Multiplayer ties to single player. Operations are unique missions that ties to campaign. So for example very first mission is to lit some fields on fire to distract swarm of enemies. You go to retrieve scientist while other team is providing distraction by setting area on fire. Well, first co-op operation you unlock is to go as a squad with 2 other players and set that fields on fire. And it's awesome. Also what you don't see in single player - in multi you can customize your space marine. First thing I did - I unlocked Blood Ravens chapter and make myself look like one. But it does not end there. There is shit ton of chapters. Plenty of armor and weapon skins. And when you unlock individual colors and stuff you can then go and make your own armor by picking pieces and then applying colors to them. With multiplayer you use pre-made character classes and just kick each other ass. I like it too. To me game is 100% worth it and you have to check co-op. It's awesome.
Yeaaaa there's a lot of Warhammer games that do fine respecting the lore and turn out to be trash lol. Definitely hit or miss. This one hits a home run.
The crazy and amazing thing about the game and all of the battle scenes is that all the units are actual units and if you shoot you will get a hit register and you can kill them. It's not just a 2d render of a video or etc. They are real units attacking and can be killed.

I will say walking tank is more accurate than super soldier. I think they would be more super soliders ideally since they are supposed to also be fast. But this is a great rendition. Hopefully tech advances far enough that we can handle accurate space marines one day.
In the scale of the 40k universe, they're just heavy elite infantry. Imperial Guardsmen in relation, the little NPC guys, are fodder that are only threatening when they have special weapons. They have walking tanks as well, those are called Dreadnoughts. But if it were a story or a game set in only the Imperium, and you never had to fight Chaos daemons, then yeah they'd be walking tanks. What save me a lot of parrying and dodging most of the attacks. Even the swarm of Hormogaunts, you have to keep them infront of you, parry keeps them back off, catching off them keeps them back off.
Based on what I know of the first game, you have to attack constantly to keep your health up. This seems to be even more true in this game since you can get all your health that you lose back just by attacking. In the 1st, you had to execute to get health back, but now it just gives armor. I am always confuse on this, space marines are walking tanks but after reading through the first 3 heresy books they are depicted as tanks that have incredible fast reflexes and movments. Not sure how can that be translated in animation, something so heavy moving so fast.
With a combination of their enhancements and their armor, they are significantly faster than an unaugmented human. But there’s many things faster than they are, so emphasizing the durability has always been the video game compromise. If they had lore accurate speed, there would have to be enemies that would be unplayably faster than human reflexes. For the last six to nine months I always see your thoughts as other stuff you have save me money thank you I ll send a drink at Xmas 😊, I ll be getting this
People really need to stop with the whole story modes need to be 30-40 hours long.. No 8-10 hours is perfect, if you take your time and go completionist it will take you more than 15 hours for the story alone, you'll get hundreds to thousands of hours with pve and pvp so yes it's worth 70-100 bones.
It runs smooth but I am almost never above 90% gpu usage with a 7800x3d/4090 or 7950x3d/4090 system. There's definitely some kind of cpu or cache/memory bandwidth/latency bottleneck. Not that surprising with the number of ai enemies that are on screen at once.
i think we all watched people play this game before release and those concerns of clunky combat and not responsive parry system has been outright debunked. play this enough and you know this is NOT a hack and slash. there is combo's. there is quick time events there is extremely responsive parry system. BUT its also not forthcoming with its info. so the type of melee weapon you have and its block type relates to your type of parry and such. This game simply put is easy to pick up but hard to master and the combat really is a call to the old gamer phrase of " its a skill issue bro".
I know Space Marines are heavy tanks but aren't they also supposed to be super fast ? it looks like the game kept fast attacks but nerf the movements. The game still looks great.
If I ever play this game, it'll be five years from now when the PC version is at a proper rental price of $9.99. I'm not interested in leasing a license for 30 plus USD.

Parry cancels make the system unclunky, especially with hammer.
Can't wait till the game launches, 1 day
You're the first person I've seen actually pick the Stalker rifle and I must say it is effective at killing the big guys before they even have a chance to threaten you.
I would love to play this except it freezes constantly and crashes. The fps is also everywhere
Cohh's a tech priest!
Now we know
Space marine 2 is the most epic action war game ive ever seen!
The game looks fun ! Will add it to my list of games
And yeah, we now know the campaign is good until the very end!
This game simply put is easy to pick up but hard to master and the combat really is a call to the old gamer phrase of " its a skill issue bro".
this is the kind of game companies like blizzard wish they could still make
Holy Tech Priest
This videos thumbnail is A class 😂
Still waiting for official release.
I know Space Marines are heavy tanks but aren't they also supposed to be super fast ? it looks like the game kept fast attacks but nerf the movements. The game still looks great.
Bruh 💀
Yes, they can run like 50 mph in their suits. But it's really hard to make a game control well with that haha
BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!
It feels like a PS3 game. A pretty good Ps3 game, I'm having a blast.
Today i saw the little KID COhh..Not the grown up Cohh
Roberts Gateway
If I ever play this game, it'll be five years from now when the PC version is at a proper rental price of $9.99. I'm not interested in leasing a license for 30 plus USD.
Should I play the game (on the PS5)? Yes.
But my back account and multiple past due bills say no. 😞
Game looks so good
Damn man wish I could play but my potato is just not powerful enough for a good experience
