Aha moment. How to get rid of bird's nest -- hold the bobbin thread. This is tribal knowledge that no one talks about. Thank you for explaining that. This video was sew helpful. Great video and will make some of these for sure.
Thanks for these great ideas and clear, easy to follow directions. Last Christmas I may mug rugs with matching mugs. This year I made 22 Halloween mug rugs for my nieces and nephews .This Christmas it will be key fobs, mini wallets and tissue holders.
You are the balm... lip balm that is. LOLOL My best friend is so addicted to her Chapstick it is crazy, and she goes bananas when she can't find it. This is so going in her Christmas gift!
Love all of your tips, especially the reminders of when to pull up the bobbin thread. Also, the Hot Hemmer is a “ruler” that can be ironed on. Not a required tool but helpful if you do lots of hemming that you need to be consistent.

Yay🎉 great ideas. I'll be making them eye glass case and the mug rugs
Have fun! 😎🤓
Definitely box corners on the tissue holder.
It’s a more finished look for sure!
I like both ideas for the tissue but I would probably stick to the fast and easy way 😂
Sometimes fast & easy is the way to go! 👍🏻
I have used swivel clips and plain both!
Nice!
I have a regular iron, a mini and my Cricut Easy Press Mini.
Well aren’t we birds of a feather! 😍
For the crayon roll, wouldn’t it be better to choose a darker fabric so it doesn’t show all the crayon marks?
If the marks would bother you then definitely!
flat corners on tissue holder
Your vote has been cast! 🤣 happy sewing!
Always boxed corners
me too... unless I'm making more than 25, then I get lazier 🤷🏻♀
