You could use a paintball gun. Uses air not gun powder to propel the projectile. Only down side might be less distance. Normal paint paintball gun range falls between 75 and 150 feet.

I really want to try this setup for semiautomatic action but My gun doesn't have that port under the top of the pistol, it just has a port under the butt. Do you think it will change anything if I connect a short piece of tubing to the end of the gun barrel and then connect that Schrader valve (for the automatic action) to it?or the set up must be exactly this way to work? Put the shrader valve in front of the trigger so when you release it, it dumps. Have enough travel in between so you don't dump the tank.

Why would you have the main tank connected to the bottom on the qev and rely on a the other (smaller chamber) on the trigger end? Wouldn't it be much easier and more reliable if you switched the smaller chamber and the larger chamber. Then all you would need to do is change the orientation of the 3 way valve (trigger) so that the only 2 states are "qev to atmosphere" which fires the gun with all the air in the small chamber, and "large chamber to qev" which fills the smaller chamber again?

How does that industrial QEV handle 600 psi? Those are normally rated 150 psi or less.

With the "lower" pressure just create a projectile with a higher BC, freeze it with rifling in the ice progressively build pressure as to not mock up the rifling on the projectile until at least it's most of the way down the barrel. I mean extremely favorable terminal ballistics just due to the rigidity of the material on impact not to mention with the pressure exerted once it gets high enough it would just slip through the barrel. You got my head running.

Nice, but I guess if the slug didn't make much damage it's because of three things: You barrel is not rifled, the slug you used was made out of steel and it wasn't pointy. That's also why the lighter ball bearing worked better, it's round and light so it goes faster and got less friction. If you had tried to shoot with a lead/copper slug with the shape of an actual bullet, slightly lighter and with a rifled barrel you would probably have went through both the laptop and the wood plank. Good video tho.
