I seem to remember an old gun show. Guy ordered a custom 50bmg carbon barrel. The barrel walls had to be made more than twice as thick as steel if I recall correctly. Looked like a drain pipe with a stock lol 😉

farcticox 1 I hadn't looked it up. I surmised the same things they said though. Great resilience to pressure at the ends, but terrible at handling internal pressure
