detect different speed limits, VERY ANNOYING. I'll be cruising at 80, and it detect an old construction zone, and it hits the brakes trying to adjust speed down to 60. Is there any thing else I'm missing? TIA!

Thanks for the comment. I haven’t had a chance to drive a car with the Driving Assistance Package for the last 5 years. I am planning to do a video on a GLE which has Driving Assistance Package, so it will be relevant for your car, aslong as your car is the facelift model.
