Neon first and if you want to keep angel with tetra go get a juvanille not the adult one because neon will be the most expensive snack your angel ever eat
Hey Anthony, As from my experience. Angel fish only eat what they can fit in their mouth. I haven't encountered them eating the tetras that I have. But better not to have tiny tetras if you plan to do a community tank. Good luck.
yes, i feel that too, i had these angel fish since they were as tiny as Quater size, now they have out growed the tank, will have to upgrade to bigger tank soon, :)
It could be a hundred gallon tank and someone else would say it should be 101 gallons. The main thing is cleanliness and proper water parameters. Of course more space is always better...but the way I look at it, a glass border is a glass border. One is no different than the other. If they're not in the wild they will hit a border either way it goes.
@@LeeDfined WOW, i never thought that way, you are absolutely right about that, but i wish i had bigger tank too, i have limited space, and when i got these fish they were really tiny and i had 5 Gal tank , i then got 10Gal, and then upgraded to 20Gal.
They seem healthy, and don’t seem to have any problems. I keeped my angelfish in a 20 gallon tank and they started breeding! All that matters is that you have a tall tank and once a week water changes :)

How are your angels not eating the tetras ??? Mine eat them. I put 8 in and the next day I only had 3 left.

You are meant to introduce the angelfish to the neon tetras when the angelfish are young so they can grow up not eating them...

that is sad to hear, luckily mine haven't, they have got along together for a long time now,
Id say try bigger tetras like lamp eyes, they are not as pretty as neons but in my opinion they are quite nice and wont get eaten by angels

Yeah same with me, they even ate other bigger fish. My angelfish are no angels at all. -_-
