    I really like this one. I'm fine without a window in the bathroom. The sky light is perfect. Perfect 5th wheel for us old people.

    One of the most impressive bathrooms I have ever seen in an RV. And glad it comes with the washer dryer. Everytime I see the hookups in other models I envision 3 or 4 pour souls sweating their ass off trying to get a washer and dryer into a unit. Can't be easy..

    Only problem I saw was no medicine cabinet in the master bath. And no need for windows in the bath as long as there is a vent fan.

    Love love love the rear bath! I agree with the large 80’s style mirror. Extra shelving in the middle if not a widow would be nice and it would break up the space.

    I love this unit for a couple that perhaps are snowbirds spending the winter in Arizona or Florida. If you have another couple over for dinner and cards, the half bath off the kitchen is so much better than having them trapse through your bedroom to use the bathroom. That master bathroom is amazing!

    Excellent 5th. wheel. The bathroom window is not a problem and the closet space more than makes up for it. It is not actually home after all. You were right when you called it more of a luxury couples unit. That's a good way to look at it.

    That's a floor plan I'd love for sure. I prefer the no window. Bigger mirror feels more like home and the bathroom I think should feel more private anyways. Also, thank you for all the great videos you make! I just feel like we’ve seen so much rear living floor plans just like this one aside from the front bathroom. There are so many cool floor plans out there that really change it up and it would be awesome for you to identify them

    There's something really special about these front bathroom 5th wheels. just like that Columbus model with the pantry room in the middle, the increased emphasis on a "master bath" and bedroom changes how you use the floor space without sacrificing much of the Livingroom.

    Like the floor plan, but it could use more storage in bedroom. Master bath has plenty of natural light, so don't need a window--though I worry about that big mirror in the rear with bouncing down the road. Besides, the windows don't have side valances, so there's the peek-a-boo problem. Overall nice along with the price!

    The master bath isnt set up for the PPP, but that half bath is... it makes for a very nice space and thoughtful as a couple’s better half can use the half bath and not drive out the cook/cleaning lady from the master bath... ;). Really well thought out unit. Yeah agree could use another foot
    length on that island but its usable as is... might make a owner project to build a flip down extention for the island as a way to get that space....

    👍🔝You're absolutely right about the bathroom window and mirror suggestion. Also they should have put the master bathroom in where the mini bath was so guests have shower access. Also agree the kitchen Island should be a foot or two longer. Too bad no suspension gadget. What about for boondocking.? Please mention all tank sizes. I forgot, did they have a little shelf for the coffee maker ? 🤔

    With a dual sink vanity, not sure the 1/2 bath is how I would budget the space. I like the Columbus 1492 concept of using that space for additional counter, appliance and cabinet space. That's just me though, because I would never have guests that slept in the rig!

  • @learnfromhistorynow
    @learnfromhistorynow 4 роки тому

    It looks like a decent rig with a good floor plan. However, I should warn anyone thinking about living full-time in this rig to pay attention to the cargo carrying capacity. (CCC) I applaud him for showing the sticker at the very beginning of the video and highlighted the gross vehicle weight rating as well as cargo carrying capacity. But this rig's CCC is only 2300 lbs. That's is a very small number considering all the space you have in this unit. Once you start filling it up, you will notice you might quickly exceed the CCC. Now if you take out the washer and drying, you will gain back quite a bit of weight as well as space so if we own this unit, that would be the first thing we will do. Lots of folks don't pay enough attention to CCC of their RVs and this can be potentially dangerous, and causes unnecessary stress to your RV. We watch every lb of content going into our full-time 5th wheel and weight at a cat scale any chance we get. CCC of 2300 lbs definitely makes it a show-stopper for us.

  • @brichter4669
    @brichter4669 4 роки тому +3

    Nice layout but very similar to other 5th wheel floor plans. Like the cabinets over the recliner area for more storage. Disappointed there is no linen/towel storage in the bathroom, no medicine cabinets and only 1 drawer. Why don't manufacturers install a full back splash behind the stove top up to the bottom of the microwave? Such a small area to cover, which prevents grease from getting on the upper part of the wall and makes for easier cleaning. That's why I don't like windows behind stove tops, which could be a cleaning nightmare.

  • @akbychoice
    @akbychoice 4 роки тому

    I would prefer the battery disconnect on the passenger side. Imagine an electrical issue while towing and stopping on the side of the road to turn it off only to be struck by another vehicle. They should rethink that placement.
    The dining table would be nice if it expanded to accommodate 4 chairs.
    Overall I really like this unit. The main bathroom is really nice.

  • @tonia.5861
    @tonia.5861 4 роки тому

    I like the layout and with a skylight, I wouldn’t want a window in the bathroom. One of the things people overlook in a 5th wheel is the cargo capacity. You can’t put just anything and everything you might want it think you’ll need in some of these. Something to always check and think about....

    • @learnfromhistorynow
      @learnfromhistorynow 4 роки тому +6

      RV washer and dryer are typically overrated. We are full-timers on our second 5th wheel and even though we had hookups in both our units, we never bothered with them. It takes valuable space and cargo-carrying capacity for full-timers, and most RV washer/dryers can't handle larger loads and are slow. (to wash and dry) Save the space, weight, money and use a laundry facility instead...

      @@admorris11because we live in RV parks full time and talk to our neighbours all the time about pros and cons of different options in RVs. Many who thought they couldn't live without them ended up not using them for various reasons and use the laundromat instead. I'm not saying you shouldn't get one, just that you should consider all the factors before deciding to take on the extra weight...
