Very nice unit. The price is understandable because of the quality and how well everything is thought out.
They could've added a few pop-up tower of power in the kitchen area.
With all that luxury, they should definitely have included a dishwasher! Love the bedroom clothes storage options, lots of drawers, big closet! But turn that half bath into more usable space for a couples’ home like a laundry area and not stick the washer/dryer in your clothes closet!!

That’s always been my problem with half baths. It would be better if there was a laundry area instead of it since half baths are quite useless.
That is why I am looking at a Toyhauler. W/D in the garage area.
I’d be happy with switching out the wine cooler for the dishwasher.
I agree on the dishwasher, but if you've got the money for this rig I'm sure you could buy and ha e one installed. There's plenty of room in the kitchen for it.
Honestly, This is sweet ... the colors the woodwork 2 fireplaces great 1/2 bathroom ... and an AWESOME REAR KITCHEN !!!!!!!!!
Cords plugging in the front would make me afraid of snagging something and yanking it off the counter
This brand is our next choice. We narrowed it down to this and the Riverstone by Forest River. Last month we drove to Minneapolis to physically check out the build quality of the Vanleigh. Coming from over 35 years in military and civilian aviation at a technician and FAA inspection, this has given me a keen eye of build quality. The Vanleigh's ( and Beacon) that I seen first hand have a build quality 2nd to none. Even though the Vanleigh's price-point is 35k + from many of the competitors, it is worth it if you want the home feeling and extended stay. My wife is preparing to be a traveling nurse and the product line is perfect for this. Thank you for your coverage with this company as they produce great products.
We were also looking at the Riverstone until we stepped into the Vanleigh. Although the MSRP was a shock. But, we are going to think about the negotiations to make it happen.

That is an awesome exterior. And I really like that floorplan. Beacon makes a hell of a product... and they are sure proud of them... lol! Just love the quality. I need to keep playing the lottery and dreaming... 😉 For what they charge there had better not be many issues right out of the factory. You are paying for the quality.
Unfortunately no matter what you pay for an RV, you’ll always have something that needs fixed. Even right from the factory.

They do make a beautiful rig and I’ve always loved that floor plan. That being said for a rig in that price point you’d think they would at least offer the Independent Suspension as an upgrade but they don’t. Would also be nice if they went to the 3” wall construction as well.

As long as people buy expensive RV’s with low end components, why should manufacturers improve? Buy low, sell high... that’s the American way! Vanleigh’s are better than most, real wood, real solid surface countertops, and they seem to be better at service. Let me tell you the Joys of having a new Samsung refrigerator in an RV fail and Samsung says no warranty, that was sold to Keystone, NOT you. You have no warranty, we warrant only to the original purchaser.
@@Erin-Thor That’s why I went with a LUXE. No manufacturer is perfect but the materials used and overall quality of their units made it a no brainer.

I absolutely love the Van Leigh/Tiffin line of products! Their cabinetry is second to none and better than everybody else. Just stunning! I love everything about this unit! Thanks for showing us this beautiful rig.

Nice Rig, changes: kitchen outlets dumb location, shower look is boring, no cabinets over the bed, 1/2 bath toilet needs to be turned parallel to wall. Dinette wall needs outside TV. No slide storage tray in rear. Else its perfect.
A dishwasher in place of a wine fridge would be so much more useful. Wine fridge that size a waste of space as well as those huge dual sinks, a washer dryer could fit in one sink space

There’s even an A/C vent in the closet. This is a beautiful 5th wheel! And my absolute favorite as far as the interior colors go. I love it!
Looks like our Alliance. Main difference is we have more seating in our living room and no wine refrigerator. That's ok. We don't drink anyway.😁
This thing is awesome. The only thing I would do would be to swap out a dishwasher for the wine cooler. Other than that, there's not much I'd change. Price is high, but not outrageous for what you're getting. Of course you'll need a $70k + dually to tow the thing, so you're at an overall price point where you might want to consider a lightly used Class A.

Very nice. But you are right about the plug outlets in the kitchen. Do not at all like them installed in the front of the cabinet!!!
The outlets on the front of the cabinets are actually a good idea because you don't need things plugged in at all times like small appliances ( ie: pressure cookers, stand mixers, bread machines, toaster ovens or toasters, etc ).
I always love the details of Beacon VanLeigh because they make homes, not just an RV....
That's a good point about the outlets, because my first thought was it didn't make sense to put them in front of the cabinets.
I agree. The outlets would be better in the wall. They would increase storage space if the cabinets went all the way to the wall.

That is a nice unit! I agree with your pov about the outlets being below the counter vice on the wall. The (electrical) cords would be bumped into and the bend on the cables would be detrimental in the long term.
On the counter receptacles at the front, I would prefer them at the back of the counter or at the back in the bottom of the cabinet above the counter.
Finally, a good floor plan that's had some thought put into it.

