@@hypermotardking I had plans for it, but I ended up selling all my bikes this passed month. Unfortunately, I have developed a vision problem over the past year. I get double vision, and it makes track days and any kind of "spirited" riding dangerous, so all the sport/hooligan bikes are gone... to be replaced with a Multistrada. I did keep my cafe racers, so the garage still looks good :) Ride safe bro! Looking forward to seeing the updates.
Luuurve those wheels, not a criticism but an observation, when I swap out front pads I smear a bit of copper grease on the backing plate and use a bit of blue thread lock on the caliper bolts. Great vid, the bile looks mint well done.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Hi, new hypermotard owner here. I recently had an accident and i need to repace my front rim, do you know whats the hub size on the front wheel of the hypermotard? Many thanks.
@@hypermotardking its really maginal the stock sp wheels are already forge wheels i think going carbon would have been a better step up im sure if it was a stock hypermotard it would have been nnoticably better.
AHhhhhhhhhhh........bike porn at its finest! Even the music is seductive! This is proper instructional tutorial because it moves at a measured pace where it's easy to distinguish the steps. I eventually want to become confident and proficient enough where I can switch out wheels an rubber to suit the environment. I'm currently in fractured bits and pieces, but I want to be independent and proficient around my bike. Immediately after watching your OZ wheels video, I ordered a set. As it turns out, I REALLY want a set of their covers - I'm a neat-freak. Their claim is that they do not ship to where you already know I live; can you rustle up a solution????? I'm the sort who aligns the screwdriver racks everynight before lights out. This project is going to cost double because of the accident damage - very discouraging.........deep depression stuff. I'm confined to hospice care 😰😥🏯🏁
Don’t worry about the wheel covers.. I’m sure I can sort something out - you just put your energy into getting better and recovering at your own pace.. bikes are replaceable, humans aren’t #yougotthis 🤛🏼
4:47 OUCH ! My heart dropped
The spacer or the chewed up Titanium wheel bolt 😭😭
@@hypermotardking the way you hit the wheel
Beautiful job. 👍🏼
Cheers.. 🤛🏼🤛🏼

Me too.
Great video & those OZ wheels 🤟
Thanks… 👍🏻👍🏻
Making it easy!! I need a torque wrench for the wheel tighten specs. Do you tighten to spec usually or feel?
Tighten to feel.. but when it comes back from Ducati after a service they are so much tighter 😭
WOW... Very nice!!!
Thanks..
i need those service standss
Constands centre stand and any normal front paddock stand

Good observation and valid points to mention..
Ducati says grease on those bolts, no Loctite, and if they are titanium as i suspect, grease is absolutely necessary.
Depends how often you have to take them on and off.
You know what? This is a bloody good video. Nice one. 👍🏽
Thanks mate.. appreciste it 🤛🏼🤛🏼
That backwheel nut is not a standard one is it? Mine is standard so do you know if I need a regular 46 axle nut?
Standard 46mm shud be ok.. i have a Bi-hex 46mm to use on the AEM titanium axle nuts
Did you ever do a vid on how to remove the servo?
It was done as part of the full exhaust install.. the wires goes back under the seat to remove the servo..
@@hypermotardking Oh I see it. That looks like a huge pain in the butt to remove.
@@theperipateticgumshoe9047 the full exhaust is yes.. the servo is behind the rearset so a little awkward
Hi, new hypermotard owner here.

Many thanks.
Most ducati front wheel size are the same 3.5x17.. most will be compatible even with a spacer/bearing
@@hypermotardking thanks a lot!!! Now I can see if the panigale wheel that I saw is still available.
Many thanks.

Apart from the bling factor did you notice any difference riding the bike with the new wheels? Very nice wheels BTW

Best hyper going. Would have liked the torque figures for each bolt but great video!
Thanks.. im a bit shit working out how to use a torque wrench 😭😭
what stands are you using
Constands centre stand and any normal front paddock stand with under fork lifters
Not a torque spec in sight
@@coremix6222 Nothings fallen off so far (apart fron me)
Get some bungees and hang your calliper from the bars, keeps the out the way and stops them bashing the wheel
Good point.. they can swap about a bit and easily chip the wheel 👍🏻👍🏻
Full options this HM 👍
