First off to those who didn't listen before being judgmental... she had a steady job, she had a home. She had five beautiful children. She lost her job then her fiancee got injured and was unable to work. That is what happened. She got & shelter. She feeds them. Those kids know they are loved. What she did not do is give up, get bitter, and quit trying. She didn't ask to win the lotto, she asked for a good steady job. Hell of a woman, and SHAME on those of you who would pass judgment on her.
NayaDARLING firstly they couldn’t afford 5 kids on min wage...5 kids, house, vehicles...on min wage! Practice....of what? I guarantee he was not a vet or doctor. 5 kids...you need to be on 120,000 a year. No empathy.
NayaDARLING 5 kids supported by two people on normal wages. .....nonsense. No workers comp? Believe that you’ll believe anything. If she was a nanny who had her kids. Now she’s flipping burgers ....5 kids with no qualifications....their own fault.
Blobby Blob you have no right to judge those people at all. She did have a job and a home and stuff and things happen but you know what ?most people would piss and shit on themselves if that happened but what is she doing? Sucking it up, buckling down, and working and raising her children! That’s something I know you’d never could do I can tell by your bad judgment.
@@blobbyblob2573 wow. Your bad judgment sucks. So if you were the one who lost their home and your job as well and ended up working at McDonald's just to pay a motel/hotel to let you stay there it's your own fault. You know Blobby Blob you suck
You couldn't be more correct. That will never happen to me until it does and you don't see it coming. My family and I were renting a house the landlord didn't pay taxes on the house. The next thing I know she is accepting my rent for a year when she wasn't even the owner of the house anymore cause it sold at tax sale. The new owner waited a year like he was supposed to then had the sheriff evict my whole family 2 babies and all, then the ex-landlord drove by the house the night that our belongings were put out of the house, she sees everything in the yard. She calls me and asks if I need to borrow her truck to move our things to storage the following day. In the meantime, she is loading and stealing everything she could sell. All our clothes, kid's clothes kid's toys, electronics. what she could grab was gone, and have her on neighbors surveillance doing this. Here we are a year later still in weekly pay motel. But it was worse than this when it first happened we could barely pay daily and had to stress it checking out then worrying all day how or where we were gonna sleep that night but the lord def looked out and we were able to check back in every night and have a roof to sleep under, now we can pay weekly but no extra to save for anything better. Just blessed right now for what we do still have.
Yes. I was in a bad place last year… living in motels sleeping in my car some nights… it was so rough. Now I’m ok knock on wood but never have forgotten and making only good decisions now
People need to STOP criticizing and keep their crappy comments to themselves. This could happen to anyone..no matter HOW good you think your back up plan is. At least she is getting up and going to WORK every day and TRYING!!! A budget hotel may not be the ideal place for her kids, but they've got a roof over the head, appear well-cared for, and are obviously loved. I hope things improve for her soon. @Skwigle if you're going to say that then you'd better be criticizing the father just as much, maybe you didn't pay attention in biology, but a male is necessary for fertilization. She's clearly doing everything she possibly can to take care of her children which is more than I can say for a lot of stuck up barbie-doll soccer moms who probably have never even had to work a day in their lives.
I am a mother of 4 and it's hard I'm stuck in a hotel. Why won't the house authority help they won't give me a home because my credit is bad old evictions so no low income housing aprovels so now I'm stuck in a crappy hotel room with bugs because with no credit I can't even get in apt even if I can afford it when will people start fighting for the woman and children in this world how simply
Wow I can't believe what I am reading by so many of you. Apparently you missed the part where she said she had a job, house, cars. She had plans for her life just like each and everyone of you. If you all lost your jobs, and houses you would be in her situation. God knows all of you would eventually go homeless with your jobs as well. Be humans. God Bless you Jean and your family.
Something is better than nothing and remember that none of our situations is last. The house is more beautiful than living on the streets or for some people who live without blocks house, just a grass houses. Stay strong my sister. God is with us.
I am so sad about this. hope they have a good plan to escape from this situation. But, living cost is really high. It is not only to America, but also for all other countries. We all have to think about our future. We do not know what will happen in the future. So, saving some more money is the best way. Further, always look for better opportunities. She has got 5 kids. So, she needs some more money for them. I think parents are very sad about this situation. Hope your future will be good.
My mom and dad lived in a motel for a while... then a house, then an apartment that they were evicted from. Then my dad left my mom and my mom was in a travel trailer. From there, she was in a friend’s garage. My mom has COPD, Parkinson’s, kidney diseases so the strange thing is that those health issues helped her to be housed in assisted living where she is now.
I find it surprising that the elders, i.e.( Grandparents parents, aunts, uncles,)etc... of young families, who find themselves in such a predicament, do not seem to intervene and assist with family members in difficult times anymore, at least not as much. When yer on yer own, yer on yer own. Sad!

