Congrats on the new channel🎉... I'm sure the question has been asked a million times, I'm just wondering what's going on with Starfield right now with you? You posted some videos and I've watched all of them... you kind of left us on a cliffhanger, last night was the launch of the new update which included new maps and a fully customizable survival experience, along with the ability to fully customize the interior of your ships... Along with a lot of other fixes. I just want to know if that was the reason why you put your starfield play through on pause or if there's another reason? If you're just calling it quits and moving on I can respect that, I just would like an answer or I feel like I'm being ignored and that makes me not want to be a subscriber. I'm not trying to offend you at all for any reason, I just want to know? Why haven't you posted any more Starfield videos? That's my one and only question.
@@JesseJamison-90 Hey there! So basically I burned myself out on it. Doing almost two full runs + other major RPGs in between (BG3/CP2077 2.0) just had me feeling that Starfield was not where I wanted to spend my time. The contrasts at the time we're simply too sharp. I do plan on returning to it down the road to check on it's progress! Most likely I'll return on the expansion to check all the changes. Hope that helps!
I think a few tips I might add: switch up your spells if you're having trouble with boss fight, it's very easy to swap between spells you've unlocked, and you can even respec for free anytime at base. Also, Blood magic is very, very good for boss fights, especially early on. It inflicts leech, which gives your basic attacks lifestyle. Finally, there's a server setting that allows you to teleport with anything, I highly recommend this if you are playing solo. There is so much running back and forth in this game, and when you have an inventory full of stuff and need to get back to your castle running across the map is incredibly tedious. It's the reason I stopped playing the game in EA, but now with that setting I'm playing non stop and love it.
Great tip video Cohh!!! Can't stress enough the whole dodge part. It might take a bit to get used to, but it will greatly improve your gameplay once you get the hang of it.
My guy, you have saved me so much time. Even after days in... Following your suggestions I've really got the private game running how I want and I'm having a damn fun time on brutal. Thank you.
I have been pouring through the VODs of V Rising on the main channel and watched you record the main footage for this video. Seeing the final result, I think it is clearly of a higher instructional and motivational value than what you can/have put together in other thoughts/tips videos in the past. Especially adding in other footage like the initial reaction to the castle re-location system.
A very important tip for gardening: while you use your general "build" function to create the garden plots like the ones seen in 14:30, the way you actually plant the seeds is different. You have to equip the seeds to your action bar like you would a weapon or potion, and then use the hotkey assigned to that spot. This is something I had to google how to do the first time I tried to make a garden and it was very frustrating for me to not learn about that directly in the game! Another tip just for fun: you can use the Deconstruction function to remove seeds from a seed bed and it will add the appropriate seed into your inventory. This means that you can harvest your tree or flower and then immediately return it to your inventory so you can reconfigure your garden's arrangement, which is useful when you get a new flower or tree seed and need to reorganize your base to accommodate it.
Loved it! The timing of the on screen pop ups was fun and helpful, I'm not even interested in V Rising but thoroughly enjoyed the video. Really looking forward to more of what this channel has to offer!!
I watched 90% of these tips live on Cohh's stream, and was so curious how they were gonna turn out in a Tips-vid on the new YT Channel. Definitely a fan so far! Like the editing and relevant cuts, plus that it's not too much or chaotic on the screen so that it's still actually helpful & informative 🙌🏼 The only thing I personally liked less was the multiple big zoom-ins on Cohh, felt a little awkward and doesn't really fit. Not a big thing, just details^^
More tips: when fighting a difficult boss that is not near s wsypoint, build a small castle with a coffin nearby. Castle sites are everywhere. This shortens time to recover your loot bag and time between retries. Don't get overly stuck on one spell build. Some bosses punish certain skills, so be prepared to swap out for something else.(Especially spells that summon. Some bosses create their own assistance by killing things, so giving them things to kill, like a skeleton horde, can make your life difficult.
I really like this video because it’s beginner friendly but it’s not just describing the first few quests of the game. For me, after fighting a few bosses and setting up my base I was a bit directionless with what to do next. There’s so much to do that I didn’t know what to prioritize. This video has really helped!!
Great video! A tip I would add to it is when setting up your game you can customize things like teleporting with items, as well as length of daylight, that can really make for a smoother experience depending on how you want to play. Explore all the different options before you even create your game world.
I dont know how i have not heard of your channel till now i have listened to your speeches in several video games, thank you for the great video man keep it up!
Amazing video. I just got to act two on solo brutal and i really wish i had heard your tips before, lol. You really said it all and then some. New subscriber!
