I’m the owner of an A35 sedan version, and I’m very impressed with this car both as a daily driver and for long road trips. Over a distance of 5,300 km, I achieved an average fuel consumption of 6.8L/100 km, driving mostly at 120-135 km/h on cruise control. I also drove 400 km through the mountains in Switzerland and reached speeds of over 220 km/h a few times on German highways. The car is very comfortable, and the 420L boot space is excellent! I’ve driven both the pre-facelift and facelift versions of the A35, as well as the A45. In my personal opinion, the A35-with its extra power from the electric engine-provides better acceleration and more power at lower revs, which gives it a sporty feel similar to the A45. Honestly? The A45 sounds better inside the cabin, but outside, it’s much worse than the A35. Its fuel consumption is also much higher, and the suspension is really stiff. On rough roads or long distances, it makes you feel more fatigued. Sure, the A45 has more power, but personally, I wouldn’t trade my A35 for an A45. Additionally, my A35 is the 2023 facelift version, and it sounds amazing during the "emotion start." with pops and bangs! Of course, with every passing year, more and more restrictive regulations seem to ruin that kind of fun! Cons: The build quality could be better. Over time, the side pillars start to creak a little, especially when driving over uneven surfaces. Also, the 18-inch tires are quite noisy (unless the seals are just that weak).
Thanks for the comment. This is great feedback from an owners perspective! The A35 is a really special car. What specification is your car and what colour did you go for?
@@DrSaahb I tried to provide potential owners with the best feedback I could and thanks for kind words ☺ Basically, my car is almost fully equipped. I have advanced cruise control, Multibeam headlights, a panoramic roof, the aero package, and the "Mountain Grey" color. The only things I don’t have are the race seats-since I travel a lot and don’t drive on the track often (I’ve been to the Nürburgring once)-and don't have Head-Up Display because I think is totally useless as we got an amazing Mbux with all needed and clear infomrations.
Wow you have an amazing specification for your car! Love all of the features you have including the Panoramic sunroof! Let me know how you get on with the car in the future?
Thanks for the comment. I would recommend any used car you are buying has a full Mercedes Service History. It will have a 3 year warranty from new so you will still have two years left if you buy a 2023 model. The a45 has more power but depends what performance cars you have owned or driven because the a35 has plenty of power for most people.
Thanks for the comment. I only used it for an hour so can’t say what it is actually like on fuel without spending a few days with it and doing my normal journeys. When you buy this kind of car though fuel consumption is the last thing to worry about. It will be more smiles per gallon.
Hey great video, I’m curious what year is your car as I currently have a 2024 A35 from March this year and mine does not do emotion start but I see yours does?
Thanks for the comment. This car is a 2023. Your car should have it too I think. Before you start the car, press and hold the paddle shift, then start the car and it should do the emotion start which sounds abit naughty. Let me know how you get on please?
Yeah seems like it was removed from the 2024 revision as this no longer works tried it 3 times on my way to work this morning but nevertheless then pops on the high end are very much still there! Thanks for your help though
Tettenhall is lovely. I don’t like to say where online but I have been in Wolverhampton most of my life now and definitely feels like home. I have been lucky to go to different countries but home is where the heart is.

@FOXHOUND4143 thank you and for the feedback! I do appreciate it. I need to practice talking while driving as it doesn’t come natural when recording videos.
Thanks for the comment. I didn’t use the car long enough to test the consumption. You could get the official MPG information and then knock off 10-15mpg to get a rough idea.

I've been using this AMG A35 2023 for about 6 monts, it gave fun and adrenaline driving experience, LOVE IT!!!!😂

Yo, big man, I need your help and advice I’m going to buy a35 2023?
Anything that I would be aware of?
I guess less deference between a45s?!

It's aroung 12km per litre in Jakarta, but with Sport+ it'll around 9km per litre! 😂

is it true that amg35 sounds better than cla45s?
Thanks for the comment. Who said that? I think the 45s are technically louder. I haven’t heard the new 45 in person yet.
In my opinion, since it also cheaper yess! The acceleration and the handling very much better!
Have you driven the A45? I haven’t driven the facelift so I cannot give an opinion. Hopefully in the near future I will get my hands on one.
