MUFFLER DELETE (6 MONTH REVIEW)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 8 бер 2018
- It's been about 6 months since I did the muffler delete (resonator delete) to my APR tuned VW Jetta GLI. Let's talk about how it sounds and if it's worth it.

Lets go hear the car choke out quickly....Then shows glamour shots for 36 seconds.
Borla s type catback is the sound your looking for more performance sound then fartcan sound
I'm pretty sure the dsg fart happens no matter what I think its a fuel cut whenever you shift
Lol that choke sound is a DSG fart, it’s supposed to sound like that 🤣
I would agree if my car was DSG... it's manual lol.
I have manuel too and it happens when traction control engaged cuz of wheelspinn :) so it makes a fart 💨
Good point
@@Frankiegisme it's a fuel cut every time you shift
Coolant fluid is only to cool down your blinkers so I think you're fine you dont had to do anything
I thought that was blinker fluid??? 😂
So wait. Both Mufflers? Or just 1 of them?

I only have a mid muffler delete on my GLI. Thanks 🙏🏼
Your waterpump prob went bad
That light came on while driving to work one time in my mk6 gti stock. I got it towed and the dealer said i needed a new waterpump
Please help. I’m trying to do a muffler delete on my mk6 2.5 Jetta. But I looked under the car the other day and there’s two mufflers? Which do I cut off
I did the mid-muffler. Most people do both and then replace the rear muffler with an after market muffler. You’ll probably be better off getting an aftermarket catback
The middle one is a resonator. Removing that will cause droning noises and does nothing as far as “performance” the one near the exhaust tips is the actual muffler, the channeled enclosed box to reduce noise. Removing the muffler will give it a deeper growl/throaty noise, I’ve read it will also increase hp minutely and allow the engine and turbo to breathe a little easier.
Aye do you ever do any of these VW cruises in town?
Usually last minute cruises for vid content
how can i make my 2014 jetta S louder? is it good to do ?
Do it the right way with a catback exhaust. Worth the money
Are your wheels plasti dipped mate? or with gloss? thanks
Matte. When I wash my car I put some tire shine on them. Plasti dip is rubber based so it works good
thank you! I heard that tire shine make plasti dip peel off. thats contradictory :(
Tire cleaner dissolves plasti dip. I haven’t had issues with tire shine.
I will try it out and let you know how it goes :)
Hey does this work on the Jetta Gli 2016 2.0?
Same car, so should be same results. I recommend getting a catback
what tail lights u got
OE for 2015 GLI SE
I once chirped you for calling your car a panda. But honestly man your videos are so professional and well edited. Your car is also insanely clean. Big ups dude.
😂 Hah it’s cool man. Glad you stuck around 👍🏼
How is life in arizona?
good man
@@Frankiegisme your in az too? I’m planning on doing a muffler delete but don’t know where I should it done at
Honestly not worth. Better off getting a less expensive catback exhaust system
@@Frankiegisme oh man Frankie! I ended up getting a 2020 s6
Those are badass
Those are called DSG farts
Manual car
How do you get that license plate? Where can I get one?
Do a google search for euro plates