well done America. A country where if you are down you get kicked while being down and you never or almost never give up again. It's a shame how that system works. You become poor then never make it to middle class and so on. This is what the rest of the world does not see about America. They think its a wonderland full of rich folks
@redfly14 Um, no one did. She obviously had her kids when she had a home for them and a job to support them and she obviously thought it was going to last. Nobody ever plans to be homeless, but it happens. I can't count the number of times we almost lost our house when I was a kid because of things that were out of my parents' control, like my dad being laid off or having a death in the family with all the associated final expenses. No, we didn't PLAN on being homeless, but it almost happened.
Girl, you are not a failure but I understand how and why you feel that way. My husband and I have been living in a hotel room with our 2 young children for a little over a year now. At first, we struggled daily to check out and try to borrow enough money to come back to the motel to sleep and do it again the next day. now I am so thankful and grateful we are blessed and able to pay by the week. I am in the same boat you are as far as being stuck in the cycle of paying to survive daily and only having down to the dollar to make it through that much less having extra dollars to put up and save toward something better. I can't even imagine having half of what we had before all of this happened. During this process, most of our belongings were stolen from us by people that "cared" about us. If stealing my baby's clothes and all of their toys is caring then please don't care about us. What didn't get stolen was in a storage unit and it came due so they said they would work with us given our circumstances. I went the following week to make a payment but wouldn't you know just as life would have it she let my unit go to auction just one day prior to me being able to pay and I was communicating with her. That unit was literally ALL of our belongings in the whole world. pregnancy pics things belonging to my dead mother. EVERYTHING!! Thanks for listening y'all! We will pray for you and your family just keep us in mind when you send one up to the lord above

Hood Ole 🇺🇸 thank you for all you done
She is grateful because she's OK compared to those with bad luck living under bridges - This is a lesson for us all.
rotormeeeeeeee the lesson here is don’t have children you can’t afford You moron!
@@blobbyblob2573 clearly your too fucking stupid to think straight. What if you were raising say 3 kids. Then all of a sudden BAM! Shit hits the fan you lose work you eventually get booted from your house or apartment and you end up having to live in a homeless shelter or motel or fucking worse on the streets. Would it be your fucking fault because you had three fucking children that you couldn't afford. Because according to your logic that if people have kids they can't afford then its their fault. Your pretty fucking pathetic
Jacob Martinez fuck this and fuck that and fuck you 😂. You fucking deaf? Don’t have children you can’t afford. Have 2 instead of 23 and save. Won’t ever happen to me. You sound angry. Why? Your mommy let you down? Calm down moron
Jacob Martinez I can see you’re uneducated. Know the difference between your shit and you’re shit. Don’t have children you can’t afford. Now fuck off loser back to your bridge. .

Awww....that poor woman, I really want to just give all of them a big hug then give her little ones a lollipop. She's so humble, and thankful. I wish the best for you darling, you will be given so much, I just know it. Hang in there like it seems you already have.
5 children with so little security is very irresponsible and silly. At least she's trying and working and I do wish her all the best.
Gosh this touched my heart we should all be thankful for all the things that we have.
...,..i really hope she gets by, i mean she still smiles and laughs and does everything she can her kids. Shes so frikkin amazing
jejeaza amazing? Here is an irresponsible couple and you think it’s amazing? The stupid is strong in you 👋
Stay strong woman , God Bless !
Ivelisse Del valle and let’s hope she keeps her knees tightly together
Does anyone know what happened to her family now. It's been 7 year's.. I'd love to KNOW if they are ok now.
you can look around to see what her house would look like. unmade beds and the ladt i checked yhe showers work in hotel rooms
Annette Johnson You’re far too stupid. Get a life you judgmental bitch
Mean @@annettejohnson6162
Annette, learn to spell first before talking shit
Annette Johnson You are a B you dont know her xtop judging im sure you have skeltons
It really is disgusting to read people trying to sell things in the comments section of a video like this. I am in a similar situation my self but with no kids. I pray every day that I will be able to help people like this some day, as I am also invisible.
poor kids :( little girl in the background so observant of her mother... I feel bad for their situation!!! Have compassion.. you never know what tomorrow brings!! Best wishes to her and her family.
I wish I knew how Jean is today. 💜
Yes i wonder that too, how it did turn out for them eventually.
I hope that they are doing better and have everything they need. Right now with covid it's affected so many families and we all should be thankful for what we have
Keep the faith.
i know we all find this situation vary sad,but its on us to help those peole as much as we can!if you built a trust and love circle with other people you will never be alone or die from hunger.i mean if you have a little extra money no,dont you buy the super expensive bag (like i did and no i feel so bad and i wish i could turn the clock back)vut help some people who need it.and if they will get better and you fail, they will help you like you did.thats humanity by its real meaning
aww, bless her heart, hope things get better for her, it made me cry when she cried.
It's such a powerful inspiring story and please stay strong . Wish you and yr family live ones the very best ..God bless
You will be ok keep praying and better things will come your way. 5 kids is a lot to handle. You have a good head on your shoulders. Keep going and don’t give up!!
These are the people that some call people who want hand outs. No she wants to work she doesn't want hand out. So why not help her and others like her. I hate how other media picture the poor as people who just want money. We should help our fellow Americans' out.
Jesus I am crying like a baby.My god what is going to happen because there are going to be many more in this situation, maybe myself. No job is set in stone anymore.Worried.
