I’m new to hypmic and when i heard the word ‘clone’ i was like “WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK” nonetheless he has very interesting lore

I saw this vid when it came out but had to come back after reading no longer human. Great analysis here is starting to climb the ranks to being one of my favorite characters (I mean he already kinda was I saw MTR are my favs but mannnn FP ain’t never missed and I just mostly love Doppo)

i dont know why but i liked the anime more than the manga (I read the manga but I still like it better)

echoing other commenters, i was a bit skeptical based on just the title (mostly bc i have trust issues & a lot of thoughts+opinions about ramuda) but this was excellently done, i really appreciate going the extra step to describe design inspirations! i am also hoping you go on to do more, but i also just admire the depth you’ve gone to in the existing videos already. really really well done!!!

As someone who was introduced with the Anime I really liked it and would call Ramuda a "Chaos Gremlin" which is why I love him so much as a character

I was so looking forward to this video cause it was needed due to the differences within the two, however your pronunciation of different characters name makes the video lose all the amazing information. You provided amazing information but stating their names rather English or Japanese is very bad.

Here are a few small changes: Two are in the final battle against Eriol. Just like the anime, Syaoran helps Sakura channel her magic, but he ends up passing out too, leaving Sakura alone. I perfer this. In the opposite case, Fujitaka does not fall asleep due to being half of Clow Reed's reincarnation. Next, Tomoyo is also not present when Sakura makes the first Sakura Card. Again, I pefer this because poor Tomoyo (and too a lesser extent, Melling, but I do like her) was such a repeated victim of the card in the anime. Maybe it's just the much higher card count, but the anime also puts much more emphasis on Sakura collapsing after making Sakura cards, making it a bit more dramatic. I feel like, bar the first time, it's glossed over in the manga. Side note, but I really didn't like the addition of the Sleep card in the anime after reading the manga, it made things too easy and convenient. Meanwhile, I perfer Nadeshiko healing Sakura in the anime. It's more meaningful and impactful, but I like both versions. I just like the "dead mum cliche" was slightly played with via her ghost, though more in the anime. Ok, I'm going to stop comparing them now and say that I love both. It was ny first true venture into manga and anime (I adored magical girls as a wain and still do) and they still hold a special place in my heart. I actively sought out the sub and manga. The Nelvana dub, DBZ, "Yu-Gi-Oh", and "Pokémon" don't count IMO, due to how Americanised they are. The Nelvana dub became a gulity pleasure because of childhood enjoyment.
