A friend had a 38' Space Craft built to his and his wife's specs. This was about 3-4 years ago. It weighed 27-28k loaded and he pulled it with a 2020 Ram 5500 Chassis Cab with Kelderman rear air ride. 6500 lbs pin weight which the Ram had no problem with. They eventually sold the truck/trailer combo after deciding they wanted to go back to a Class A Diesel Pusher Motorhome. Beautiful 5th Wheels!
Best product rep (I know he's a GM) by far. He's not trying to sell his product because he knows it sells itself . . . for those that can shell that out
I want one with a Garage in the rear. I think traditional toy haulers are 40-45ft long, with this being 57ft, You could get 40ft living space and a 17ft garage.
If you would of stopped by last year we could of showed you our Spacecraft...lol. LED wall on front, Rooftop Deck that can land a Helicopter, concert sound system, 6 slides at 50,000 lbs.... bahahahaha Love our setup. Loof forward to meeting you down the road one day.
That's a custom semi-trailer. That would be like towing Production Trailers for a Tour. I did that for so many years it would be like work. Better buy you a real tractor for that one.
I have to say i absolutely love the blue and the colors. I’m tired of seeing the same color on rv’s let’s get interesting with it! I’d definitely have to have a nice bright color. I hunted down my mesquite brown tundra… not really a bright color but it was in my top 4 colors to get and I’m happy. lol Jared’s high kept changing. JD always funny man 😂
Many years ago I would camp at a small family camp ground in Gunnison, CO and there was one setting in a corner, it looked like a huge Airstream. This was in the late 80’s.
What an incredible unit !!! Can't imagine towing that !!! I know people are saying show more things, but it doesn't matter it's custom, so there's literally thousands of options. I understand what JD points were about frame weight and durability. But if your foundation isn't strong enough, then it's bound to fail. So I'd prefer a better foundation from space craft but in a more towable size.
Big truck big travels , and switch it up, both have these. . Im looking at a B train setup, front trailer is living, rear trailer is storage car hauler.
SpaceCraft refused to work with me a couple years ago with my 2 story fifth wheel rv where the roof raises via hydraulic pistons. I did not tell them my budget being 2 million dollars but that shouldn’t have mattered. When a customer contacts you with an idea, don’t just say “yeah no we do custom stuff but not that custom…” Anderson mobile estates ended up working with me a making the unit.
So there is no full bathroom? Just a sink and torlet by the back bedroom and a shower in the main bedroom. If i wake up in the middle of the night i don't want to walk all the way to the back of the camper to use the bathroom.
It’s what the customer wanted… with this rv I’m sure you’re sitting down and going over every single detail. So while it doesn’t work for you (me either, I want the bathroom kinda close) I guess it works for that customer. Hell, I wouldn’t want to tow something that big lol… I’m more of the off grid type and carrying the SDF-1(IYKYK) behind you is no good 😂
To me it seems the GM is not interested in answering all the questions . This thing is really cool !, If i could afford this thing I think , I'd have to be a rock star on tour full time to justify owning it.
I understand wanting to talk details. That's great for the those who enjoy that. But, it would be nice to have a quiet walkthrough of the interior we could skip to as an option. That's not a slight. It's just none of those technicals matter if the layout and the visuals aren't what we are looking for. So, as constructive criticism, I suggest introducing the model and mfger., silent walkthrough followed by technicals at the end. Thanks for the video.
@@timthetrailman4563gonna have to disagree. He doesn’t have trouble “getting in” because he has to very carefully research where he’s staying. I’ve been all across the country and you are simply NOT going to be showing up at random campgrounds, looking for a spot for the night. Most are 40 ft max if you’re lucky.
@ yes. My point is this should not be made out to be “just like every other camper”. Of course you’re going to be able to find some places but saying this RV can be accommodated like anything under 40 ft is just bad information. Some of these models are 4 ft longer than a semi trailer.
Something like that might be very difficult to get into many campgrounds. Don't know if RV resorts would let you in, they usually only allow Class A's.
Towards the end, you said you had seen a few Spacecrafts on the highway. I've been a long distance truck driver for nearly 34 years & 4 million miles in 48 states & 2 Canadian provinces. I've never seen one on the road. But I've followed Big Truck Big Travels for 4 or 5 years. They have a 16 Volvo & 40' Spacecraft. Totally different setup than this one.😊

@@Old_Man_82 Highly doubt that. I will give a good guess that that RV is probably 500k+. If I had the money to buy a 7 figure coach, I will indeed ask them if it is possible since they consider them a custom shop.

Space Craft is the gold standard for 5th wheel rv's.
And that isn't even a 5th wheel!
Good Luck finding a park or campground that can accommodate this, the only place you could stay is at truck stops.

This thing with a matching stretched Pete would be something else 😢

Yup, for what ever destination you arrive at. Built to travel
Spacecraft: when you absolutely, positively have to have your cake and eat it too!
Huge fan of Jared and his channel.
This trailer would be illegal to pull in most states because of it's length
I would doubt that or they wouldn't make it that long. You can also just buy oversize permits
