Looking forward to getting a bottle of Heaven hill (blue/white label bonded), Yellowstone limited 2024. Traverse City (port), and Kentucky Owl (little experience). Heaven hill is a lot like Weller 107. Tin Cup, Breckenridge 105, Russell 10year are yummy as well.
We were told that the usual allocated stuff (especially Buffalo Trace) is pretty hard to come by. However, everytime we've looked in Michigan before starting this channel we've found stuff we couldn't get at the time, like Henry McKenna 10yr.
@BondingOverBourbon I hear ya. I'm sure we have a few things you can't find but it's likewise. I was just I chicago a few weeks ago and you guys have so much Knob 12yr but I rarely see it in the mitten
@@BondingOverBourbon Michigan has a state minimum pricing system so that means there's no deals to be had even if you find something, I pay much less in California for everything because stores can go as low as they feel like it. Now if they had a price cap maximum, that would be a different story!
@ChristopherNeeme we've definitely seen some prices in MI that make us cringe, but the stuff we have found has been well under Chicago prices. I'm sure it comes as no surprise that the rest of the country is jealous of California prices and the envy that it creates.

Michigan is the worst place to hunt for bourbon/whiskey unless you go to the metro Detroit area liquor stores, i live in mid michigan and you can't find much of ANYTHING 🤔 JB Repeal batch is pretty good for a 86 proofer , should of grabbed the Devils River small batch Texas Whiskey, pretty tasty and around $25😉👍
We've had some good luck during a few trips through the state we maybe we're the outliers. We've looked at Devil's River a few times, but we're always on the fence about some of the Texas whiskies. Does it have the leather/tobacco flavor like Balcones or Garrison Bros?
Nice store and very clean looking.
Thanks for sharing
Holland is such a hidden gem. Thanks for an excellent video. I’m in Willowbrook, so your making my bourbon hunting journey easy.
Happy to help! Thanks for watching.
I absolutely love the way you guys find out of the way stores!!
Makes for fun road trips. Thanks for watching!
Store looks like they have some good ones 👍

Lot of great places around Rochester hills, MI, also Costco.
Awesome looking store.
Love the esthetic of this place. Feels so rustic and full of character.
I've already pre-ordered the barrel pick and was able to try a sample at D&D yesterday. Boy it's really good.
Thank you so much for your support! We're very happy with how this one turned out.
Right off the bat… that EW BIB 😂
Haha it's great that they have it just about everywhere
86.00 for Old F single… great price
Really good value at the price. Probably one of the best barrels I've had from OF to be frank.
Have ya'll ever tried Fox and Oden? Batch 1-4 were super good!
We have their double oak which is pretty good. Looks like we need to give their other labels a try.
It's a blend of 8-15 year old MGP done by Nancy Frelay. Super good. Tastes like Rock Hill Farms to me
Everything Nancy touches is gold. It's definitely time to try it. Thanks, Matt!
As far as EC....I only drink the C batches...those are the only ones worth it.
I've always thought that and I'm glad I'm not alone.
You should stock up on The Spaniard. In August Compass Box announced they were discontinuing it and Spice Tree
I read something online about it a few months ago so I grabbed one for now and hope to get one more later.
As a Michigander.... michigan is not a honey hole lol. A place to get lucky sometimes, maybe. At least for the hype allocations

@oggaspack7971 haha yeah the stuff is basically everywhere now in Chicago. We don't really care much for it, so we always pass it up.

Yessir! No membership on this first barrel pick, but in the future we will be offering them through our memberships.
Ok, would love to support you with the purchase. Where can i find the link?@BondingOverBourbon

Mega Bev is great. Are you talking MT Pleasant area?
@@BondingOverBourbon no not at all👍😎
