Whoever made this video, cut the last part of the song out. My favorite rock band ever. I don't know if you reacted to, Over The Hill's And Far Away, or, Going To California. Two other great songs by them.
"All My Love" was sort of the lead single off "In Through The Out Door" which came packaged in a brown paper bag sort of wrapper to hide the sepia toned cover artwork of which there were several different varieties. I was in middle school at the time, so I only bought one copy. "Fool in the Rain" features a banger of a guitar solo wrapped inside a tango. "Hot Dog" is send up of country music. "In the Evening" hits like a mystery spreading freight train. Good stuff. The album marks John Bonham's last record with Led Zeppelin.
You know that it you put a little water on the sleeve it becomes water colored. Confirmed on my copy. Also that album had like 6 different sleeves, all different perspectives of the bar with the guy in the suit burning a dear John letter
@@abracadabra3033 Thank you for acknowledging my comments. I have been following led Zepplin since the late 60s I am much older now still rock out to them every day our music back then will never die. Again thank you try playing the song babe I’m gonna leave you. That is one of my favorites along with the rain song
This slow jam by LZ played at every high school dance in the early 80s. Teen couples would be hugged tight swaying. Usuallly played towards the end of the dance. ❤
Hi Abracadabra! Haven't commented in a long while; been very busy with "life"!! This is a beautiful song, and the day my son was deploying to Japan for 2 years (USS Green Bay) this song came on in the car when I was driving to see the ship off. TALK ABOUT CRYING MY EYES OUT. But so proud as well. Led Zeppelin are undoubtedly the KINGS of Rock.
@@abracadabra3033 Yeah. It amazes me how some can channel such grief into something so beautiful. Dan Rather did a great interview with Plant where he spoke about the song and the experience.
Hey Abracadabra! I love how much love & respect you have for Led Zeppelin! Most music connoisseurs have them in their top 10. They are undeniable. You have a great ear my friend. ✌❤🎵😎
I agree with the previous comment... Robert Plant wrote this song about his recently deceased son and John Paul Jones made it sound beautiful with keyboards and base pedals. I don't know why they were showing Jimmy Page on the video using stock footage from MSG concert. This is a beautiful song. Unfortunately the ad libs were cut out of the end.
Released in 1979, In Through The Out Door album. KMET radio in LA was burning up the airwaves ! It’s a great dance tune!! Listening again, makes me wonder if the carefree world of those early days will ever come again? Great Song! Now Nazareth !! Hair of the Dog!
IMO this album, their last, is underrated. I think it’s All Killer No Filler. I remember when Bonzo died. I was in grade 9 and all the guys at my high school were wearing black armbands. It still saddens me to listen to this and think how much more they had to offer.
Great reaction.... the different selection of music you have is great. Have you ever reacted to Stevie Ray Vaughn? I looked back a few months and didn't see one. Greatest blues guitarist ever...
I really enjoy your reactions! Your sincerity and enthusiasm is exactly what this music calls for. You’ve got that “cool” thing happening in your genre. Keep it up!
Zeppelin is one of the top bands of all time... A few of their very best would be "Your time is gonna come", "Ten years gone", "What is and what should never be" and "Fool in the rain".... among MANY other great fucking tunes...!
Really like the black and white, and the contrast, shape and shadow. However, it's always a shame to put a handsome man in the dark! Was a huge fan of the outdoor setting.
John Bonham the drummer wore out base peddles constantly. You can here his squeaking and they liked the sound and left it in. They guy never destroyed his drums like Keith Moon did, he wore them out playing so hard. Eddie Kramer was asked how he got that John Bonham sound? He said "Just get a giant ape to play for you".
Brilliant group for sure, Lets do it...Unique sound, amazing vocals...Timeless, pop their 8 track in and take my Chevelle anywhere it would take me, you know hippies, hahahahaha...Thanks A. Peace
The video is of LZ singing 'Rock and Roll'. Someone has paired it with the 'All My Love' soundtrack. The soundtrack cuts out part way through the song and the last part of the video where Bonzo hits the drums is from Rock and Roll. They hardly ever performed this song live and I don't think there is any video of them doing it.

An excellent song. In retrospect, it has that 'end of a band' feel to it. Much like the long and Winding Road for the Beatles.
It was a tribute to the loss of Plant's son at 5 years old in 1977.
