Love Planet Fitness Been Goin For 5 Years Now
How many days a week did you do Orangetheory?
I'm an avid, high intensity runner and have been for many, many years (average about 7:30/min mile). I also weight train for 60-90 minutes every other day. I just recently incorporated the stairmaster into my routine and I'm blown away by the results I've seen in just the first not even two full weeks!
Finally an Honest review!! lately I went on a 24hr trial and the gym was literally dirty, weights were un organized etc. took a friend the other day with me to Planet fitness she like it.
I’d argue that the new version of content creator-type feederism without an individual feeder is driven by anonymous viewers with the same motivations.
Thank you for covering this serious and deadly practice. ♥️ mm
The first time when I saw you I thought that u are a hollowed actress 😅
The video will be Attractive if u say Free Palastein 😊❤
no
@ why!!! U should to support oppressed people
I go to PF and it is well worth it to me!
How often did you go?
Trying to watch your video and like all other videos I cannot get through it without that damm SYMPLER commercial!!! WTF?? I am tired of seeing that dude with southern accent and that beard that needs to be trimmed. SMH
I’m gonna look for it
I go at midnight, and it is hardly busy lol
Planet fitness is the worse gym around I got sent home because my water bottle was to big i canceled my membership on the spot
You forgot the 1950’s . After the war people gained weight.
I consumed probiotics for my eczema for 1 month and accidentally lost almost 3 kg??? Is that easy without going into strict diet?
I had an apple mom. But my dad and his family did the body shaming. I’ve been dieting since I was 8.
nice video, im a legit feeder. sometimes a feedee. idk... but for me... feederism is like a mental sick... and yeah, i spend alot of money with it.
Mama needs Christmas money.. hit me up 😅😅😅🍔🍕🍟
I've worked out in power gyms, while I was a Tournament Softball player for Team Worth. Now I work out here at Planet Fitness. Convenient get a great workout.
There are big problems in the west amongst the people. Money makes people do questionable things and it’s quite sad to see Jelly doing such things.
So I appreciate that you went into creating some necessary distinctions in this video. Such as the "feederism" is more or less a spectrum. There are extremes. Unfortunately most people only know of it from the more extreme adherents and place a great stigma on it. I can also appreciate that you looked into some of the academic literature on the topic. But it may have served well in fairness and charity to have talked with some members of the community. Colloquially the general public, and some of academia (not all because quite a few have interviewed members of the community) refer to it as feederism. However adherents and the community at large refer to it as feedism. There are many in the community that do actually aim to give support so as to avoid those power imbalances. But like any group or community there are individuals and agents who are unfortunately abusive. Both for feeders and feedees. I can say that from experience. Although I should note that abuse from a feedee is typically rarer then it probably is with feeders. You have been careful, but at the same time somewhat careless. There are plenty within the community who are philosophers, lawyers, and academics who do engage in critical thinking about these topics. Many have created and established rigorous systemic moral and ethical frameworks around it. I am just disappointed that you ultimately didn't engage with those points of view. Yes what you do state are genuine concerns. They should be discussed and debated. Unfortunately you didn't do much to further the discussion as someone from the outside looking in. Just seemingly are capitalizing and furthering the stigma that surrounds many of us in that community. It serves no one well to be overly reductive on these points. Granted its a pretty vast subculture so I don't begrudge you not knowing on the many intricacies surrounding it. But there are plenty of resources online from this community, from Tumblr to the forums.
All anyone needs to know is that everything involving this fetish in steeped in ILLNESS. Those who have the disease of obesity with mental disorders that leads them to be addicted to food and ultimately groomed into this fetish, and the individuals who derive xesual gratification from feeding someone until they are bedbound. NONE of it is sane, or safe in any capacity. If a stigma exists surrounding this community, it's for a very good reason.
Very insightful video.
Stay far away from this place.
My parents were raised around/after WW2. The absolute opposite of almond moms. But not less harmful.
are they open 24hrs
Someday I’ll join Planet Fitness to give it a try
What size did u get?
My tips towards sustainable weight loss is to firstly realize its a life style change honestly Step one. Spend a month eating at maintenance. Figure out the amount of calories your body needs to just maintain your weight. For most people this is going to be technically a calorie deficit since its less than what you were eating before. Use this time to learn about healthier food swaps and increasing foods that are high in protein, itll come in handy later Second month start working out. Whatever exercise you like and enjoy. It doesnt matter. Just spend the month getting into the habit of regular exercising. Try to increase your step count. 10k steps is arbitrary but its a great round number to aim for. Work on staying hydrated Third month. Small calorie deficit 100-200 calories. Keep exercising doing what makes you happy to move. Eating and drinking to fuel your body. Sleep will be very important! Fourth month consider adding in weight training and cardio. Set non scale fitness goals for yourself. I wanted to see my arm muscles pop. Ive been a long time runner but i wanted 10 miles before work to feel like a casual thing for me and not like an effort Fifth month and beyond! Keep it up. Occasionally increase deficit for a few weeks. Then go back to maintenance. Continue to increase fitness goals. Look for other people and communities with similar goals to keep your motivated and accountable
god stop. obesity is the killer, and it's rampant because of processed food and massive portions. at least 'almond moms' are TRYING to be health conscious. a small handful of almonds has like 160 calories, which is a good snack. we should absolutely not steer toward 'less restriction'...because most people would opt for junk food. sorry, but this is a misfire to me.
