2023 Ducati Track Day Donington Park: Hypermotard Triple Threat Part 1

- Part 1 Video of the Ducati organised Track Day at the Full Donington Park GP Circuit on May 23rd 2023 onboard with my 2022 Hypermotard 950 SP in Advanced Group for the morning session.
There were a total of 5 Hypermotard 950 SP's at this track day so the channel must be doing something right - hopefully next time someone will join me in Advanced group and really put it to these V2 and V4 Panigales.
The Track footage is a mix of my forward camera, my rear camera and a friends forward camera to hopefully give you the viewer a better experience. The DJI MIC did work well in recording audio with less noise interference.
Massive shout out to @ChasingTenths who helped me film for the day and @BenVarley74 for providing footage.

Nice video matey. I got down to 1m 55s on my best lap which is a massive improvement from last year. The hyper is quick in the corners.
Just can carry a bit more speed as there where i need to make up time.. a few more sessions and you’ll defo be fast group
Awesome, makes me want to take mine to the track... I just feel like our track is a tad to big and the kart tracks are a tad too small 😅

@hypermotardking For sure, I raced back in 2014. I had an Ohvale 212 for kart tracks and RSV4 for the big tracks. I ended up selling them when I had the kiddo's. I bought the Hyper to get my fix on the streets when I find the time 😅

Last time I was at Donington was in '89, watching Kevin Schwantz win the 500 GP. His best lap was only 15 seconds better than yours and he wasn't being held up by other riders, and he had full slicks. So I reckon you were only 5 seconds off his pace. And your bike didn't cost $2million.
I think with a clean lap.. slicks.. a good marker infront.. get the gearing correct for schwantz, coppice and goddards i got a few more seconds.. probably a 1:45 i think 🤛🏼
Excellent video footage! In 45 minutes a bike mate is going to drive me to a dealership a few cities away to look at and perhaps buy a Duc to replace the crashed one. I'm still broken in pieces, but I need to have a Ducati in the garage to dream of when I can ride again! On the upside; the OZ wheels have yet to arrive, so they'll go on a new bike; same for the K-Bike dry clutch. It's always a pleasure to watch your videos, thanks.

Aah shit.. no worries, I’ll check my other footage. Yeah it was tough going, that extra grip and fighting the bike was a killa 🥵
@hypermotardking had the same issue with tyre wear the week before on my track bike. Tyre gut said up it from 28 to 33! Thought he was mad but it worked on the Super Corsa and cleaned up. Only getting 2 days out of an SC tyre from new. 😳
I can't decide between the new hypermotard (sp) or the new supersport .......
Depends how you ride.. comfort over style.. track or road.. sundays or commutes.. ?

True.. they put the power done and are doing over 160-170 down the straights where i’m barely grtting to 130 😭😭

Congrats.. I run normal road shift - the ducabike rearsets is an easy change to GP shift 👍🏻
