Great video! What I love about your channel is that you always recommend great smaller alternatives to the big FOMO bottles. I've been drinking whiskey long enough to remember when Wellers were on every shelf for cheap prices and High West was an unknown and brand new offering. Many of these bottles that you guys recommended could very well be the ones everyone is chasing 5 years from now. Why wait for others to catch on when there are so many great alternatives just sitting there. Keep up the fantastic content
Thanks, that's exactly what we're trying to do! Thanks for watching and being able to see our vision for what value we can bring to WhiskeyTube. We always appreciate your comments and support.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the Wheel Horse! After I opened mine, I brought it to a bottle share and I did not come home with anything left!! Absolutely love 1910 vs Woodford DO and you know my feelings on the Benchmark line! Great content and spot on!
I think my favorite part about your channel is that it's really cool to see how aligned up our pallets are. I felt the same way you did on almost every single bottle you described (besides Mary D bc I never had her before) in this video. Another great video! I'll see you Saturday!
I completely agree with the Old Foresters Barrel Strength Bourbon, I have one that is pure ethanol, not very enjoyable. Chicago Bourbon Club/Brownstone did a pick that was pretty good though. Still trying to get that Jeopson’s maple finished bourbon
Great video! I feel the same about Blanton's, Starlight Cigar Blend🤮, and Woodford DO. I've been looking for that Wheel Horse Cigar Blend!😲 I keep striking out whenever I think I've finally found it. Keep up the great work! 🥃
@BondingOverBourbon I'm newer to bourbon as a hobby/interest and you guys being local Chicagoland has been super cool :) any particular local fests/events to keep an eye out for?
@AThousandSons1 glad we can help you grow your collection. Check the Binny's website regularly to check out the store events that they do. Some are crazy big!
was surprised to see eagle rare on the list but after thinking about it I kind of agree. It hasn't been a bottle I've reached for recently... but on the flip side, it's typically one of the more reasonably priced pours at bars/restaurants near us, so I can't quite write it off
We absolutely agree with you, and you bring up a really good point. We may just have to enjoy this one at a bar every once in a while instead of at home.
I need to pick up a wheel horse. That Woodford DO is pretty good in an Old Fashioned. I’ve heard great stuff about Benchmark also. Thanks for sharing. Great review. That Ben Holiday is a good one to. Cheers🥃🥃🥃
Wheel Horse is one of the better value brands on the market right now. We haven't had Woodford DO as an old fashioned, but you're basically the authority on that cocktail so we'll give it a try. Thanks for watching!
I'm very curious about the legality of forced bundles for allocated products. There's a NMBB store that I visit in the Chicagoland area that has all their allocated bournons bundled into $500-$800 purchases. If I want a Stagg Jr, I'm forced to buy a JWB and four more bottles. It's crazy.
Bottle shop is live! Another wave of items are being uploaded and will be available soon.

Damn! I mean, it's crazy good value! We're so happy to have it in our collection.
Thanks for watching, Tony.

Love to hear that your palate matches ours! I knew we liked you for a reason 😉
But seriously though - try that Mary Dowling before it's gone!

We're rooting for you to find it!
Eagle Rare is a fav for me but I really only reach for it in spring and summer months 🥃🦅

Thanks for watching! Keep asking your store owners about incoming store picks and you're bound to find it eventually.
Website looks great! The Ben Holliday and the Mary Dowling are on my list. Have a great holiday weekend.
Thanks for watching and checking out the site! Happy Thanksgiving!
Just picked up your store pick it is EXCELLENT!
Amazing 🙌
Thanks for the support! We're very glad that you enjoyed it as much as we do.

Truth
I totally agree on the Woodford double oaked. Disagree on the Old Forester 1910.
Are you not a fan of 1910?
I enjoy the Wheel Horse Cigar Blend as well. Easy drinking bottle that disappears too fast.
Couldn't agree more! We'll have to try to use a lot of discipline.

I’ll have to give Jeppson’s a try. Thanks guys!
Thanks for watching! We hope you're able to find some soon.
Great video! I finally tried the sample of your Jeppson's pick. It was really good. Need to check out more offerings from them.
We're glad you enjoyed it! They have some really great releases and an awesome single barrel program.

Hey buddy I just ordered from Atlantic.
Cigars need to look into them
I'll check it out 🤙
I enjoyed this video. I also checked out the bottle shop. Easy layout, fair prices for sure and you have quite a few on there already.
Thanks, Tom! I worked very hard on making sure we had a robust selection of options for reasonable prices. I'll be adding more as we go.
Thank you, some good recommendations!
We hope they help you out! Cheers!🥃

That's insane! I've heard of some bundling, but never anything like that.
May I ask a dumb question? What is a NMBB store? Thanks, I'm fairly new to this and truly don't know what it is.
A large retail chain or store (Binny's/Total Wine, etc) that doesn't require a membership like (Costco/Sam's Club does
@@BondingOverBourbon Thank you
Hard pass on all Benchmark. I just don’t get it.
They might not be perfect replacements, but they're at least a more affordable and attainable option in a rapidly inflating market.
