Nice one, great acting and very helpful 👍.
Yes this helped I had given up on centering it!
That's a good one! 👍🏻
thank u....been racking my brain tryna 2 figure that out
It most definitely does help!! Thank you haha 🎉❤
Great tip man. So many times I've had to fumble around.
Thanks bro
NICE! Everything helps.
Just to let you know - you can set that up in menu 😊
Where?
What were the elastic bands you use to tie down the power bank?
Mine are specificaly Think Tank Photo's Red Whips V2.0. Think Tank wants about $13 for 12 of them (10 regular size, 2 extra long). I think I'm using the extra long ones to hold the battery bank on.
You can also find generic versions on Amazon for a couple of bucks less that would also likely work.
brahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh you da mannnnn
Thank you for your tips. Do you know if we can disable in-camera audio recording? Thx
Unfortunately, at least assuming that I'm not missing something somewhere in the menus, no.
Actually, audio recording on the R5C is kind of a frustrating mess IMO. You can't manually control the gain of the internal mics, or disable them. Even if you plug in an external mic, the internal mics are still recorded on chs. 3 & 4.
Similarly, you can choose between 2ch AAC, or 4ch LPCM, but you can't do 2ch PCM.
Or for that matter, when setting levels, the scale on the camera is 0 to 100. 0 corresponds to -inf dB (so that should shut the audio off, but you can't adjust the levels on the internal mics). 50 corresponds to 0 dB, and 100 corresponds to +18 dB. Why not just put the dB levels instead of semi-random numbers.
I do know that when you use the TASCAM audio adapter in the hot shoe it overrides the audio functions in the camera. The controls are on the adapter. The camera audio menu is greyed out in video function..
My focus point is stuck in the middle i can touch focus or move it, where is the setting to change this?
Make sure the "AF Frame Position" setting on the Camera Setup 4 menu page isn't set to "Centered." If it is, change it to "selectable" and you'll be able to move the AF point.
@@PointsInFocus got it! I was pulling my hair for a second!
Glad that worked. I need to get my butt in gear and get going with way more R5C content, there's a lot the camera does that's not obvious if you're use to Canon's photo cameras.
Doesn't work in photo mode though.....
In photo mode the R5C uses the same controls as the R5, which I've also covered in video form (ua-cam.com/video/9MfBTnxAYWw/v-deo.html).
Figured it out. AF point is where you don't want/need it... so you press the LOCK (9) button, then move the point wherever you want with the multi controller (joystick control)....then re-lock the point where you wish.
