Great Tutorial❣️ Could a Stitch Groover be used to make Sewing holes All Around and then hand stitch in lieu of using a Sewing Machine? Just tryna figure out how to Make the bag Without a Sewing Machine
Looks as if she is using EcoFlo Leather Weld Adhesive from Tandy. The cutting board and rotary cutter are available a big box stores or a fabric stores.
@@TandyLeatherCo Thank you for the reply. As I stated the pattern in the video is precut and has folding lines. I would like to know where to find the pattern Jennifer is using in the video. Thanks
I would like to hear more description about the products as she uses them. Maybe as an example : This is edge flex, it is designed to do such and such. Is the thread in the machine an artificial sinew, or another type of thread? edit: (now that I have my glasses on, I see some product descriptions in the right hand corner. LOL)
okay I think I've rewatched it and need the tooling calfskin for the actual bag and the craft cut is just for protecting the bag from being punched through for the clasp?
I think that machine looks like a Consew like Tandy sells, except for a different color. I have a very similar machine called a Sailrite that will sew thru leather just like that machine does. Hope this helps. I have a leather foot, but it is a called a walking foot.
Very well done, I love your turquoise ring too.
Very nice I just picked a hair on hide from Tandy last week for a similar project.
Your work is beautiful. I love it. Thank you for that demonstration.
This is exactly what I needed to know. Thank you!
love it may i ask what weight veg tan did you use
Gosto muito do trabalho de vocês !!! Um abraço do Brasil !!!!!
I love this

Cannot wait to make this 😍😍😍
How to keep the hair from shedding on the cowhide?
Wouldn't using a saddle stitch be more secure? With a machine stitch, if a thread breaks, wouldn't there be a chance the thread could unravel?
Yes, a saddle stitch is the strongest most secure way to sew. Machines provide great stability as well!
Can you send the link for the instructions please
What adhesives and tools are used? So I can purchase please

What's the pros of Edge Flex?

@@PurpleRay444 The pattern was traced onto a file folder. The fold line you are seeing is the center of the folder.
@@TandyLeatherCo Thank you!!
What is the liner made of
I think I heard her say it is a veg tan, which is an unfinished leather that comes in different thicknesses. Veg tan takes the dye well.
What were the measurements on bag
what oz is the leather ?
4 to 5 ounces!
