Petrol pump nozzle will fit in a diesel intake but diesel pump nozzle will not fit in a petrol intake. So it’s really only diesel vehicle owners who can be caught out.

Valerian Root is a better and safer alternative to Melatonin and can be purchased in U.K. Sorry, I disagree with the measuring cups being difficult to get here. They are easily obtained and I have a couple of sets I have had for years. In respect of binders - I agree our standard binders are A4 but if you look for Foolscap sized binders (Amazon or any Stationers) they should fit your paperwork.

Interesting topic. The worry is, the way this British Govt is working, they are trying to destroy our NHS. Scotland is better, but Westminster keep cutting out budget. A lot of our issues are we need to be independent and run out own affairs. Otherwise we will end up like America.

Your comment about water in the US is generally dark and moldy is wrong..... I don't know where you lived in the US, but Chicago water when I was growing up was awesome, and now in the Atlanta Metro, the water is good, depending on the county you are in. In some counties, they filter the water for some minerals and not others, which can impact the characteristics of the water.

As a Edinburgh dweller O totally get on the litter issue. I was taught to keep or bin my litter and I did the same with my kids who did the same with their kids. I my grandkids get a treat or snack outside they hand me the wrapping. Sadly I watch Scottish people throw fast food and coffee cups in the gutter when a bin is 2-3 metres away. It was never like this 20 years ago.

Pete, you can buy stick deodorant anywhere in scotland, all the supermarkets supply ,if not big dept stores lots of brands . Im surprised you didn't mention toilet paper . I think they are going to introduce toilet paper soon . Just use fish and chip paper or the daily record until then . What is this thing that is called the telephone and television? I can't wait for that to reach Scotland . Coffee beans online , you are an american. You will be on Amazon 24 hrs a day . I'm just pulling your leg . I'm glad you want to live in Scotland . All the very best. I really enjoyed your video . Big step to move to a new country . Sincerely well done 👏

I was born here but lived abroad for decades then came back and I am SHOCKED at how little they empty the bins here (every 4 weeks where I am).. It drives me mad. Plus it's such a mission to get rid of stuff and they charge too much. Now we have to pay extra for garden grass and debris as an extra tax thing. Appalling.

Temperature to convert is simple, as rule of thumb double and add 30 , for example 25 degrees would by doubled to 50 and then add 30 so it would be 80 . You be out by 1 or 2 degrees .

If you driving test is in an automatic, then your license is only for automatic. Cars in the UK are in far better condition than in the USA .Second hand car market in the USA is kept artificially high .

First thing you need to realise is.. You are NOT in the USA. The West of Scotland is one of the poorest area of the UK. It isn’t Oxford or Cambridge. I live in Renfrewshire. You are getting a ‘real’ experience of Scotland though, not the Disneyland experience that is Edinburgh and the Highlands.

Various factors at play here re rubbish: the Scottish Government has just about broken Scotland and their financial management has been appalling. But it needs to be acknowledged that Scotland has a much lower population than England, and it is spread out meaning delivering council services is more costly. If you are in Glasgow, the rubbish will be due to reduced bin collections as you mentioned, which happened over the last 5 years or so, and it's the same in rural locations too. However in Glasgow one of the main issues is foxes - it's foxes that drag rubbish out of bin and into your garden to eat / lick. They will take rubbish to near their dens and believe me, the dens are everywhere, but particularly along the rail track embankments. And discarded food wrappers from cafe's, takeaways etc are a huge attraction to them to of course! Thirdly wind, again as you say. But lastly, and sadly, people's behaviours have changed - parents seem to have stopped raising their children to not drop litter. And that combined with the proliferation of fats food / take away food rubbish, has meant a steady decline. However having travelled widely across Europe, it's the same there 😒 In respect of water; Scotland does not add fluoride to the water.

Where in the USA did you experience bad tapwater? I have lived in St. Louis and Los Angeles, where tapwater is not a problem. All other places where I have traveled seem to have good tapwater also. Yes, I have heard about Flint, Michigan but that was due to mismanagement of the water system.

Corrupt, dishonest, greedy and lazy and mainly left wing councils are to blame for the rubbish bins. But the people of Renfrewshire, Ayrshire and similar voted in these political parties like the SNP, so they're getting what they deserve. They are turkeys that voted for Christmas.

What is wrong with the water system where you lived in the US?! You may have had nasty water, but that doesn’t mean the rest of the country does. Water systems are usually a municipal responsibility so each county or city equivalent usually has their own system. Yours may have been gross, but the city/county next door, using the same water source, might have been fine. I’ve lived in 8 different states and never experienced anything like what you talked about. The worst I had to deal with was high chlorine (where I grew up) or new-to-me high mineral content a few other places. I’m glad the drinking water where you are now is good, but maybe folks back home need to work together for a better water system.

Yes there are roads in the UK that have no speed limit but they'll be on private land and not publicly owned highways. Scotland is the most likely place to find them with large estates covering considerable areas. However I can't imagine there's many that are straight enough or have a good enough road surface to be able to drive at high speed.

Yes, I'm not sure exactly this person lives, but i live near Las Vegas, and we don't have that. Gun violence happen by people who do NOT own guns legally. Criminals will find guns in the boso market. People with a criminal record will not qualify for a permit, to get a firearm. This man is all out if touch. Yes we have many guns, but if you believe what he's saying, you would think we are at war with each other. The USA is a big as Europe, and we have over 335 MILLION people, and at least 20+ MILLION illegals. The liberal, left cities run by the Democrats have more crime, more poverty, higher taxes, more drugs, and more homelessness. Guns truly aren't an issue unless you're running around criminals or one of those cities or states. Some people are just out of touch. Every single person we hang out with legally have guns, and no one at all I know have any issues. What he dies by say though is, that with all the illegals, abd liberal run cities, we do have some crimes, so close to one hundred thousand law abiding citizens who own guns, have used one to save their own life, or that of another person - so mothers shooting a criminal breaking into their home. Also, in the USA, they count police as d soldiers into the list of victims by guns. So please, do your own research abd watch where you're getting your information from. It's amazing on how many people who are out of the gun culture, abd claim to know about it. In sad too hear that a young man got stabbed, but many times, some kids may have issues with drug transaction. More likely he want walking around abd foot stabbed! I would love here if that was the case. I'm sure Scotland is safer, but remember, the USA is not even in the top 10 highest gun violence. Would you believe Denmark is higher than us?!!!
