I completely agree with the Old Foresters Barrel Strength Bourbon, I have one that is pure ethanol, not very enjoyable. Chicago Bourbon Club/Brownstone did a pick that was pretty good though. Still trying to get that Jeopson’s maple finished bourbon

was surprised to see eagle rare on the list but after thinking about it I kind of agree. It hasn't been a bottle I've reached for recently... but on the flip side, it's typically one of the more reasonably priced pours at bars/restaurants near us, so I can't quite write it off

Great video! What I love about your channel is that you always recommend great smaller alternatives to the big FOMO bottles. I've been drinking whiskey long enough to remember when Wellers were on every shelf for cheap prices and High West was an unknown and brand new offering. Many of these bottles that you guys recommended could very well be the ones everyone is chasing 5 years from now. Why wait for others to catch on when there are so many great alternatives just sitting there. Keep up the fantastic content

I'm very curious about the legality of forced bundles for allocated products. There's a NMBB store that I visit in the Chicagoland area that has all their allocated bournons bundled into $500-$800 purchases. If I want a Stagg Jr, I'm forced to buy a JWB and four more bottles. It's crazy.

If you haven’t had the Rebel Small Batch, for the price it’s really good. It’s the remaining sourced products batched together. Need to stop at this establishment next time I am in that area. Any recommendations for other stores near there?

So glad the other Benchmark products made it to Illinois , years back that Full Proof was the highlight of my trip to Indy,I walked out of their Total Wine with a shopping cart, don't know if you knew this but that District Made is distilled in Washington DC which I found interesting and I didn't know they had a rye, nice job guys.🥃

It’s a good thing this place is in Wisconsin, otherwise I’d probably be living in my car in their parking lot!

The overall volume of finished whisky is insane! Half the shelf seems like it’s been finished in some cask these days. Kind of rediculous to me. If the bourbon isn’t good enough to be drank neat, then don’t drink it!