Absolutely love this Cohh. Always been a massive fan and you were the first twitch streamer I watched. I sadly don’t have the time to watch your twitch or UA-cam vids anymore. This is perfect for someone like me, the quality of this video is incredible.
Thank you for this highly thorough guide. It completely verified my initial thoughts that while this looks and sounds cool, it is certainly not a game for me. I already have two jobs - I don't need another one. Have fun everyone!
One of the main options to check for is "teleport bound items." By default, nearly everything you pick up other than weapons and gear keeps you from using the fast travel stations. This makes a lot of sense for PVP, as it means people spend more time away from their base vulnerable to being jumped and can't return to a base under attack quickly without dropping items, but it just makes PVE servers less fun IMO, particularly if you want to build a big fancy castle that needs lots of resources from all over the map.
Tip for solo players, especially those with limited time, you can customize your solo settings to allow you to teleport with restricted materials! You can tweak a ton of settings to make things easier or harder, keep in mind the game is very well balanced for the intended progression so be wary of how much you tweak it(: 👍
Hey love watching you live and the addition of this channel is icing on the cake for bite sized information vids. Well done and keep up the good work to you and your team!
High Quality, straight to the point with effective tips for anyone just starting out. Jump cuts are fun, would love to see some more humor sprinkled in but overall 9.5/10
This video was amazingly well done. Kudos to the team who did it. When I will buy V Rising I will return here for the tips. Just too much other great games atm. Subbed and liked of course :)
First Vid, New Channel,, Get in !! Dude, this is gonna be Big. I watched your Main for tips n tricks,, this is Pure Bonus. Cheers from Liverpool Uk \\m//
Oh wow. Okay so I am happy with the regular Cohh channel, I like the show the stream of everything he did content BUT this is actually really good. The editing in the video is really good. I never subscribed to this in its previous form but yeah, okay, I'm subscribing as this is really nifty.
Great content. I put Rising on my shelf after buying it because I was waiting for it to get a little more fleshed out and now I think it's time to install this bad boy. Thanks Boss.
I just started on PlayStation and I'm already in love with this game. It's going to be a slow grind to the top for me, but these tips will be a lot of help.👍
Dude I'm relatively new to this game. I'm lol 40. I LOVE how you streamline your points. Let's just say I gotta do some MAJOR castle renovations lol. Been cheating myself the whole time. LOVE this video. Thank you for taking your time on it. VERY informative. Well f***ING done!!
love this style of video from you, Cohh! tips and tricks and tutorial videos about the different games you play will always get a view from me. side note, we need auto pull from chests asap. 😂
I really like the tip to slow things down. I started playing with a few friends, and it was a spam fest. I didn't noticed any strat for the bosses or anything, just kill them before they kill you. Then I started a solo game on the side, and I started to notice patterns, skills etc. (Like the undead boss in the Iron Mine, at some point I noticed that when he has his shield up, well, I shouldn't attaack him). When I realized that, it made the game so much easier. And I tried to tell my friends about that but let's say at least one of them is a bit... strike first ask questions later haha.
Figure I'd add my own tip: For bosses, don't be afraid to re-roll your spell selections! And customize your skills to the boss you're trying to kill. Great example: The boss that gives you the tier 2 research Study Table will spawn adds when her basic attack(not the books) hits a target. So skeletons are TERRIBLE against her, because your temporary skeletons are getting hit and spawning adds for herself that don't have a timer. Any boss that has rapid fire projectiles gets DESTROYED by the front facing shield skills. Or bring chaos bolts or corrupting skull to bosses that play keep away where you can naturally avoid their ranged attacks without defensive spells. You can respec your spell selections for free at the table you get very early. So don't be afraid to try a boss, figure out what they're all about, go home, get a tailor made loadout to counter their nonsense and go back in.
Thank you very much for the tips. Much appreciated it’s about time they brought more games out like this for the PS5. There is a large untucked resource, especially when it comes to consoles because they are few and far between with this type of game. It’s only in the past couple of months with new development in path of exile 2 that’s coming on stream. That has cross play and co-op and PVP/PVE. So if you leave your character on a PS5. If you have the same game on the PC, you can carry on from where you left Off.. plus they have different types of enemies. But I like this idea that you’ve shown us with the server development that’s new to me. And it gives a different aspect to the game. Games look complicated but at the beginning like most things there are learning curve.. especially for the beginner. The beginners need to give basic tutorial and then slowly introduce them towards the complexity of the game by doing so regardless of what the experience player or non-experience player has at least they have the foundations in which to gain the confidence. Once they have the confidence then they understand not only the game but eventually the gameplay itself and begin to enjoy it. Anyway thanks for the video. Appreciate it. I’ve pre-ordered it on PS5 already the ultimate edition. But I looked at a lot of videos so that I can make an actual proper decision not just based on trailers.. I like to look at gameplay. my time is valuable and hence if I’m spending that type of money. I believe in valuation for money. Just curious, is there a DLC coming?. And also is the map going to be updated or possibility when you characters and development or is this a standalone game?. thanks again for the video appreciate it. I have subscribed bye for now. Take care of your friends and family.
