In what world would these choices not drastically impact and direct the story, characters, dialogue, and themes? Of course we ended up with narrative design that reflects the cultural and political values of the people who worked on the game. That's the entire point of DEI hiring, isn't it? For the product to be guided by the principles of a "more diverse" set of creators? The weird part is when people try to act like there's no difference between this game and other similar genre offerings. It's completely disingenuous and dishonest. I suppose that becomes the strategy when you're trying to distance your practices from your results.

Instead, call it something in their native tongue to make it immersive with the definition we give to non binary in the real world. Make a word for it, and get creative with it.

Ahhh, no? Never had any issues with any bosses except for Melina (idk if I spelt that right ) Maybe I haven't played enough souls games but after about 1.5k hours in each, have NEVER had this happen.

Im having so much fun with the game. Sidequests dont feel like they stack up and make the game unfinishable, it manages to remain engaging while stacking loot, or progressing the story. All around a refreshing game in a drab industry

In my opinion, baldurs gate 3 is better than any dragon age but bioware had a real chance to make a comeback and the game just isnt good enough to prove that. Its not a horrible game, its not awful but its disappointing and in some ways thats worse. I'm still hopeful that they can produce another hit like they did in the past but Veilguard doesn't hold a torch to the other dragon age games.

I have a 7900GRE, 5800X3D and 32GB DDR4 3200MHZ RAM. I hit 65 frames ultra on 1080p in the game and it drops to 40fps in the settlements. The game does not by any stretch of the imagination "run well."

Honestly I think Veilguard is getting too much hate. It's not amazing, but it's serviceable. If the level design and combat weren't as good as they are it wouldn't be worth it, but it's fine. Like a slightly overcooked meal. It's fine. And I don't think Origins was actually that good. It's just medieval Mass Effect for the most part. I actually don't think any DA game was amazing. There all just fine. And that's fine.

Love the game, they just need to fix the random spawns behind you. If I understand it right it is meant to be reinforcements, if that’s the case they should just add some kind of ingame notification that reinforcements have been called. Like for example some camps have alarms, other times you get to hear the enemy near you call in for backup

It’s fascinating and sad because it’s what I wanted and expected from the next installment in Thedas after the Trespasser dlc.

We have so many kids come up to this kiosk we've got at work and try to touch it before hunting and pecking at the keys, not knowing where enter or tab or the arrow keys are, it makes me feel old and I'm just old enough to drink XD we also have plenty of adults that don't know how to type correctly either.

My game had been running great. Good fps on high settings with zero crashes with 26 hours of gameplay. Theres been a couple of bugs so far, however, with one side quest being soft locked.

I want mobile games that translate into value for paid games. Like a PoE mobile or WoW mobile mini game I can play on the bus, then get home and be rewarded in the full pc game.