I hope they doing well now
I hope everything gets better for her.
You're such a strong woman. I wish more people were like you. I hope everything turns out alright... being a student I don't know how I would help. Good luck.
Ahh mann she really broke me down to tears........
some people are legit, some are full of it, SHE IS LEGIT.
god bless you jean ,
your'e a beautiful woman with lovely children ,
i hope that some day everything that you lost will come back to you and to your family ,
so you can be happy again ..
I think it's great what you're doing. Truly makes myself and I sure others more inclined not to just turn away. Keep up the good fight.
Sam
It was really heartbreaking to know her story to be honest. Not everyone deserves to live like this. I hope she and her family are in a better place now.
That poor woman. ;_; I want to help her so bad... She doesn't deserve this!
I hope she finds housing soon. I am homeless and living in a hotel too. It is hard . Sometimes people can be so mean .
Fuck people, remember they want to give their two cents but won't actually give you two cents.
this is the oldest comment iv ever seen soz🤣
How r u now?
@@kooolllkatscat7830 they do via taxes
all she asked for was for her kids,God bless this woman and to be thankful for living in a motel that is a strong woman!I am a 36yo man and this got me
Be strong! Five children is awesome! God bless you and your family!
Terrible and unbelievable that families are being destroyed through economic greed.
Great mom
@Skwigle if you're going to say that then you'd better be criticizing the father just as much, maybe you didn't pay attention in biology, but a male is necessary for fertilization. She's clearly doing everything she possibly can to take care of her children which is more than I can say for a lot of stuck up barbie-doll soccer moms who probably have never even had to work a day in their lives.
I would love an update on this family
Where is her family, they should be helping her out.
I am a mother of 4 and it's hard I'm stuck in a hotel. Why won't the house authority help they won't give me a home because my credit is bad old evictions so no low income housing aprovels so now I'm stuck in a crappy hotel room with bugs because with no credit I can't even get in apt even if I can afford it when will people start fighting for the woman and children in this world how simply
are you doing better now
Kids notice & remember everything. They gonna take care of they momma
This woman is a warrior....she will make it no doubt
She and her family are brave. I only wish there were more people in the world who have a strong enough heart to care...
Something is better than nothing and remember that none of our situations is last. The house is more beautiful than living on the streets or for some people who live without blocks house, just a grass houses. Stay strong my sister. God is with us.
Most Americans are 2-3 paychecks from being homeless.. I hope this family found a permanent place to live. Any updates on them.
So sad! I will be keeping Jean and her family in my prayers ❤️
Doesn't claim being homeless as long as family is together! Amen God bless!
My mom has COPD, Parkinson’s, kidney diseases so the strange thing is that those health issues helped her to be housed in assisted living where she is now.
bless her heart! thats so sad. those kids dont get the fair childhood they deserve, and the mother has to be reallllly stressed out everyday
Anyone find it sad the little girl in the back keeps looking at her mom knowing she is sad? That’s heartbreaking. :(
I love that he asks about if they have 3 wishes what would they be
7.25$ an hour wow. I can’t believe McDonald’s payed that low in the past
This is so bizare. I'm 20, I recently worked as a teacher-assistent for 33.25 $ /hour. Hope things gets better for you.
Almost cried with this one. Can't believe ppl got millions of dollars knowing that some families are in this troubles...
I find it surprising that the elders, i.e.( Grandparents parents, aunts, uncles,)etc... of young families, who find themselves in such a predicament, do not seem to intervene and assist with family members in difficult times anymore, at least not as much. When yer on yer own, yer on yer own. Sad!
phfrankh my daughter can stay with me but I’m not taking care of someone else’s man-child
vainglorious101 that'll be they reason she don't come stay with you, you'll be breaking up her family, they feel like they have to stick together throughout it all
hey i know this is old but thanks for the content. I am basically in the same situation, but Im now more thankful for what i do have. hopefully your situation got better, im hoping mines does too, but i guess it could be worse.
Yes, I hope things got better for Jean and her family.
All the Best for your situation too.
I was in a shelter with my son it was so loud and horrible. If we mention or talk about it he get stressed out im glad their in a hotel not a shelter sharing a room with others .mines has 3 kids with their mom nevet got sleep unless it was after 11 p.m .her baby cried a lot
i feel so bad for you and your kids i hope you find enjoyable place
well done America. A country where if you are down you get kicked while being down and you never or almost never give up again. It's a shame how that system works. You become poor then never make it to middle class and so on. This is what the rest of the world does not see about America. They think its a wonderland full of rich folks
American is now becoming a third-world country!
No, we didn't PLAN on being homeless, but it almost happened.
it's sad when u think there are many many more in this situation. Keep it going!!! hope there is som1 there that can help you and your family ...
Been there done ✅ that.2 yrs homeless with my spouse n 5 kids.humbling experience made it out by the Grace of God.
We will pray for you and your family just keep us in mind when you send one up to the lord above
are you doing better now?
Awwww I'm so sorry I'll pray for u and ur wonderful children that God has placed in ur loving care!
This makes me cry.
God bless 😇 your whole family
