the auto landing only kicks in when the battery is dying or when the transmitter turns off. it just floats the drone slowly towards the ground for about 15 feet before cutting the power. it's a pretty common feature designed to reduce damage if the battery dies or the drone loses signal.
+Steven Pringle yes but if u fly a phantom with real auto landing lol what this has isn't really auto landing cause every drone will lose power as the battery runs out 😂😂 this is more like battery dead detection
I'd suggest how you can correct that issue but won't bother as these things are nothing but junk. Even if you used my fix your quad would still fly like it's out of control. Why ?? If you fix one issue, it creates another. If you fix that issue, it creates another. Why ?? These things are garbage. Go with a Cheerson or Hubsan micro, you'll be glad you did.
I promptly took back the DX-1 that I bought last night at Walmart today after discovering what a piece of nonsense it is and spent $7 more for a Sky Viper M500 Nano Drone and love the thing. No blade guard, but it's really agile even on its low speed setting and it can actually perform rolls and flips unlike the DX-1. It also features highly visible leds on the front ( green ) and rear ( red ) compared to the DX-1 whose led's are difficult to see at times if impossible at others. Another plus is that its even tinier than the DX-1. The quad is just a itty bitty little thing.
mark elias the props pop off of the motors it make be kinda hard to pop them off but get a pair of needle nose pliars and be real gentle and tug and they should pop off
+Donnie Harman turn everything off and then turn on the drone first and set it down then power on the remote and go up and down with the throttle stick to see if that helps ... that's the best way
I wish u told us how to fly it! I'm having some serious problems!
I love your videos
I have that drone also AWESOME video
I just bought this one, watched this while it was charging, never flown a drone before, should I use the auto orientation first couple times flying?
My drone isn't moving, the lights are showing and it's fully charged also did the up down thing but the props don't spin

Guards hook around thumbsticks during storage.

Yea mine is now just spinning crazy even though I tried to adjust the trim and spin direction.

Someone please tell me how to replace the drones wings? I have the DX-1 Micro drone
I'm trying to figure that out, too. There is some fuzz stuck in one of the propellers, but I can't get it off.

Jesse Powell try taking the batteries out of the controller to reset it
Jesse Powell I haven't been able to pair since new...any ideas b4 I return? Thanks!!!

I’m getting the drone DX-1 on June 25 2018
Mine is just doing zzz
I've had dozens of quads. Out of the box it flies erratically, even after calibration. It's a shite drone .
