Alternative to smacking against a wall ,please
IYTW's are SO GOOD with penny weights like these. They saved my shoulder health after a basketball injury. Still deal with Impingement for Golf, but when I'm religious with these they take away any and all discomfort

@@jasonwills6694 appreciate it! Absolutely! Definitely one of the most important muscles when we talk about loading the hip and lateral stability. I will make a video talking more about it in detail and what moves to incorporate. I appreciate the idea.

Big fan of your golf gym workouts. Following along keeps my upper body strong and stable. I just need some exercises for the „knee“ stability as I just recently experience problems (I guess the meniscus due to the rotation in the golf swing). Would love to see a dedicated workout that helps to protect the knees and make them stronger. Keep up with the great content

Completely agree with the speed sticks alone, do not maintain balanced speed gains. I do still use them, but along with strength and flexibility work including switching from club speed to ball speed then back…

any exercises for those of us who don’t have access to gym equipment?
Love the workout. I think with that first exercise really focusing on the trail foot pulling and lead foot pushing can really accentuate the ground reaction forces under tension while working on rotation. I've done that last exercise like you demonstrate but also changed the plane of the arms to horizontal to hit the core differently. I've also added lowering the attachment point and pulled through to the follow through from roughly the impact position up to almost a full finish.

Alex, great excercise. Do we do this on both sides, or is just the one good that matches our swing (like you demonstrate for a right-handed golfer)?

Great workout!!! This is what I need. I'm 45 and have definitely seen my speed diminish. I've tried to do some speed training and have found my body doesn't really like it. A better foundation may be the antidote.
@@industrialpalletworx3548 Yes exactly. A lot of people try the over speed training and get hurt because the body can’t handle it. Build a bigger and more efficient engine and you will be more capable of speed.

Hey Alex, pretty new to your workout and enjoying it. I’m 65-year-old golfer that’s in pretty decent shape . I do have a knee issue. I was wondering if there’s exercises you could recommend that help that can knee-issues to strengthen it i.e. loosen it, etc. Thanks
@@tomroche2937 I can do a video on knee health but the key is going to be making sure that glute medius is strong and stable. That muscle alone stabilizes the hip, knee, and ankle. It will help a lot with general lateral stability as well. I have a couple different hip and glute series on UA-cam

Alex, love the videos! Would you be able to do a video on a dynamic golf warm up that can be done in the parking lot, maybe with some simple bands or little-to-no equipment? It's incredible to me that the vast majority of golf courses are still old school and don't have a fitness facility or area to warm up and prep for sport. This coming from someone who deals with a tricky lower back. (Maybe this is something you've already done, if so I would love to be pointed in the right direction.) Thank you!

I sincerely appreciate your videos Alex! You've provided a wealth of information and a nice variety of exercises for me to add to my workouts. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us! Between your exercise videos and me devoting time to golf practice my overall health and golf game has been improving and I love it! I've actually had to club down as I am getting a little more distance with my irons and hybrids. Not a big hitter by any means, but getting better!
