No. because it has been edited and therefor covered under fair use.
Doesn't mean they can't claim copyright.
***** He can fight the claims back and win. The work does not take away anything from the original videos, he did not stream them entirely, they have been chopped up quite considerably and been transformed into a new thing. Which is what fair use is.

I was thinking the same thing, but then I realized he makes all his own music so he probably doesn't spend as much time as I do scouring Kevin's site. ;) NEW CHALLENGE: make a song using only samples from Kevin MacLeod's tracks!

I don't know Kevin Mcleod, but I do know that loads of educational UA-camrs use his music.
Jess: Sure, but he does keep up with UA-cam changes and one of the big things was in 2015, when one of MacLeod's tracks were used by someone who just put wind chimes on top of it and then used it to auto-claim every single Kerbal Space Program video out there, because the same track was on that.
It was the earliest case of UA-cam admitting their bot is not so great and caused them to put in the whole "we'll hold on to your money instead of sending it to the claimant until this is resolved" policy.
That's one of the reasons MacLeod is so big today!

THIS IS AWESOME, not just the music but also the appreciation for "smaller" UA-cam, just general human uploads. Also, if no one else has said it, I feel compelled to point out the Taco Music is actually one of Kevin MacLeod's creative commons tracks, pretty sure it's called "Sneaking Weasel".

"Lost Woods"! One of my favorite songs that Andrew has made!
It's the song Lost Woods off of his spring album. I think it may be one of my favorite tracks of his. It's such a great take on the Lost Woods theme from The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time
You should definitely do more of these - this was super cool! I'd say stray away from things that are already music, in an effort to focus more on sounds of the tube rather than already made songs, but that's just me.

i used to do this thing called the iron chef of music, where someone would give us a sample of something really weird and non-musical, like a baby quietly eating, and then we had an hour to make a song out of it. I was bad at it. but you are good :)

he was using ableton. you could try out other ones like Logic X Pro or FL Studio too
I suggest using reaper, it's a free daw but you can use it after the trial I believe, if you wanna just start on this music making in general.

how are you able to film for more than 12 min at a time with the Canon 80D ?
My experience with Canon D-series cameras are a 12 minute limit.

If you're only getting 12 min from the 80D it's most likely your SD Card. You need something with a higher writing speed. Should be able to get a solid half hour minimum.
I have the 60D. And apparently, according to Canon the company "a photo camera isn't meant to be shooting video, so the limit is 12 mintues". At least on the 60D.
But yeah, I know about the 'better SD card' thing. Was the first thing I tried.

In the time "4:20" there are 4 characters, and there are 3 syllables in the word "four twenty". If you do 4+3=7, and 7x420=2940. 420+7=427. 2940divided by 427= 11.902834. 11.90284 rounds up to 12. The number 12 is a multiple of 3, 2, and 1. The word "illuminati" has 2 'L's in a row. And the illuminati sign has 1 eye in the middle and 3 sides. ANDEW HAUNG is illuminati.

That's insane! Really shows just how much you can get done in an hour. My work ethic has been fairly low lately, and this is pretty inspiring in regards to what you can do when you buckle down and get to creating.

I've seen a couple of your videos now (this one and the one when you were traveling) and I have to say I love the practicality of your approach to writing. I have years of conservatory study in numerous instruments and studied bass in college, I even attend masterclasses and workshops as often as possible and rarely do people teach you HOW to stay productive. When they , it is articulated in a profound manner. I have learned plenty of great technical knowledge but it muddles the process. This clarity of just attacking problems as they come, and clearly setting achievable goals is a huge inspiration.

This is a cool concept/cool thing to do. It's cool how it would have been totally different if you had started an hour earlier or later.
I just won a competition in the biggest demoparty in Finland that's called fast music. Basically you're given a set of rules, this time they were 1. Have a distinguishable major section in the song, 2. Have a distinguishable minor section in the song and 3. Have C64-styled arpeggios in there. This challenge just reminded me of it.