In regards to combat, I think it is worthwhile to point out that you CAN play melee (IE you don't need to make distance like Cohh suggested) but it puts a lot more emphasis on finding synergies with your spells for survivability.
this is just so good, I am one of your fans and i just happen to see the video this is so good that you create a new channel for your yt audience Thanks a lot
As far as baselocation goes, heres a tip from someone with 3000 hours in the game with 30+ playthroughs: Build your base in mid west farbane. Yeah, interesting initiative. Enjoyable to watch. One improvement I would suggest would be for Cohh to look more into the camera and less into bottom left coner, where I assume his chat window is. I know all of these videos are being made on stream, but it would be nice to at least keep up the illusion of it being directed at the UA-cam audience. It is probably a reflex at this point if not an addiction, to constantly look at the chat, but it would defintely imrove these sort of deep dive videos immensely. Cheers!
You convinced me. Just bought and started my very own run, first time on brutal 😁. But I had a lot of really great weapons and stuff and had to start another run because for some reason it loaded in dlc stuff without asking me.
To add on about the merchants, for early game if you have alot of copper coin but not enough silver coin, you can buy Lumberjack's Axes and Miner's Mace from Shady Goods Dealer to salvage for silver coins
Just a side note if no one is aware. Waygates do not allow you to use them if you have items in your inventory, so you are better to use the caves as they don't care what you are holding.
Thanks. I was considering getting this game, but all the information you gave which virtually no one else gives kept me from a huge mistake. I would absolutely hate this game. Please take this as a complement. I appreciate your thoroughness. This game just is not for me.
I like the added gameplay and notes compared to when he said those tips during the livestream. It adds more context and visual example of of the mechanic he's talking about.
If you want to keep your progress and your castle in half a year you need to play offline single player. There are server resets with the longest every 6 months. Server settings may allow to portal with all items, which is a huge time saver and a huge convenience.
Could you please tell me if it makes sense to use the "Lumberjack Axe" for chopping trees and the "Miner's Sledgehammer" for mining? As I understand, these should be more efficient tools for gathering these resources. If not, from which weapon level do they become useless?
Also, drink potions. I had to break out of my very bad hording/not using potion habit for this game. They just help you so much and can make things so much easier than it could have been.
I like the edition and ovbiously, great tips. As feedback, some titles on the screen would be nice, small text that gives a general idea of what are we talking about or what the idea of the trick/tip would be. Also, I died burnt by the sun while writing this so great advice would be to not be afk yapping in a shadowless zone 😕
Video chapters are set up and will start working once the channel hits 1000 subscribers!
So next video?

This is such a high quality video for a completely new UA-cam content creator. I see a bright future for this Cohh guy. Go get them!
LOL
Haha that’s actually good
Editing on this video is top notch. Looking forward to what else you guys come up with for this channel.

This was awesome - I haven't really been on twitch for almost a year - so have missed a lot of Cohh's content outside of random clips - this is Great!
if an NPC has a red aura, he has a blood quality of at least 90%

Love it! Will need to use this as a reference later for sure.
Zoom is a bit much, but over all is nice and contextual. Love the b-roll along side the information.
Seconding this, zoom was a bit too big, but the highlighting and b roll is excellent!
It’s what a lot of the other “popular” streamers do… the team wants Cohh to keep up with the kids I’m thinking.
Hey love watching you live and the addition of this channel is icing on the cake for bite sized information vids. Well done and keep up the good work to you and your team!

ya left out a good tip potions, I didn't really pay attention to particularly buff potions until I got into the farmlands. a massive help
This video was amazingly well done. Kudos to the team who did it.
When I will buy V Rising I will return here for the tips. Just too much other great games atm.
Subbed and liked of course :)
All the best on the new channel 👍❤️
I appreciate this vid a lot and the tips it brings forth. Glad to see this new channel, Cohh. Cheers!
First Vid, New Channel,, Get in !! Dude, this is gonna be Big. I watched your Main for tips n tricks,, this is Pure Bonus. Cheers from Liverpool Uk \\m//
lets see how this goes!
Concise, clear, informative, and all stuffed into 20 mins? Great job team.
Nice, looking forward to all the future content you add to this channel. I just started playing V Rising too so this helps a lot.

