I'm in the market to buy one of these Sambar trucks, but I'm really wanting a supercharged one.
After contacting some of the numerous Kei truck dealers in Florida, one of them told me the supercharged van will have a higher top speed but not the truck because of the transmission.
Now I'm wondering if he was just trying to sell the carbureted truck he has in stock, or if what he says is true ?

I have a 97 sambar I would love to turbo it do u have any recommendations of where to get this stuff to do it?

Non-expert opinion here, so take it lightly: The turbo route is more work, more fabricating, and potentially more risky to the engine if you get it wrong. Amazon has AMR 500 and AMR 300 superchargers for less than two bills. Just my 2 cents.
