thanks! hoping it turns out well. i actually looked at brake line today. had some stuff that would have worked for .177 caliber, but nothing for .22. brass is actually used for air rifles semi often.
you'll want to take a look at this video: ua-cam.com/video/oLR0vE3kjWk/v-deo.html was dumping i think around 20psi per shot, but that chamber was way too big.
Not 100% sure what you're asking, but if you fill from the rear of the QEV whether it's from a compressor or a compressed gas source, you need a chamber that holds the air in the QEV until it's dumped.
as stated in the video, it's .25 inch od and .22 inch id and 36 inches long. you could potentially use a co2 cartridge. however the qev wouldn't be rated for ~800psi. So you'd either have to regulate it, or use at your own risk. if you look at my channel, i have a few firing videos of this gun
make a diy qev , and a block off valve ( for semiauto, allso adjustable for more or less power) it is far better than what you got there. at that pressure 100 psi (?) a real qev would of hurt your finger badly , and shoot off that pellet like it should, even it is not in the barrel and even at 100 psi.
Can you share the measurements of inner diameter and outer diameter of pipe for .22 ,5.5 mm pellet
Sweet, very nice prototype. Have you ever considered solid brake line, rolled steel and comes in many widths and lengths.

Wouldn't it be nicer to add a 'trigger' to the slide valve? Like a gun has.
Or isn't this possible?
sure
New Sub 😄 welcome to the diy weapon playlist 👌
Never too late to...Nice playlists..helped me a lot..thank you:-)
Nice job how much PSI is released when shooting?

Swan Donovan Ok but what is the chamber for if connected to air compressor... do you need the chamber if connected compressor or vice a versa?

sir i just want to ask if you put spring your QEV?
Proteus macapagal spring is only needed if filling from chamber side. Filling from pilot doesn't need a spring. Aka no spring with this setup
thanks for your feedback sir.. i just wondering if i will put spring in my 1/4 qev piloted by sliding valve.. i guess i will copy your setup :)
sir did you know how to make a rubber piston or seals for this qev?
There should be a rubber sealing inside the QEV already when you buy it!
i mean i want to make one or buy one piston if the rubber piston broke :)
How can make u this barrel"?
whats the size of the barrel and could u use 12g co2 cartridges

witch part was 22inch lol
no part is 22 inches..... the id of the barrel is .22 inch
Right ok thank u
