@@BondingOverBourbon I saw John J Bowman on the shelf in the video. Sadly, thery are all gone. Plenty of Port Barrell, not that it's a bad bottle. I guess I got on the hunt a little too late.
I go here when visiting my parents and this is the best selection they've had in a while! They've always been worth stopping in at, but this is a major, major step up since I was last in there about 8 months ago. Prices seem to have stabilized a lot too. Never knew there were handles of Jim Beam 7 year, Love that they have the entire Benchmark line. I've never seen a 1792 Full Proof store pick from them, nor a Four Roses single barrel barrel proof. They've never had a recent Bardstown Disco either. Super surprised to see so many BEP and Heart Collections on the shelf (even though I'm also not a Maker's fan). I'll be in town this weekend so I definitely need to stop in now! Fingers crossed it still looks like this! They do always have Lucky Sevens, Joseph Magnus, and Calumet on the shelf for some reason. Just a weird quirk of the store.
Looks like a great store with some great prices and selection. I see what looks like an Old Forester SB Rye for 200 bucks though which looks out of line with the rest of their pricing. Still with the Disco 12, the Bowman SB, MM Heart and some other great stuff it looks like an amazing store.
Great video. Little shops like that are gems of the community! Nice to see disco 12 on the shelf but that price point is always a tough one. Best price I've seen GTS for in a long time! Looking forward to the next video!
That is a really good store, some allocated bottles are pricey, but everything else is not too bad. Didn’t know they had that Bowman Single Barrel, so I might go pick that up tomorrow. Came here with my son a few months ago, I left with a couple of bottles he got a free lollipop.
Vesey Bourbon is from Charleston Distilling in Charleston, SC. The bottle itself is really cool. The juice inside is another story. I have tasted store picks which are pretty good, but their regular store offerings are a no buy for me, unfortunately.
We haven't been able to grab any 101 SiBs yet. Yamazaki is our preferred bottle as well - so much more tropical fruit complexity compared to Hakushu which feels more scotch driven.
No worries! The way we see it, at the end of the day, it all boils down to preferences. Not every person is going to like every style of music, but the people that enjoy our videos get our sense of style and what we're going to. We'd much rather build a community than throw a wide net to get everyone.
Hibiki cherry for $200 is nuts to me. The KC BourbonXRye was launched as a limited release for the year, but I'm sure they'll expand it if there's success.
@@BondingOverBourbon Hibiki Cherry nuts as in "nuts" cheap or "nuts" pricey. I actually want to buy it but $200 for a special bottle seems wrong to me when a regular Hibiki is 80 at Costco. the bottle is nice though.....
I don't watch a lot of hunting videos but your camerawork and pacing here is about the best I've seen for seeing the bottles and prices.
Thanks, we really appreciate that. Not showing prices was our biggest complaint about bourbon hunting videos, so we decided to do it ourselves.
Yeah he's a snake charmer he's the best. I love his videos. I'm glad someone else picked up on it. He's only getting better !!!!!!!
I see a bottle in the video that I had my eye on...thank you!
Happy to help! Which bottle did you find?

@SerbFromTheLeft gotta be quick these days, especially with how many people see these videos
I remember the very first time I discover this store, I found a Fortaleza Anejo. It's a unicorn now. Best purchase ever made

Seems like we showed up at just the right time then. Very happy with how the video turned out.
Love the video. The selection is great. Keep putting out great videos!🥃
Thanks so much, Kutlass!
That is a clean and organized store. Prices weren’t too bad also. Good video.
They used to be a little more all over the place. Glad that it looks like they've stabilized!

Liquor and slot machines…..interesting mix! Good hunting!
I don't know if they've always been in the state, but as we travel more, we're starting to see a lot of places like that, but way smaller.

The disco series won't be on our radio for awhile due to the pricepoint. I get that people love it, but we just can't pull the trigger.

The owners are really nice people. I'm glad they had something for your kid, too!
Springbank 10 just hanging out on the shelf Wow

That's a bummer. Thanks for the feedback!
I prefer the Wild Turkey SB over the Russells SB and Private Barrel from woodmans. Just got my EC toasted rye as well. Yamazaki 12 all day.

My local liquor store just did the first ever single barrel store pick of the beautiful and the damned old orleans. It’s damn good
Can you tell us a little bit about it?
Dang that's a little honey store there.
Truly something special in a small town setting
Great video, the music on the other other hand...
Thanks for the feedback. We'd love to hear something more constructive. What kind of music would you prefer?
@@BondingOverBourbonPerhaps do the next 5 videos using different music each time and solicit for which people prefer.
We use different songs and styles of music in every video
You do? My bad, I guess I haven't noticed. Carry on!

Campfire High West is all over West Coast. Hibiki Cherry around $200. Knob creek BourbonXRye a limited release?

@dominiccampos7297 I guess technically both meaning of nuts apply here.
