I think UA-cam like camping has to be a hobby you enjoy. If not, you need a whole team behind you pushing you and assisting you but if you’re just a one-man show, it needs to be a hobby first.

Nice job, I did the same to my tent. Very nerve racking cutting a hole in an expensive, perfectly good tent. In the end worth it knowing i can survive in the winter. Figured out what you are going to plug the hole with when not using your stove?

It's best to take your dog camping in the woods with friends too.

Campsite is well used and pretty. I would have opted for the area where you found the firewood, less work and more privacy. Just my observation, maybe that wasn't an option. Thank You for the video.

I came up with a DIY setup similar to yours. Using orange down rigger line for guy lines. My hammock is a Kelty classic bivy that I made into a bridge. And I made the tarp so that it also sets up as a Wheelan lean-to .

Way too much work on that tent or the shelter whatever you call it. I could have mine set up in half the time and be just as well off as you are.
