I hope we're all wrong about what is coming up in the future. How to make awesome DIY passport photos for your kids!
Being in the freedom of America you had a very easy way to go. Hopefully others like you will find a way to pack their little things and skibidi-doo-dah their happy butts on out of here too! Hopefully the ones ranting, throwing childish fits, shaving their hair and stating they are leaving the U.S. will find a place by you so you won’t be alone in your bashing the greatest country on earth. You left,be happy and know that you no longer have a say in the interest of the United States Of America. “Wokeness”,thankfully, will phase out and no longer will be holding majority of Americans hostage to the abundant mental illness that has been inflicted. So carry on,tioraidh.👋👋
Admittedly, I have lived my life in the Pacific Northwest, and the tap water in all the places I've lived has never been dark colored or moldy smelling. Maybe Oklahoma water is not the same...
Hey! 2.5 cm = 1 inch.
Empty roads here, you can actually enjoy driving and most drivers are pretty competent, unlike in English towns that are full of people who ignore the law. Oh, yes, Irn Bru is a tutti-frutti flavour, pretty rank.
U.S. water is often dark or smells like mold? Where? I have smelled high sulphur or seen calcium & magnesium content, old pipes occasionally, or too much chlorine adde. Phoenix water smells bad due to minerals or something, but is safe enough supposedly; but moldy and dark…frequently? I think that’s bad plumbing work.
I live in Michigan and with the exception of Flint and that total disaster ( precipitated by government trying to cut corners) the water is perfectly fine. We have always had well water. It is an urban myth that the US water supply is all contaminated. Please don't add to that rumor.
Nice comparison video. Cheers 👍
Park in the Gorbals and walk over the pedestrian bridge into Glasgow Green. Ten minutes walk into city centre. No parking fees
Why is it unsafe, because it happens when you create race and class based society, leaving millions of people who are the engine of the country are left behind to fend for themselves. Seriously, the people who complain about things that really don't impact except that they don't want to see it; homelessness; hear it; crimes being committed but at the same time act as though they are not part of the problem, because they can just get up and leave; complain about their new country, imply that things should change for their convenience, and then on top of that, they are not considered illegals aliens, immigrants trying to become citizens and still their new country jobs; they are expats! 😂 Rinse and repeat!, until people wake up and realize who and what is the real problem. It's not what we have been conditioned to believe.
Sorry, but you are so wrong about the water in the U.S. I have lived in the South, the Midwest and California. The water in definitely safe and except for one place, where there was a strong sulfur taste the water was safe and tasty. Even when there was a strong sulfur taste the water was safe. People in the majority of states buy bottle water or filter there water because they are falling for ads/commercials on the television. The fact is, the states are required to provide healthy water or they are sued. Yes, there are some areas where mining or manufacturing run off damages the water (Love Canal, etc.), but this is extremely rare and those places get sued and have to pay out million of dollars. Finally, have you been to the bigger Uk cities? True, guns are illegal, but criminals wield knives, machetes, etc. Frankly, I’d rather be shote than sliced up. Sadly, with people, you get crime. As the population density increases, so does the crime. If you live in low density area, in either the UK or the U.S., crime is much, much over.
Didn’t know about the kettle thing! One thing I will say is the was you say the football team Celtic is an ‘s’ so like seltic just if u don’t want to sound so American especially in Glasgow lol. Great video might be doing the reverse of what you done and looking to the US to move
Oh, Oklahoma; everything outside of Oklahoma in the US is scary!
You used a wide brush claiming the water in the U.S. is unsafe. At least right now, that is not true. I regret to say however that your comment about violence absolutely is true, even understated.
I live in NYC and I'm sure that we could put the Scott's to shame when it comes to throwing rubbish on the street. Lmfao !!!
I like your presentation style ya fookin mad c**t. Take it easy big man 😂
That was quite amusing, very good acrually, sounds like you live just down the coast. From me , the skyline/sunsets etc. for some reason allways appear different each day. Norhern lights . Anyway, I lived in NYC for 19 years so that makes me appreciate your shows more than maybe I should . Very strong winds here in Largs, I think the ferries may have to be called off.Keep up the good work. Very enjoyable.
Hi , I’m Scottish and live in Tennessee , would love to move back . Still homesick after 32 years !
It's skooshy cream ya cunt! 😉
I find it beyond belief that Trump was even allowed to run given he tried to prevent a peaceful transfer of power in 2020..I think in any other democratic country he'd be behind bars..
It is our well rounded , sensible, sober, drug free, liberally minded, healthy eating people that does it for me.
Cool video mate, glad you are enjoying living in Scotland. Football wise, you should support the famous Partick Thistle, they are much bigger than Rangers or Celtic. You should head up to the Isle of Skye at some point, it’s great living up here👍 All the best Daddio🍺
Great UA-cam posts - keep them coming!
Thank you! I’ve got lots more coming out, fingers crossed I should be more consistent with them going forward 😂
"The Celtics" lol that's a US basketball team. The old firm football team is called Celtic and it's pronounced Sell-Tick.