I picked this game up after seeing it on steam and seeing your stream 5 days ago. Great game and I thank you for your tips. I am about to get Iron.
Full time cohh UA-camr thanx Red! Like the new teams ideas and hope it works. Back to old cohh. Good vibes all
Great content. I put Rising on my shelf after buying it because I was waiting for it to get a little more fleshed out and now I think it's time to install this bad boy. Thanks Boss.

love this style of video from you, Cohh! tips and tricks and tutorial videos about the different games you play will always get a view from me. side note, we need auto pull from chests asap. 😂
Extremely helpful Cohh. Thank you once again for introducing me to another banger of a video game my friend!
I really like the tip to slow things down. I started playing with a few friends, and it was a spam fest. I didn't noticed any strat for the bosses or anything, just kill them before they kill you. This team definitely knows what they are doing when it comes to making a video. Love to see it.
Commented for Support.
In regards to combat, I think it is worthwhile to point out that you CAN play melee (IE you don't need to make distance like Cohh suggested) but it puts a lot more emphasis on finding synergies with your spells for survivability.
this is just so good, I am one of your fans and i just happen to see the video
this is so good that you create a new channel for your yt audience
Thanks a lot
As far as baselocation goes, heres a tip from someone with 3000 hours in the game with 30+ playthroughs:
Build your base in mid west farbane. That will make the entire progression of the game faster and more pleasant. Why? Because the return from pretty much every zone is faster to that location, by using gloomrot cave or cursed forest cave.
If you are in silverlight, its fast to travel back on horse, if you are in dunley you either go back on horse or go north and use gloomrot cave, and if you are in mortium you go north and use cursed forest cave.
The only downside here is traveling to mortium with stygians to buy legendaries.
Trust me guys.
And if you wonder why i have played so much and gone through the game so many times, I have one word for you:
PVP
Good show! Likes and comments for the UA-cam algorithm
Awesome, SUBBED. Love all your content Cohh!!
I got this on PS5 and this guide really helped me out thanks.
i just started the game a few days ago, and i have to thank you a lot. that was indeed a very helpfull video 👍
Got to support Cohh ! ❤
Excellent tips video. Just picked this game up and really enjoying this.
Regarding saving your dashes, dashes are the most important ability, and DONT FORGET to hit with your weapon after a dodge, for that 5% health recovery
If you get in the habit of switching to a spear, whip, pistol, longbow before dodging, you imbue your weapon with the dash effect and have a good range to hit the post-dash heal bomb
Cheers!
I have like 160 hours. This didn't add much, but still very helpful if I were starting today! Subbed and liked.
You convinced me. Just bought and started my very own run, first time on brutal 😁. But I had a lot of really great weapons and stuff and had to start another run because for some reason it loaded in dlc stuff without asking me.
Good luck with this new channel!
Love the be channel Cohh been a fan of yours for ages keep up the good work dude.
To add on about the merchants, for early game if you have alot of copper coin but not enough silver coin, you can buy Lumberjack's Axes and Miner's Mace from Shady Goods Dealer to salvage for silver coins
New player thanks to PS5 and great starting tips. I'll be checking back here for sure.
I like the content and the thumbnail for this video.
if you're playing solo I highly recommend you turn on in server settings to use tp and bat form with items.
Dude I just found this, the channel is a great idea and the video is awesome.
Just a side note if no one is aware. Waygates do not allow you to use them if you have items in your inventory, so you are better to use the caves as they don't care what you are holding.
Excellent video Cohh!
YES PLEASE! Loved it
Subbed - obviously! COHH!!
Great simple video tyvm and keep up the good work
Is there a way in the future for tips and other things to set markers if we want to skip right to the tip we need? On the actual video player.
There will be chapters yeah, check the top comment~
@@Starfruit73 It was before they made a pinned comment. But thank you :)
Oh right mb^^
Great video man. Just great!
This is great! Thank you good sir!
If not, from which weapon level do they become useless?
this is awesome!
Great breakdown. Respect *sub*
More Cohh 🎉🎉
Also, drink potions. I had to break out of my very bad hording/not using potion habit for this game. They just help you so much and can make things so much easier than it could have been.
Nice tips video
Such a great video!
More Cohh good! Me happy!
All the tips.
I'm trying to figure out where a tannery is lol Awesome tips and tricks video
Great tips
I'm glad Cohh ironed his shirt for the 1st video on this channel. 🤣
Can you change the difficulty and inviting others into your game later or is it a one and done decision at the beginning of the game?
Thank you for this 🙏
Cool vid! Thank you 😊
Thank you so much!!
