@@sandybruce9092 that's amazing - how do they feel about not only sharing a birthday but sharing it with Valentine's Day? (Hopefully they don't mind!!)
I used this tutorial and the instructions and it was easy and successful for my second quilt ever. I love the print option to have it handy. Thank you so much the work you do.
Thank you for your tute and the measurements. I have made a couple of baby quilts starting with a central heart. It's been a while and I came here looking for a better balanced heart shape than my previous two. I like yours very much and love your measurement chart.
I just found your channel and it is just what I needed. I am working on a signature block quilt for a co worker who retired. I wanted a filler block. This will be perfect. The theme of the quilt is stars and hearts.
Exactly what I was looking for . . . want to make a journal cover with hearts and also a remembrance wall hanging for my cousin with hearts and skulls in it.
I'm going to add another square to the right of the heart and self bind for smaller placemats for daughter and son in love's Valentine meal on their lanai (it's hot here in Florida) thanks so much for the great tutorial 😊
This is great! I think I am going to use a bunch of different colors, and maybe some patchwork on the larger ones, put them all together for a quilt for my granddaughter! I love this!
@@ArtistTaraReed She has a snuggle quilt, a bed quilt was requested, so a bed quilt it will be. Gonna work on it between other projects so I don.t get burned out with all the smaller pieces.
I was searching for a tutorial on heart💜 blocks that offered a FREE pattern, and you popped up for me. I plan on making a throw pillow and some coasters. Thank you for this. P.S. I liked your tutorial and subscribed to your channel. 🥳
New subscriber today. I love this quilt block; I’ve always wanted to make a heart quilt, or at least a heart wall hanging.😉 Thank you very much for this pattern & for the easy to follow, concise instructions. 😊❤️ I look forward to watching many more of your videos!😊
12½" unfinished? Most "finished" blocks (as in the size they are when sewn together and measured) are 12". The free directions include 12" finished / 12½" unfinished so hopefully that will work!
I love these hearts; so simple and much better looking than the ones with pointed tops and sides. I want to make some in a few custom sizes and can figure out the dimensions for pieces A and B, but not C. What is the formula for calculating the size of piece C? I looked at your size chart but couldn't see a consistent formula between the sizes... Thank you! ❤️
You're right! I did sizes I see consistently online for the C piece. They are all between 33 - 40% the size of the B piece so I would play with that and round to the nearest 1/4". So C * .36 = B (rounded to nearest 1/4")

These would be cute as quilt labels...you know, made with love...
Such a great idea! Especially if you did the reverse and put the text in the solid colored heart. Love it!
@@ArtistTaraReed yes!! So so sweet!
I’ve always loved hearts - and then there is my husband and our son both born on Valentine’s Day 30 years apart!!!❤️❤️

Using Barbie 12"x12" (6) and the hearts will surround the outside blocks as first border.
That will be so cute! ♥