Kirkpatrick MacMillan. The pedal bicycle. I used to have a LOT of problems spending Scottish banknotes in England. It's not so bad now, but It's still a big problem in Wales. The largest value Bank of England banknote is £50, but we have £100 pound notes although even in Scotland, not many places will accept them. The highest value banknote is the Titan. I think it's worth about £100,000,000 and is used by Scottish banks to lodge funds to the Bank of England.
I wouldn’t complain if I had a £100,000,000 bank note. I can deal with trying to figure out how to spend it 😂
@@peterkonradort It wouldn't even pay for a week's shopping at Sainsbury's!
@@alfiekelly5914 don’t be daft, £100,000,000 is enough to even do a weeks shop at Waitrose! As long as you don’t have any children. 😂
Einstein when asked if he felt he was standing on the shoulders of giants like Newton, he replied that he was standing on the shoulders of a giant but it wasn't Newton, it was Maxwell.
The lez zones upi should have epoke about that for toutists and the nhs
Hare irn bru, never been the same sibce it was changed
Personally I do enjoy the “new” irn bru, but 1901 is definitely tastier.
The toon is an utter shite hole now , compared to the 80s, tripping over junkies everywhere
Aye like your maws hoose
I live in Texas not far from Oklahoma where this guy is from and everything this guy says is true.
Fantastic vlog (apart from pronouncing Celtic a wee bit wrong!). I was lucky to be at an age where I learned both Imperial and metric. Glad you're enjoying Glasgow. Subscribed. Cheers.
Hi Peter. Thanks for your insight. In Scotland, is there sports betting, and if so, can one bet on American sports the same as they could in the USA?
I recommend a trip up the West Coast of Scotland. Places like Kintail, with the Five Sisters ( mountains ), over to Applecross which you can only reach in the daytime because of windy, narrow mountain roads…Up to Torridon which looks like Lord of the Rings landscape, Ullapool where there is a man called Angus Bruce ( Angus Bruce Photography ) who caters for those looking for landscape photography experience, up to beautiful Lochinver, then back down through Inverness, Fort William and Ben Nevis across to Stirling and down back to Edinburgh 🏴🏴 Apart from the obvious beauty, there are all the inventions this small country has given to the World…including the American Navy for our cousins across the pond ( John Paul Jones )
scotland, ireland, wales need to distinguish themselves from england and preserve their culture, UK is a wikipedia entry and no more, let the brits enjoy their DEI,
US actually has a lot of great water.. Its the flouride that makes it toxic..
-Public transport It's funny you think it's good. There's literally a grassroots political campaign to improve our public transport because it's so bad. - Bestselling drink In Eastern and Southern Europe there are many countries with their own local soft drink - Dobry Cola in Russia, Kofola in Slovakia, Loux in Greece, etc. - Holidays Are flights cheap, or are British trains expensive? It's the trains that are expensive. Horrifyingly so compared to trains elsewhere in Europe. Flights may seem cheap but remember you're probably on a very high salary compared to most locals (must be in fact, if you got a work visa to move here). - Architecture Glasgow only became a major city in the 19th century due to industrialisation, so it's actually not that different to your typical East-Coast US city. Almost all our old buildings were destroyed long ago - all that's left from Medieval times is 3 buildings.
My American friend tried Irn Bru and said it tasted like Love Hearts, the sweets.
I'm an expat American in Scotland since childhood which is over 40 years. I will never set foot back in the U.S while Trump is there. If it wasn't for my paternal family in Ohio I'd revoke my citizenship. Actually considering it I'm so disgusted. I'm fully Scottish now anyway.
Tuck Frump. 👍
Im still like wtf?!? Harris & Walz should have been picked. Installation of Trump and his cronies feels like we're in a wonky Austin Powers sequel. It's absurd.
What a great video. Thanks for coming to live in Scotland.
If you are in Glasgow and pronounce it Keltic, nobody will know what you are talking about, it is pronounced Seltic. I live in the Highlands and have a distillery named after the town and rural living without a car means you don't go many places.
Live in NJ here and we have to use reusable bags or purchase one also.
We have telephones and TV in Scotland. Which country invented them?😂😂😂
Keltics 😂😂😂 watch you will get drop kicked for saying it like that in Glasgow. Selltic is more accurate .
@@kevinwilson1048 Every one notices. Blood boils :)

Back in the day, prior to the UK "going decimal" in February 1971, the pound was made up of 20 shillings/240 pennies (as opposed to 100 pence as is the case now). If presented with a Scottish pound note, some shopkeepers south of the border would charge what they called poundage of six pennies, i.e. there was an informal "exchange rate" of 19/6 in English money (nineten shillings and sixpence) to the Scottish pound. Shocking!
Always interesting videos and good to see someone with a calm and balanced opinion on Scotland. Keep up the good work...
Grand Theft Auto - started in Dundee by the same guys who created Lemmings, they then moved to Edinburgh (Top of Leith Walk) and have now moved down by the Scottish Parliament building. Worked there myself for a year.
While not Scotland, GTA 1 did have 2 add-on packs for London.
Irn bru tastes like Irn Bru.
