I don't remember exactly but it looks like what I think is called a cross stitch. you end up with X's on one side and lines on the other. On the ends I think you could really use whatever you want, I think the glue is doing a lot of the work there anyway. Cheers!!
Hi, you definitely could. I generally, for a liner go with pig or goatskin but for this purpose, I didn't bother and, if it matters, it's still in daily use as my girlfriends makeup bag and so far, it's held up well. Cheers!
Cool little project. I'm curious - is there a reason you used veg tan on the ends of the zipper vs. cowhide scraps? Again, just curious... Thanks for sharing.
Nicely done Jim! Love the contrast in the piece of hide too ( between the black and white)
Thanks Tomy! Cowhide just makes everything cooler!
I am continually impressed by the results you produce!
Thank you so much!!!
Nice job Jim! Everything about that pouch is clean and polished!
Thanks so much!!!
Nice work
Beautiful work!
Thanks!!!
Hello sir! Great work. What style of stitch are you using sewing cow hide to zipper. Thank you in advance.

Enjoyed that. Nice work
Thank you sir!
Very nice bag! Should leather be glued to the back of hair on leather on a purse?

Hi Trina, sorry I missed this ... I get mine at Tandy leather. I believe you can order them online but I got that one at the Secaucus NJ store
