Greetings during my time in the USAF I was stationed at the Finland radar site ‘76 no longer an active station. My question is do you ever tumble your finders? I have a nice Lake Superior collection kept in a mason jar in my bathroom. Growing up in Iowa with an older brother rock hound. We had an uncle and Aunt in Brainard. Mn. Many agates on the gravel roads we would walk for hours.

Beautiful new spot. Looks like it'll be pretty promising especially when that ice melts. And I can definitely see the purple in that quartz beautiful! You don't find those everyday. The smooth Rock looks like or chert Jasper to me but not 100%. And of course, nice agates as always! I want to thank you for including me in your list of other channels to check out. I truly appreciate it. And I want to let you know that I'm very close to having your package ready to send to you. I'll keep you posted. Till then, Happy Hunting!😎🐾

Oh of course! I wish I had more room to add more channels, I was running out of room so I had to save some for the description lol and yes! AMETHYST! I have been lucky lately when going through my agate collection to find a few that actually have amethyst crystals in it, I started polishing an agate last night and I after clearing some of the unwanted material, the quartz starting showing the purple goodness...so pumped to show that one off!

Taylor, Thanks for another great video.
It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who talks to site-host wildlife. However, I think the biggest difference is that I normally invite them home so I can make them dinner. 😉
New spots are always fun. You got some nice finds, I get the impression that when the ice is gone, you'll be glad you found that spot.
Regarding the glass and the fire-melt piece at 11:47, I collect that stuff too, including campfire beach glass and I offer it to local artisans. It's always fun to go to local summer art festivals and see how my "beach trash" gets turned into a beautiful piece of art or jewelry by a mind more creative than mine. If there is a local gallery that shows local artists/artisans, you may want to check with them to see if they know anyone who would use material like that. You may be surprised. Just food for thought.
    One more time....
Cleats = Safety = HELL YES!!! Because, and I believe I speak for many here, nobody wants to see a video of your new Cast! Besides, cleats cost Way Less than the Emergency Room! js 🤣🤣
    Thanks again for sharing. And...

Hi! If you scratch it on the under-side of a bathroom tile and it produces a red streak then it is Hematite. I have a very similar stone, it's smoothness has an almost calming affect. If you don't now? Hematite comes in many colours and types of structure but will always produce a red streak. The larger multi coloured stone looks like a granite. I have a piece of fossilised tree which has become granitic and has the same colours as your larger stone. Hope this helps.

14:19 give it the paper test. Just put it on paper and see what color it is. There could be hematite in fractures giving a false hue. Paper test will help.

If your on cloud nine you should be fine, as the late George Harrison would sing,
Take my hope, maybe even share a joke,
If theres good to be shown
You may make it on your own,
And if you want to quit that's fine
While your out looking for Cloud Nine,
I hail from the land down under, not Africa or a zoo, from the land of oz not far from the Rookie,
With grey of hair, and sons who knew better than to poke the bear, this nickname they gave me
And so it stuck, a monica from the family to prove I do give a. And do not just luck.
Not to cryptic, it's really quite plain, sarcastic at times I would have to agree, low of wit if aimed at others and not at me.
