Really love this place, it would be cool to see you do more there, like the trail cameras too!! Thanks for taking us along on your adventures! Take care and be safe!!
Rochester NY here. I know all about "False Spring" and then "Final Winter" and then FINALLY Spring for real! Next time, try a dry rub on the ribs, and move all the coals to one side and put the ribs on the other side, uncovered for an hour, and then 2 hours in the foil, sauce for the last (4th) hour and then uncover, brush on more sauce, and put them over coals 5 minutes (or longer for more char), meat side down. Not trying to tell you what to do, that's just my favorite way and thought I'd share.
We'd love to see more from there! Also, I highly recommend getting the rechargeable batteries and solar setup for those cameras so you don't have to do anything with them..... If you can get a good size solar panel it will work much better than the small ones it usually offers (you might have to make your own setup for this and it could be another video as well 😎). Cheers!
I love that place, it sort of reminds me of the family hunting place here in Texas. Its awesome of you to clear out those places, because I know how much work that is, but I also know your family appreciates your hard work. Good job!! Wow the bear is amazing, hope we get some more shots of him or her this year. As always I enjoyed your photography and trip. Til next time....Jay in Texas.
Just found your channel, and am watching for the first time. Love your place. I know 12 AA batteries can add up. If you use lithium batteries, they last so much longer in those cameras. Even when it gets super cold, they don't drain like conventional lead acid batteries.
Of course we all know that it's not true, but if you told me there was only 1 single brand of charcoal briquets and that brand was Kingsford, I'd nod and agree with you just the same. Good looking piece of whitetail property, Rob!
I love your videos. Im tryn to get land ready for 16x25 wall tent. But you my friend have give me huge idea's. With the all steel buildings or boxes. I wonder how hard it be put two together and one on top for bedroom and deck out over top the other bottom one big windows slider double doors. Dude 50footers. Simply amazing man log sides.
Don’t worry about getting those 20 AA alkaline batteries … that cell cam will use them up fast … 😏 Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA will cost a bit more but they will last a lot longer, and they will preform much better in the cold… and they will not leak and wreck your camera! … I use the Spypoint version of cell cam at my hunt camp in Northern Ontario. It can be challenging when the cell signal is low. A LTE cell signal will use a lot less battery life than a 3G cell signal. Also black bears have an exceptional sense of smell and i have had them rip my cams off of the trees! They can smell my human hand scent months after i touch the cams. Love your videos! You certainly put in the hard work 👍.
You have that chain way too tight on that saw. You should have about 1/16" of droop off the bottom of the bar. If it snaps you could loose a leg. Looks like a Lopi stove in the man cave. I have a Lopi Freedom fireplace insert, and Really Love it!! The firebrick lining is the key. You need to get a couple of those heat operated fans to circulate the air better from that stove. Nice setup!! Yes, more trail cam stuff, videos too. I have several. I have mine set to one still and a 10 sec video. Jerry
Hey Rob - "How's it goin?" - Enjoyed the video. Glad you are getting out and I enjoy the vids when you come to the Container Camping Compound. Not sure about that Ranch Water. We had watering troughs for the cattle on our farm and we called it ranch water. The ribs looked awesome, think you got them right and you have earned your Grill Masters Merit Badge. Stay safe. See ya on the next one. Randy in Arizona (90 degrees F today)
Rob you get 5 Stars for those ribs. But seltzer? That's like going hunting in a dress! LOL Just kidding. Love your property. You're living the dream. Thanks for sharing. 🌲
The thing with the char - I think it is better to be charring the sauce than the meat/fat. If you get the meat/fat charred it has a greasy burned taste, while the sauce has a more caramel-ly flavor since it is primarily the sugar burning.
So it's the container camping compound, nice. Can we shorten it to area C3, or the C3 area? Imagine that would be TC3A. I only ask because you know that some dark side of the moon, yeti, road runner stuff is gonna show up on the trail camera. One can only hope, right? Like the change as this is the first I've seen of this site. Nice. As always continue the great work, be well, and stay safe.
Yo I was watching the Florida episode where the guy was talking about you getting killed at night how often does that pop up at night all alone in the bush Robert cue weirdo music hahaha yo miss you man stay safe love the videos
Thanks Paul!! I actually have one and I need to remember to bring it with me when I'm doing videos like this because I realize when I turn away from the camera it gets very hard to hear
It looks to me that you ought to sharpen your Chainsaw chain - it should have gone through those logs much better than it did and the giveaway sign is that you're throwing out sawdust and not little woodchips.
It definitely needs sharpening! I don't think it's been sharpened at all since I got it in the summer, I have a lot of cutting to do this spring so it needs a full service
@@BrooksandBirches You have a Husqvarna I think? Quite reliable, but I prefer STIHL As long as keep air filters clean, the correct ratio of oil and don't leave old fuel in them for months then, they're usually fine.
I'll go ahead and line you up before somebody else does. When it comes to Texas they take there BBQ very serious along with there Dogs and beer. No Texan would be caught dead rubbing BBQ sauce on ribs and cooking them like you did. So they were in fact ( Not Texas BBQ ) Hey I'm not Judging, just saying !!! I'm from Kentucky and to be honest I've never seen a Kentuckian cook ribs like that either. I think that's a north of the Mason Dixon Line thing you've got going on there Robert. You seemed to really enjoy them very much. Hey if you want to know how to cook Texas or Kansas City style ribs ,just let me know.
No lime in your corona…. Will you please do a fkn taste test with corona (light) and fkn lime Robert CORONA LIGHT great video love the charcoal and fire in hut man life is good hillbilly
A lot of these camping channels appear to be about how much money you can spend on unnessecary and pretty much useless products. Again advertising is on its relentless war on quality of life.
There is no better vacation than being in nature! Thank you!
Would you like to try a colorful fire next time?
Great little spot to unwind. Nothing wrong with a little char on the ribs. Cheers Rob.
Yes that would be great to see some more pictures of your trail camera.i love watching your videos I will keep watching them there great.
Looking forward to trail cam pics/video! Thanks for sharing!
The "bachelor's shack" looks like a good place to go hang out. Like what you all have done with the food plots. It will pay dividends this fall.
Really love this place, it would be cool to see you do more there, like the trail cameras too!!
Thanks for taking us along on your adventures!
Take care and be safe!!
Thanks Bobbie! I want to get a couple more trail cameras set up and do some video stuff out there as well for you guys
The colord brooks and birches stamp is really cool Robert I like it man
I like the plan for bringing deer in. Great video as always!

with the amount of snow melt and rain water, you could dig trenches to divert the puddles. Also maybe raise your containers up off the ground..
That hoodie is the bomb
Another amazing video! Keep up the great work brotha!
Thanks brotha!! Will do man!!

New channel?
👍😬👍
Man, go for broke with the charcoal
😀👍🦌

Hey Robb I wish I was that well spoken on my channel I get nervous it's under my name
Maybe not cook the ribs in the sugary sauce. Last 15-30 minutes on the sauce

Lock steel doors open when you are in that or park doors so they can’t close especially if your drinking with assholes
I don't consider that camping in a storage container
No lime in your corona…. Will you please do a fkn taste test with corona (light) and fkn lime Robert CORONA LIGHT great video love the charcoal and fire in hut man life is good hillbilly
As long as it taste good to you, who cares, right
Good stuff man...love watching. I have a channel too. On track to 1000 subs and learning from you.
