Ahh seeing so much discussion of his non-violence after listening to the Block Party drama CDs where we learn !!!SPOILERS!!! that Buster Mom is also one of the developers of the mics and was dedicated to non-violence makes it much more emotional... I think his love for her helped form that worldview and is why he is still dedicated to it, even amongst all the other insane morally questionable shit he does. Also I think it makes it more impactful and raw that Ichiro's confrontation with him in that CD devolved into the most brutal physical fight that I think the series has had in the main story.
He's a conman and dresses exactly like a conman, he's behind everything and his mc name is mastermind, he makes complicated intricate enigmas to hang out with his friends in the zoo, I love him, he's so funny I think people misinterpret Rei a lot by not seeing how self-aware he is, like he wasn't trying to reconnect with the Buster Bros, he was trying to give them a push, he is not doing that cause he wants them to forgive him, to get redemption or whatever, he cares?? about his children on his own way but I don't think he wants them to care back He's a less popular character so a video like that is definitely necessary!
