The only Mercedes worth buying is a 55 class maybe one of the new jeep styles but other than that Mercedes has really fallen off 55 classes one of the very few brands with integrity that’s left. 143,000 miles and it drives like it’s brand new but everything else is falling off.
Hiiiii. Before you troll back to my response, I want you to go on my page and look at the 55 with the Valore hanging out.😂😂😂. Number one to your response. The brakes are absolutely F1 formula type, and that stock. The best brakes I’ve ever dealt with probably the best part about the car. Number two. Yes yes yes engine parts engine parts engine parts. You got me in a box on that one. It all started with an alternator.😂😂😂. “ there’s nothing more expensive than a cheap Mercedes.” as for it being a tank on the road. If anybody hits you doing 100 miles an hour you’re walking away it doesn’t matter where. One of the most beautiful Mercedes ever made. It cost $100,000 to go to the store in the gas tank. But God is it sexy. I have this car on my deathbed as I sign it to my kids.

Homeboy you really don’t man. It’s not a fun car to take care of. I’ve spent thousands of dollars on maintenance. Bought it with 126,000 miles and I’m at 147,000 miles and I’ve already put $12,000 into it and it’s only been three years. That should tell you how much I drive the car.
And yeah man coming back here to double dip I’m sorry to troll you. This car is not like any other Mercedes. It drives different. The components are different and it just feels like a tight little cobra SVT. It is a bad little car. And I mean bad in a good way. The handling on it is great. My air conditioner just blew out but the car runs beautiful lol. It’s one of those cars where you absolutely have to have a second job to take care of it because you’re tires are like 500 bucks even here’s the thing you can’t put Duralast into a Mercedes unless it’s OE marked “ coil pack might be Bosch, but they have to have a Mercedes emblem burned into them “. they’ve crossed names and it’s given maintenance a hard time on these cars You used to be able to just drive up to the Mercedes dealership and they would fix your car But now they’re not doing too well so maintenance has skyrocketed Still a great car though. Not gonna lie man if you ever find one of these an old person you need to buy it and just hold onto it. And one more thing, my friend. Sorry, UA-cam has a text limit lol. In 2001 only 1200 of these were made and I do believe there’s less than 50 right now in the United Kingdom. In my four years of having this car, I’ve only seen one other one, and it just so happens. Ironically, the man lives right down the road for me here in Orlando. Dropped a picture off of my car and a letter but he never replied his car looks better than any car I’ve seen posted on the Internet. He’s a true car enthusiast. I’m talking magazine picture even down to the caps on the tires. In 2002 I believe it was 1300 of these were made, but there was no sport mode if I’m not mistaken somebody correct me. The one thing I’ve learned about this in particular is that it holds value even though it’s kind of at a point in its life where it’s not exceeding more than it should but if you find the right person you can sell this car for $25,000 at an auction even without tires on it. In my reading experience in the last four years. If you find this car again, buy it. Even if it’s to drag race. This is the one they do it with. Thanks for reading man. Go check out my video maybe one day you were a friend or family member would want to buy it. I’ll still have it.

I wouldn't be caught dead in one of these overpriced POS'. I don't care how fast and luxurious it is, you better have a big bank account to handle all the shit that falls apart on it and costs thousands of dollars to repair.
Some (poor) people have no clue what they're talking about. These are one of the most reliable sports vehicles, with the M113 and M113K being literally bulletproof. The W220 has a few things that need attention, one of which is the ABC stuff, but it's not what most people think - they don't fail that much, and they don't cost that much to fix for decades now. Also, maintenance is key (as with everything.. surprise, I know!) - keep with the maintenance and virtually nothing will go wrong with any of these. Especially the CLK, it doesn't have an air suspension, it's way more conventional than the S-class, it literally has zero problems. So yeah, go play with your Hyundai fam, and leave the big toys to the big boys.
Man that '03 S55 AMG is gorgeous. The CLK AMG is pretty too.

Wowwww, beautiufls and nices Mercedes AMG
If these were more reliable. Break issues and suspension was a biggie. Some engine things but cost of ownership w/o warranty is steeeeeeeeep
The CLK 55 AMG is bulletproof reliable, the S55 AMG however has a lot of faults.

The W220 marked the end of german reliability, quality and enduring workmanship 😢.

FYI that’s a different model. That is not the Cabaret.
I believe that’s a 2002 with the woodgrain.

The S55 was always one of my favorite cars, the muscular lines, that godly engine 🤌 it’s a shame maintenance costs are still extreme
