Thanks. This is my favorite anime. The more I learn about their music choices for scenes and characters, my appreciation grows. One example is that Edel's theme comes from the ballet Coppélia, which is about a young man who falls in love with what turns out to be a dancing doll.
Princess tutu helped me to start drawing. I'm no artist by any means or am I even good at drawing. But because I love ballet and anime, I started redrawing some scenes from Princess Tutu. And now I have a extra way to express myself.
I love Princess Tutu! It's my favorite anime of all time! When I first saw it on Netflix, I was scrolling to find something to watch. I noticed it but quickly assumed it was some lame magical girl anime and looked for something else to watch. When I found myself unable to find something to watch again but saw the anime among the many titles, I decided to finally give it a watch and see if it was any good. Boy, was I ever proven wrong of it! It was nothing what I had expected and proved itself to much darker and exciting than I could have ever imagined and I love it! I kept watching the series over and over again until it was eventually taken off Netflix, which did upset me quite a bit. However, I've managed to find it on the internet and started watching it again on there. However, I'm really hoping to get the DVD some time soon. I'll have to ask my parents for it for Christmas or my birthday. If I ever get that chance, I'd love to show it to my mom and best friend! I'm sure that they'd love it!
If you have Amazon Prime, you can watch it all on there :) They only offer the English dub on Prime though, if that matters to you. That might be why it was taken off Netflix. Moved onto somewhere else. I dunno. But that's where it went. Oh and Hulu.

i watched the first half of princess tutu as a kid and i was fascinated with it. i came back to it about a year ago and i watched it in its entirety. Its one of my favorite anime of all time so this video is pretty cool

I mean it’s not 100% canon but their moments are real and for Rue and Fakir, I think nothing really happens to them, they are ok and just live their lives fact: Ahiru is not originally a duck and Edel is a major villain

do you mean the art of the characters or the ballets the costumes are based on? The character art is just from the Japanese DVD covers and was also used for the disc art of the North American Blu-ray release.

One extra fun fact: in a book of fan trivia that was released for the show, it's confirmed that Fakir has romantic feelings towards Duck.

No clue. I honestly don't know why they keep taking off such good shows. I'm starting to run out of shows to watch on Netflix.
