We appreciate the kind words on our Makers Mark pick! We thought it came out amazing and was definitely the best one we did. We highly recommend the Nulu Toasted Wheated. It doesn't disappoint!
I was in that part of town for work yesterday and stopped in after seeing the beginning of your video. The store was clean, nicely merchandised and two staff members asked if I needed help. I did't pick up anything but will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.
This store has an excellent selection. To answer your question about the Old Elk Cigar Blend, it's outstanding!!! I prefer it over the Magnus Cigar Blend. My wife enjoys it as well. Very flavorful bourbon.
The Benriach 12 i Just picked up at a Scotch tasting at Liquor lineup here in Vegas. I am part of a FB called Las Vegas Whiskey Drinkers and Collectors. This tasting was awesome. A must buy. The Bull Run 15 year in wine finishes are amazing. Great long finishes. Bull run are producing great Bourbons.
Jack Daniel’s single barrel barrel proof are great I always have 2-3. But the single barrel barrel proof rye are absolutely perfect. Hands down my favorite bottle. I have tried Thomas handy and saz 18 for me and my pallet it’s hands down way better than both. I haven’t found many bottles that beat it for me
That's incredibly high praise for the rye. I think that I'm inclined to agree. For whatever reason, the bourbon just doesn't wow me as much as the rye.
I've had the Benriach 10, 12 and Smokey 12 because they keep ending up at Costco for a great price. They are tempting at a low price but all 3 bottles are still sitting there mostly full. It's a 'meh' whisky in my opinion. Some of the others were good. The Royal Brackla 16, the old label Arran 10 and you are so right about those Glen Morays being on sale.
Nice store! The Hard Truth finished series is very good. The sherry and cognac are my favorites. I recommend it if you like finished whiskeys. Hard Truth has a blend of all 4 of their finishes now. I prefer finished ryes over bourbons. Cheers
That Hard Truth PX Sherry sounds delicious. I love the JDSBBP, I've not had the rye. The Journeyman Not A King sounds interesting. I love their Corsets Whips and Whiskey.
The rye is definitely worth checking out, especially during the colder months coming up. Love the Corsets Whips and Whiskey, too! It's such a flavor bomb.
I prefer the jd rye. The regular drinks a lot hotter at similar proofs imo. The rye drinks a lot lower than it’s proof and is delicious. Wish they were readily available in Massachusetts.
Had to add that Springbank is significantly better than Talisker as is Longrow, Hazelburn and Kilkerran which they also own. Talisker is good but Springbank is the best distillery in Scotland and maybe the world. Just look at the OSWA awards that just came out which are voted on by the people. They never lose.

Thanks for watching! We're excited to grab the Nulu the next time we go back.

They have a few surprising items there that we haven't seen in quite a while. They're definitely worth visiting from time to time.
Nice place

Thanks for the feedback! We'll have to go back to get it soon.

That's a bummer about the Benriach. I keep meaning to try Arran, but I can never find them at a bar.
Check those James e Pepper 1776 bottles for the ones distilled in Kentucky, very good for around $30 👍😉 Cheers 🥃
That's what we hear. We always either get distracted by something else or just plain forget to grab one 😅

Sounds very tasty! Thanks, Russ.
Great video guys. What's the name of that rice whisky again?
Thanks for watching! Fukano 14 was the one we called out on the shelf.
Picked up that Distiller's Cache 12 year recently for $38. You mentioned it in a previous video. Thanks for putting it on the radar.
$38?!?!? Holy crap, I'm jealous! I've never seen it before at that low of a price. Now, that is a truly rare find!
JT MELECK is the best rice Whiskey.
We absolutely love it, but we still think that flavorwise it has nothing on Fukano 12 or 14. They taste super dusty and woody.
@BondingOverBourbon need to find that

That's kinda what I learned back on. The rye always seems just a lot more complex in comparison.
OGD 16 would have came home with me 👍👍😎💯
😎

Sounds like it's time for me to revisit it soon.
