1982 Harley Davidson FXR Shovelhead Compression Test HD 1080p

The latest project in the fleet of madness. This old Shovelhead has a story and it's one that I do not know. What I do know is that this has been sitting for years! Today I need to start to build a baseline. I am completing a compression test to see what Im working with on the engine. Sadly, things aren't looking up. Follow along and see where this project takes me.

Question: How much can you get for parting out a harley? Vs selling the bike as a whole.

It really depends on the motorcycle and the area you’re in. The small stuff sells quick. The frame engine and transmission usually take a while to sell. If you’ve got the space and done mind waiting for parts to sell, you’ll be able to sell this type of bike for quite a bit more.
