thank you so much, just finished my first pillow and it looks great. planning to make a few more. the instructions were clear and full of wise advice. thank you
Would it work to make 2 identical panels, lace up 3 sides, insert the pillow form and then lace the forth side? I have a little trouble with my hands and thought it might be easier. Your pillow is gorgeous!
Hi Jazmin, Thank you! If you use Barge cement it would be strong enough for a while, however with time and use it may start coming apart so it’s best to lace or stitch to make sure that doesn’t happen. Here is a great article on how to clean hair-on-hide: www.wikihow.com/Clean-a-Cowhide-Rug Hope this helps!

Mind blown!. Very nice
Wow. Would love to make a simple vest with that soft fluffy sheepskin!! Has anyone tried that?
For one of your "Leather Element" videos could you talk about your recommendations on what kind of leather to use for making a heavy leather coat?
Hello,
We will pass along the suggestion!
Thank you!

Hi Trish,
Yes, you could absolutely do that! You could even stuff your pillow with a fiber-fill if that was easier for you. :)
It's beautiful! Would the pillow be sturdy enough with just the glue? And how do you clean a pillow like this if it got dirty?

What is the diameter of the spool, just as a reference since I don’t have one of those spools
Hi Bruce,
The lace spool has a 2-3/4" diameter.
Weaver Leathercraft thanks you for the response.
Nice :)
I dont have suede can veg tan be used for back or a brown brindle colored upholstery leather
Hi Russell,
Yes, you can absolutely use a different kind of leather. For something like this I think the upholstery would work great!
@@WeaverLeatherSupply thanks so much.
