Great store and video! The 15 Stars brand is outstanding, I tried several of their offering at this year's KBF. I noticed a bottle of Old Ingram on the shelf. Don't sleep on that brand. I picked up a couple of their offerings this year, another very good bourbon company. Interesting to see Fortuna on the shelf. I thought was only available in Kentucky.
We've tried the blue label from Old Ingram a few years back, and we weren't crazy about it. We'd be happy to revisit and see if our palates have changed.
Let us know how the RY3 is. Every one that I have tried has been very good. You also showed Field & Sound bourbon at around the 4 minute mark. This is an excellent grain to glass distillery from Long Island, NY. Everything is grown on the island and even the byproducts of distilling are then sold to the local wineries. I've tried all their bottled in bond products and they are great. Being near the ocean gives them an extra maritime character you sometimes get in island Scotch. They are reasonably priced too at under $50. Highly recommended
Nice selection and pricing. I visit Hopkinsville, KY for work and drive by the Casey Jones Distillery every trip. Have not tried any of their offerings. May need to stop next trip.
The overall volume of finished whisky is insane! Half the shelf seems like it’s been finished in some cask these days. Kind of rediculous to me. If the bourbon isn’t good enough to be drank neat, then don’t drink it!
Skip the Cardhu. It's the backbone of Johnnie Walker Red and it tastes like watery flowers soaked in ethanol. My bottle of the 12 year became a mixer for Rusty Nails. If you are looking for a JW Speyside single malt try Mortlach. For other Speyside single malts I would look to Benromach, Aberlour, GlenAllechie since you like Glenfarclas and Glen Moray. Tamdhu is very popular but it tasted like the Temu version of Macallan to me. I have never had Benrinnes because I've never seen it but that is also very popular.
Fair point. Might be worth checking out at least every once in a while when you need to stock up. It will give you access to lots of goodies for their monthly raffles.
It was really hard not to! We bought a lot of stuff off camera, and we're being offered end of year BT stuff at a different store, so we're trying to be good.
@@BondingOverBourbon Benromach 10 or Glenallachie 12 year old would be good bottles as well. Though not sure about the price or the availability in the US
RY3 is distributed in Illinois, cork n keg liquors in yorkville, Illinois has multiple store picks of them as well as shelf stable bottles
That's good to know! Up until now, we haven't really seen it anywhere that we've gone.
Also Gold Eagle has it
Haven't been there in a minute. Thanks for pointing that out!
Go to their other store in Racine on Washington great owners and fantastic barrel picks the Oak Creek store is my local stop 🧂🥃🇺🇸
We plan on making the trip to the other locations hopefully pretty soon.
Hey not so loud about Woodmans. That's my little secret.
It’s a good thing this place is in Wisconsin, otherwise I’d probably be living in my car in their parking lot!
🤣🤣🤣 same
Picked up a peerless Dbl oak there couple weeks ago for around 80
Nice! That's a pretty good price for it.
Driftless Glenn doing a great job these days I love their cask strength ryes .
I saw a couple bottles on the shelf considering it's a Wisconsin distillery I figured they might carry more.
I live in oak creek LETS GO!

I saw a few Southern Star bottles on the bottom shelf, their cask strength Wheater and High Rye Bourbon are Excellent 👍 Distilled in NC too. Cheers 🥃
We absolutely love Southern Star after our trip to Raleigh. We're happy anytime we can find it closer to home.
That is one heck of a store. Wish it was closer.
Finding an excuse to plan a vacation should be easy 😁
I never see a Casey Jones. I really want the Red line collection also
They have a ton of it up in Wisconsin. Let us know if you need any help.

That's really cool! We'll have to pick one up soon.

We absolutely love their Cane + Corn release. It's pretty damned delicious 🤤
RY3 has got my attention 🤔 Have y'all tried Teeling Single Grain or Powers Johns Lane? Both are delicious Irish whiskies.
I *think* I've tried both of those at some point, but it was quite some time ago. Might be worth it to revisit.
Wow that store looks awesome
It truly is! Hope you're able to make it up there sometime.
I would have bought 2-3 of teh pepper decanters
We have a few stockpiled already. Otherwise, we would have done the same 😂
They are tasty!

Some people like their cucumbers better as pickles.
I need to pick up a 15 star also 😂
Let us know if you need help grabbing one.

Hahaha, I appreciate the Temu comparison. This is incredibly helpful, thank you!
Great video! Might be worth the ride.
Absolutely worth the trip! We'll definitely be going back soon.
@@BondingOverBourbon I'm on the far SE side of the city. Right on the IL/IN State Line. So it's a bit of a longer ride for me.

Good prices on their Allocated bottles
Crazy, right? All of their raffle bottles are for MSRP as well.
Surprised you didn't grab the Heaven's Door 10 year Rye for 50 bucks! I grabbed a Calumet 16 there a few weeks back for 99 bucks.
It was really hard not to! We bought a lot of stuff off camera, and we're being offered end of year BT stuff at a different store, so we're trying to be good.
Cardhu 12 is not great in my opinion. If you want to try a good Speyside scotch, go for Glenfarclas
Already love Glenfarclas, but don't love the price. Was hoping for a cheaper option

Very good price for the James E Pepper Decanter Bottle, $50 🫣👍💯😋
The best we've ever seen
