Thanks Todd 👍 Yeah I was supprised to see the deer because my wind was blowing straight at them, but then again they probably looked at their calendar and they know the season is closed lol

Love being in the woods, but a windy day is without a doubt my least favorite. So much more enjoyable when the winds are light. I'd rather a cloudy day than a sunny and windy day. Looks like you enjoyed yourself though, that's all that matters!
Couldn't agree more! I was nervous the entire time. I even had the top of one of the trees come off less than 100 yds from my camp

Well, you had a grill so with those wind conditions you might consider a Dakota fire hole. Of course having a digging implement would help. 👍👍

Wind is what you make it! Lol. Camped a lot in the 1000islands on the water. Yup wind was an issues of sorts if you let it be. Fun challenge or sucky trip. Pick your mindset!!

Yes I do! Even when it's not windy you should always always check for widow makers. The weather can change at any moment

I wondered a first why no talking and then on a overnight outing I realized I would be the same way. I’ve always enjoyed the solitude and being left to my thoughts as well as just enjoying creating and the experience. I just adapted to watching and enjoying nature.
Apparently people were skipping the talking. He mentioned it in a previous video. I’m with you, though. I loved the insights and ruminations.
