I must say that I absolutely love your reviews and features demonstration of these great cars. I LOVE the detail and dont find the videos too long at all (in fact I could watch them for 2 hours). Makes it feel like I already own the car until I can finally afford to buy one😂
Thank you so much for this comprehensive video! I've had my CLE Cabriolet for about 3 weeks now. You've answered a number of questions I had, plus told me features of which I was unaware. FYI I am in the US with the steering wheel etc. reversed. Haha.
Haha thank you for the comment. This has made my day! I need to check out the CLE cabriolet in person yet. It looks like a fabulous car. What colour combination did you go for?
Alpine gray exterior, grey top, beige (cream) interior. There weren't any in the US with this combination and the equipment I wanted so i had it made to my specs in Germany. That was so cool! I'm loving the car. The windscreen and aerodynamics are superb. I can even drive on the freeway without getting blown away. Thanks again for these videos. I'll definitely be watching more.
Just fantastic. Very clear nice and calm and god details in the explaining. Just bought a CLE 200 coupe and have listened to this video several times now, as it is so many things to learn and to know. Thank you very much for your professional explanations. Love it all thank you very much indeed.
Thanks for the comment. This has really made my day! Check out the CLE Playlist for more videos. What specification did you go for and what car did you own before?
@@DrSaahb Hi, Not sure about which specification, but think is it the standard as I just want to have 4 wheels and steering wheel. Had C 180 for 10 years and loved it. Before that a 300 CD. Once a Mercedes always a Mercedes. Picking up the CLE 200 on Wednesday so I need to know as much as possible. Your videos are great and clear to understand as they will help me a lot. Thanks again.
There are two time/clock displays, one on the lower left of the instrument panel display and one on the upper right of the big home-screen. (American version.) Is there a way or a layout that makes the clock bigger?
Thanks for the comment. I don’t have a dedicated video on this but I do have a couple of other cars that had Head-up Display. Watch this one on a GLE from 26:22 ua-cam.com/video/U2e6e9zOkRw/v-deo.htmlsi=r1BLnJxpufLOLFIf Or watch this one on a GLC SUV which has similar screen layouts as the CLE from 25:14 ua-cam.com/video/z2LcEenZtAs/v-deo.htmlsi=DR-R9Fh-Sgn4beVs
Thanks for the video! I was wondering, on my CLE as soon as I turn the car on and my user is logged in my climate turns off. Auto gets off and AC is off as well. I have to turn that back on every time. Is that something that all Mercedes cars do or is it an issue with CLE or maybe my particular car?
It sounds like it could be a software issue on the car. I bet a software update will resolve that issue. I would get it booked in with your local dealership to get it checked and they may do a software update to fix it.
When my gas goes into the fuel reserve (running out of gas in the tank) I can’t see how many miles I have left to drive, is there a way to display the mileage left ? TIA, Max.
Excellent video. Quick question, did you find the steering wheels buttons very sensitive? it looks like you can end up accidentally touching a button while steering and end up adjusting/turning something off/over whilst steering. Or is this not the case? Martin from London..
Thanks for the comment. I sometimes do accidentally press a switch but it is sometimes only when I drive a Mercedes with this steering wheel. You will get used to it. I don’t normally press anything that affects driving.
Thanks for the comment. If you watch this video from 8:19 ua-cam.com/video/7ncdXR5at2c/v-deo.htmlsi=XstAKVQzgmka8y9U which shows how to connect a USB. The USB needs to be formatted to FAT32 I think too. Let me know how you get on please?
Wow that is what I call a superb specification! You won’t see many cars with the red interior and combination! Let me know how you get on with your amazing car 😃 Also thanks for the other message! I do really appreciate the support.
The Mercedes breakdown service is useless as they will only take you to the nearest dealer, even if it is closed! You will then have to stay in a hotel and sort it out the next day. Had a bad experience with my E300 Coupe. I’ve now got a CLE53 but have paid for separate AA breakdown cover, as they will at least get you home!
That sounds like a nightmare. I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I am surprised they did not offer a taxi to take you home and then to sort out a courtesy car the next day.
Thanks for the comment. I didn’t get a chance to drive this car properly but hopefully I get my hands on one again and I can do a review on how it feels to drive etc. Initial thoughts felt like an E-Class.
Thanks for the comment. I have a video of the GLC Coupe which is similar but just ignore the “Offroad” screen. If you watch it from 14:56 that will give you a good idea on the Drivers Display ua-cam.com/video/aPpDsMLaZp4/v-deo.htmlsi=smZmBOFfztGCmI16
18.5mpg 11mph: this is your average mpg and speed. 131 mi 11.55h: i think this is total miles driven since last restart (you can restart this to 0) 4m 1.13h: i think this is miles and how long the car has been driven (i only drove this at the dealership and the sales person drove from home to work that day).
What's to know of the new CLE? Everything function you describe is not unique to this new type of Mercedes. All the functions appear in the other models of Mercedes. So stop making it appear as some new wow technology.
Thanks for the comment. The video focuses on this car so people that are new to Mercedes or even familiar, can see how to use the main features of this car. I do have other types of videos including a more typical review video on this car. Let me know what you think of that one please ua-cam.com/video/qNtm5A-6Fqg/v-deo.htmlsi=RlOf12DXNNKFvgDC
I’m not new to Mercedes. This is my 3rd and from the the 2018, 2021 and 2024 there’s always added changes/updates. Steering wheel controls are changing and etc. Each model I’ve had there are different variations. So this video is useful and quick. 😊