I hate almonds 😂
I just got a meme we ship with pf I was expecting to see people having sex with the machines, it’s good for beginners
Raised by almond parents and still fighting Anna in my 40s.
My mom put me on a diet where i could only eat grapes and water for a week. I was 13. Then they were shocked at how i have an ED.😂
Planet Fitness continues to charge me after I went in and cancelled my membership. I cancelled my membership on 6/14/2024 and have been charged the monthly fee on 6/17/24 and 7/17/24. I am not disputing the 6/17 charge, but the 7/17 charge is purely fraud. I have no reason to believe you will not continue to charge me. I am disputing the 7/17/24 charge and any further charges by Planet Fitness will be flagged fraud. I have filled complaints with the BBB and the Federal Trade Commission. Note that I went in person to the Decatur Illinois Planet Fitness to cancel and have a copy of the cancelation paperwork. When I called about the 7/17/24 charge, the Decatur Illinois Planet Fitness blew me off and hung up on me. I will continue to explore options against Planet Fitness.
just pull up with an AK
Strengthening the smaller stabilising muscles is so important especially as you get older, everyone should be doing a weekly class like this, it looks good, I’d love to try.
I just hate when architecture like things stars being established in older neighborhoods with architectural charm. These buildings leave neighborhoods and cities unrecognizable and aesthetically unpleasing! The people who make these buildings don’t have respect for a city or areas character!
I use to build homes and they are becoming more hideous by the day.. Cheap, Cheap, and too damn expensive
LIKE
The other comment I have is that replacement home and fixer uppers raise the value of the home and the property which raises the price of the home but also of the neighboring homes. If you are a homeowner next door, this is a good thing. A rising tide lifts all boats. As a person who has built up a lot of equity in my homes by buying and holding, I don’t see these trends as “destabilizing” which is a very negative implication. We got in to housing mkt in 2001 with a VA loan 0% down, put money in to our mortgage with no home upgrades and have made significant equity increases on two homes.
OK how can you say all this and not mention chip and Joanna Gains and their show Fixer Upper? Didn’t they put this style on the map? I among many was a huge fan of the show and her style but now I see a bit of the error of their ways. To be fair they went in to this to redeem homes rather than replace them and they do country homes and not just suburban homes. I give them credit for turning salt box home into something fun. And their focus is on interiors not exteriors. All that being said I agree with what you are saying, but I think some of it is a style phase which will evolve. And the big boxy homes are definitely replacements. And the market drives this ppl don’t want to buy small two bedroom tight homes with little living space, galley kitchens, small closets and bathrooms. It’s not desirable to live in and there are so many apartments that offer better. My conclusion is that the design of the interiors has improved for livability in most homes, while the exterior style has suffered. Also housing prices are insanely high now, new homes built are going to go back to simplistic cookie cutter design just to be affordable to speaker’s generation. When ppl make design choices for home they build, they choose interior details - flooring and such.
The new homes you showed are certainly a welcome trend compared to the typical new home style for the last two decades or more when huge attached garage doors became the main feature of the front of the home. What is another major "ugly" feature that totally ruins the sense of neighborhood and community? Super-wide curbed streets dictated by zoning regulations which require that fire trucks can make u-turns on the streets in a subdivision.
I, too, am pissed off, but to be completely fair, these are nothing, and I mean nothing, compared to the horrible ticky tack new build houses in the UK. 😞
My mom was the opposite. Back in the 80’s she made us eat all our food before we could leave the table. She would say “people are starving in Africa. Think “We are the world” era and mentality. I would feel GUILTY if I wasted food. Till this day I struggle with not over eating and wasting. This message stuck with me and I struggle with my weight.
Great video, very helpful.
Girl you just made me want to go back to OTF
I think waiting a couple minutes before deciding you’re still hungry is a good one. It does take a minute for your hormones to tell you you’re full, especially when we inhale our food like we often do in the States. Also, I’ve heard this phrase directed towards parents who don’t let their kids have sodas or junk food which is totally valid. It’s not even always about their weight, but those foods are processed as hell and they’re highly palatable so kids and teens will eat way too much of that stuff and get no nutritional value. Eating unhealthy food is bad for everyone, so I struggle seeing the difference between an almond mom and a parent who wants to instill healthy eating habits in their kids
Can you do a video about why you left Orange Theory and what you are doing now for your workouts?
My neighborhood went through this. It was a mid 1950's starter home. The land value went through the roof so this got replaced with McMansions. The original houses weren't great looking. The replacements are often very ugly and don't fit even with each other. New neighborhoods have really always been the same. Only the fashion changes. 1970's split levels or 1980's colonials. They all looked the same when built. If you like the style that's great. If you don't...
Criticizes beige houses sitting in a beige house.

I have a mom who isn’t too fit or thin, but she insists I work out every day and all day. Even during the summer. She limits how much I eat and she never lets me have cheat days. There have been many days where I would think of starving myself to lose weight. It’s gotten bad as to where I would rather sleep than eat.
She might be trying to live her life through you, just know that you are a different person from her. Just bc she has an idea of health and skinniness doesn’t mean that has to be your idea of it. Take care of yourself and give yourself the (unconditional) love she might not be able to give you