As a full timer I would change the wine cooler for a dishwasher the rest I love. And right now it’s a little too much for me. But love the unit will have to keep it in mind for when I’m ready to buy another one.
You could tell just by looking at the furniture that it was of good quality. Nice RV and review👍
I agree with you regarding the outlet on the face of the rear cabinets.
It needs a dishwasher, cabinets are outstanding, kitchen is great, did I say no dishwasher, washer/dryer is not in an optimal place
Beautiful unit. Like the clean lines. The kitchen is well laid out; having had a working professional kitchen in my home, this is a great place to work. Very efficient “triangle”. My beef is you have these clean lines and great work area and then you’re going to destroy that aesthetic with power cords snaking up over the counter tops, with the possibility of them getting in the way of the opening and closing of the drawers. Plus, you will probably lose more counter space because the cords are now on top of the counters next to the appliances not behind.
I also agree with you about the placement of the generator control placement. But, really a beautiful unit. I think the price is great considering the build quality, the furniture, the amenities and size.
The angular window valences and casework top trim seem a bit busy for my tastes. Nice Rv thought
Agree with busy valences, lol! Plus, I feel like I would just hit my head or hands on those things😂 There are a lot of them & they’re big! Also, for a RV of this size to not have another sleeping area is a pass for me, but that’s because I have two boys. Those outlets on the front are horrible btw. Any moisture on the counter can travel down the cord & cause electrical issues like shortages, sparks, etc.
Very beautiful! I like the walk in closet. The only thing I would change is all the kitchen counters being the same height otherwise it’s great
Overall it’s very well designed and beautiful. The one thing I’d change is the electrical outlets in the kitchen should be on the wall. That’s a bad placement for plugging in.

I like the Rv reviews you do and how deep you go to point out every thing it has to offer I think it would be awesome if you include is the gross weight and the hitch weight so we have some idea if the vehicle we have will work with out overloading the tow vehicle. Happy New Year, Josh!! Gorgeous interior! Love the light tones. Fit and finish is amazing. Would not like to watch the necker-wrecker TV from the sofa since it doesn't swivel out. Where's the washer/dryer closet? I would prefer electrical popups in the kitchen counters. This is a nice floor plan, but I prefer a front living area with 2 sofas and recliner set for more seating and an extra sofa bed if needed. I liked the Beacon you used and reviewed.
It is beautiful. The plug outlets create a hazard for cords hanging off. A child could pull the appliance off the counter. It also looks bad. Not a good idea.
I would love to see how the electric gate valves work! Beautiful rig!

Would rather have a dishwasher than a wine refrig. I don’t drink enough to justify that much space. Yes I could put sodas in it but that would be just because it’s there. The dishwasher would be much more functional.

Size: Did he just say 43'6" long? Holy...! This is not only larger than apartments in other countries, but if you live in Soho or most anyplace in Manhattan, the South Bronx or Downtown Brooklyn it would be a pricey square footage to rent, worth it if you can get it, but pricey.
Kitchen: I'm not crazy about the outlets in the front of the counters in the kitchen, or that the counters are constantly changing levels, but a great kitchen otherwise.
Coat closet: I love that you can make one of the cabinets by the door a coat closet.
Bedroom: The storage in the bedroom is impressive in spite of the huge closet in the front bath. There's often wasted space in the front of the bedroom.
Dual sinks: I don't like dual sinks. I would rather have one good sized sink and extra counter space, but to each their own.

Why don't the cabinets and tops go to the wall in the kitchen? seen it on two tops. Touches the wall on one side but not the other. Is there something there to not let things fall down? They need the countertops and the same level. I think that would bother the hell out of me

I hate how the counters aren't flush with the walls, especially in the kitchen. That's how stray bits of food falls down there forever and you end up with a roach nest there.
I have to ask. Ive watched a bunch of these RV vids and million dollar boat vids. The one thing that always bugs me is those ugly Fusion stereos. There are so many other options besides a Walmart brand that got ran out of the car audio aftermarket years ago. $400 for a BT 4.1 head unit. Yikes! Their speakers and amps are junk. Better quality can be had for less and even better for the same price. For 160k+, (and if I could ever afford such a thig) Id expect Bose or Sonos. You dont really need Marine grade inside a dry RV or 30 million dollar yacht. Maybe that was less of a question than I thought.
Electric cords would have to drop to the front of your cabinets increasing RISK of pulling the Ninja or coffee pot with HOT LIQUIDS down on your children or grand children. Not a good idea. Washer and dryer should be stackable with a separate door. I have a front closet washer dryer where the clothes have to pushed aside to fill washer and the transfer to fill the dryer. Really love the washer dryer. Really hate it being in the front closet🤨 as a split. I feel like I’m fighting my clothing with every load. If I have it to over I would only get one with it to the far right where it is separated I it’s own section.
Being that the camper is top of the line. Why would they put the outlets in the kitchen on the front of the cabinets? Don't the realize how dangerous it is? Not only for children and pets but making it so easy to knock off small appliances? Would not even consider this camper. And no dishwasher.
Beautiful rv!! Not a big fan of the kitchen outlet placement. The shower is ok, I think tile or a wood look would have been better.

Ok I guess I’m a cheap so and so, but, those plugs in the kitchen are just a hazard! Someone eventually is going to snag that cord and it’s going to be messy! The cabinets in the kitchen need to go all the way to the ceiling ( maybe they did I just couldn’t tell). For the price cmon man, it should come with onan genset, washer and dryer and the backup and side cameras! If I had that amount of money to spend I think I could do better with a Jayco Pinnacle or the Keystone Montana.
It didn't look like the cabinets and the counter tops went all the way to the walls. Even in the coffee station area. Lots of stuff to get in between the counter and the wall.
I didn't like the different levels of the counter top in the kitchen. Prefer plug ins on the wall not front of the cabinets
I agree that the Beacons interior is second to really none… My concern comes from a quality standpoint from what you can’t see.. Riverstone has a far more robust frame, a couple others, yet few focus really on the chassis in this high end class (non bespoke class”) 5ers… I just think that the lippert frame is a huge let down. I’ve had a lippert frame literally fully bend on us just from a dirt road… 🤷🏻♂️

I like a toilet room rather than in the bathroom itself.
Outlets should never be on the front of a counter. Creates a snag and safety issue. Poor wire management. Why the raised section in the middle of the kitchen counter?
Well there isn't much I don't like! Personal preference on furniture is something a little less overstuffed but maybe they offer options?
